Jan 14, 2010I bought a 8900 curve blackberry from a guy in Romania Bucharest who said got it from Hungary. I activated blackberry email from my operator witch is Vodafone Romania but when I try to login on http://mobileemail.vodafone.ro/ to create my email this message appears: Your BlackBerry Internet Service Account is suspended or deactivated. Please contact your wireless service provider at 0725 and vodafone operator said the problem comes from RIM who is transmitting this message.

Apr 15, 2012I bought a Sprint iphone 4 from someone who had deactivated due to he couldnt afford the extra data package; therefore the ESN is bad and not free and clear. I have a 12yr old son with Down Syndrome who had played with his sisters ipod touch and I thought we might be able to get him to like this one instead. When I showed him the Angry Birds game, to our astonishment, he took to it immediately. It is the first time he's ever played, and completed any game, ever. Needles to say what I bought for parts(I have a cell phone repair business) has now become his phone. Usually in these cases I do a complete reset, but instead, I have deleted all the prior owners personal information and reset up the wifi and my email info.
The problem I'm having is getting Facetime to work on this used iphone 4. Another daughter is away at college, has an iphone 4 with AT&T, and we would love for our son to be able to talk to the sister he misses so much. I have set up an account in Apple, followed all the instructions, and it never gets past the "Verifying"message then "Activation unsuccessful. Turn on Facetime to try again." We are utilizing Wifi and have a good strong connection, because I can surf the net and get into my AOL account.

Dec 11, 2014I tried to restart my old iPhone4 that I kept as a Backup phone for the family, after some six months of not using it. I got a message on the screen saying that it is deactivated and I should retry in some 3720 minutes. That is 38 hours too long as it is needed right away. Is there any way to sort this out on the spot? iTunes gave me a message that I should respond to it from the phone in order to conect, but I am unable to use the phone with the exceprion of emergency calls.

Every thing is working except emails. Mar 6, 2010I want to set up my 5800 to work in the car as a music/navigation/handsfree device. I created a Car profile with ring volumes and other stuff set up just the way I want it. However, I cannot make the screen not to timeout and turn off. Basically, the automatic screen lock is deactivated and shouldn't get into way. When I plug the aux cable into the phone I select the Music Stand accessory which is the only one that has a Screen control setting. It is set to On, from the default Automatic. However, the screen goes black anyway, but the buttons stay lit.

Aug 18, 2010I got my torch 9800 on launch day. i loved this device and definately felt like i was upgrading from my old device (iphone 3g). as much as i love the capabilities of the device i have run into a few issues, specifically network issues. it all started on sunday when all of a sudden i lost connection to the blackberry servers(the little logo in the corner was gone..) i went to at&t on monday and they could not figure it out. apparently my service book for the blackberry internet service got deleted(i didnt even know what a servicebook was lol) so i went home later that night and downnloaded the at&t software and reinstalled the os and this worked. then all of a sudden today, my fb was acting up, so i deleted the app. then i lost the connection again... do you guys have any idea what could be causing this? im currently reinstalling the os as i write this.
