IPhone :: 3GS Was Dropped And Will Not Turn On Or Respond To USB Connection?
Apr 16, 2012
The phone is physically intact, but you can see the LCD is cracked behond the glass. I have tried plugging it in, tried putting it on the charger, and resetting it using the off and home buttons, bit response. I don't need the phone to work, but I do need to be bale to back it up in order to restore to the new phone. Is there any way to extract the data or back up the hard drive without repairing the phone? Just curious what my options are before I spend cash trying to fix the phone and find out there was another way to get the data.
I gently dropped my iphone 4s on the carpet. It fell onto a carpet floor with wood underneath. It now went dormant and will not turn on. I have attempted to hold down the on button and the home button and nothing happens.
I dropped my iphone 3 days ago and it now wont turn on I put it on charge for 12 hours and during those 12 hours my phone kept vibrating and the screen would light up faintly
I recently dropped my Nokia Lumia 1520, and the top left of the screen is cracked pretty bad, but usually that doesn't stop a phone from working.. When I dropped it the screen froze for about 5 seconds, then randomly shut off.. This is the only phone I have, and insurance is still $200 to replace, and I wouldn't have that for a couple months. I was wondering if there was a way to somehow power it on?
I believe the battery still works, because sometimes when I try to turn it on, the flash blinks, and it gets hot if I leave it on the charger. It doesn't respond when I plug it into the pc, so I doubt it's the display not working...
I got the nokia E72, and i have a wlan connection at home, so it always connects automaticaly and downloads the emails, and the wlan connection symbol is always on in the bottom of the screen, how to turn this off? cos it will consume more battery power
I have a N97 mini, is there any way to turn off just the mobile internet connection? The mobile internet connection can be very expensive when you are abroad (in roaming) is there anything like the "offline profile" but just for the mobile internet connection (so the one can still call and use sms)?
I'm using E72 and I have this kind of problem. How to turn on or off for internet connection in E72? I'm also using Iphone 3GS and it has a turn on/off button for cellular data. Does E72 has this kind of button?
I am using Android 5.0.2 rooted by pingpong. I have G920FD I have a problem because I can't turn on vibration when I am calling. I want to have vibration when I am calling and have connection and when I call off on the end of my call. Where is this option.?
I have a blackberry pearl 8130, and a couple of days ago the connection started to turn off and stay off. When I go to manage connections and turn on te mobile network .. it lasts for about 30 seconds and than turns right off again.
When making a call the S6 makes a connection tone and a disconnection tone at the end of the call. You could turn this off on the S5 I cannot find where to turn it off on the S6.
The screen is blank and nothing I do is working. I have tried holding down the home and power buttons but nothing has happened. What do I do? Should I send it in to be repared? It was working one minute and then the next it wasn't respnding to anything. I didn't drop it or spill anything on it. I don't understand why this is happening. Also Itues willnot recognize it. No charging will do anything.
Not bashing on the phone, just thought it was funny. Just received my wife's new ip4 (first iPhone ever for us) and she made a phone call to her parents. After about 10 minutes, the call just abruptly dropped. Coming from Verizon, I knew this would happen, just not so soon. I guess it's all just part of being an iPhone owner.
I've a IPhone 4s and I'm facing real problems to do a call. At the moment I'v e really most times dropped calls. I didn't get until now a idea why and how and also I didn't see until know a structure behind this failure. But it haappens not always and I think it have to do something with the signal coverage.
I dropped my iPhone 3G onto hard tiles and the top half of the front screen popped out. Was getting flickering visuals on the screen as I tried to press the phone back together. I realized the power button had somehow turned sideways, so I attempted to push it back into place. The rest of the screen then popped off. I reconnected the wires but could not see anything on my screen. Put it on the charger last night and heard it beep like normal. When I woke up this morning, though, it was completely unresponsive. No visuals, no sounds, plugged into the computer and it's not being recognized. Tried to reset, still not getting a response.
Tried to update iPhone 4 because they kept sending me an update etc.. Now my iPhone is emergency call only - Says connect to iTunes - I tunes says cannot read content of iPhone - restore to factory settings. I do not want to lose my pics etc.
my mom's iphone doesnt respond no matter what i do. the screen is blank.tried connecting it to the PC but was of no use. but the orange light on the left side is on.
Accidently dropped my iPhone 4s and the screen is now off (black) and when ever I connect it to charge, it bleeps (on general mode) and the screen stays off (black).
My 3GS was dropped into water-is there anything I c an do to save it? It will power up and I put it through the restore procedure, which it seemed to respond to, but it still won't work.
If my handset is the cause of dropped calls, wouldnt it be safe to assume that it should be dropping calls everywhere and not in just one area? If it's one area then it would be a Sprint issue and not Apple issue, correct?
