Hotspot Feature On IPhone 4 Not Showing Anymore
Sep 5, 2014I have been using my iPhone 4 hotspot feature a lot lately but it suddenly disappeared from my settings. How can I get it back?

Apr 3, 2012The auto login function to my tmobile Hotspot has worked for over 1 year without any problem on my iPhone 4. After migration to ios 5 / ios 5.1 the function doesn't work any more and i have to login manually, each time.
I use the same iPhone, telekom phone number, telekom login account id, telekom account password. The manual login works without problem. Nothing else has changed, but the ios upgrade. So it seams to be a bug in the ios upgrade.

Xperia Z3 :: Activate WiFi Hotspot Feature
Apr 18, 2012I just got Xperia Z3 SO-01G Docomo. Â This is already got sim lock de-activation code. Â So, I can use it on Lte and 3G network (Dtac Trinet) in Thailand. Â Everything went well untill I have activate WiFi Hotspot feature. Â All devices (Sony Vaio PC and iPad mini 3) have connected to Z3 without a problem. Â But no internet activity was working. Â All devices could not browse internet, facebook not connect, etc.

So, I have had a seroius look at all aspects of phone networking. Â I found out that the APN setting which could be visible at all time when you look at, whether you are using cellular networking or not. Â However, when WiFi Hotspot activated, then the APN setting was blank and all setting was disable. All access points were vanish. Â Then de-activate WiFi Hotspot, all setting in APN page were back as normal.
BB Bold :: Mobile Hotspot Feature Suddenly Won't Switch On?
May 25, 2010I'm running 7.1 on BB 9900 using the O2 (UK) network. Until very recently I'd been successfully using the Mobile Hotspot feature with no problem at all (ipad, laptop etc. - ironically not working with the Playbook but that's another story). In the last week or so I am suddenly no longer even able to switch it on the feature. If I try and select the checkbox box next to Mobile Hotspot I see the spinning wheel (the green circle one sees whenever one first checks any of the network connection boxes), which then just disappears. Any ideas? I'm hoping to avoid the usual Kafkaesque - speak to your operator vs. speak to RIM scenario.

Sep 12, 2014I have a big issue with the Hotspot of my iPhone, I've upgraded my iOs to 5.1.1 (I know its an old version but its my first upgrade of my old iphone 4...).Â
I've tried the solutions below:
1- I don't see the Personal Hotspot in "Setting > General > Network > Personal Hotspot".
2- I don't see the "Internet Tethering" in "Network > Mobile Data Network > Internet Tethering
3- I've tried to reset Network Settings using the path ""Setting > General > reset > reset Network Settings"
4- I don't have the Onavo application in my phone.
5- I've tried my sim card on the iphone of my friend, and we can see the Hotspot in his iphone, so it’s not an issue of the CARRIER.
6- I don't have any Profile installed on my iphone.Â
All these steps are done, but still have the same problem

Jun 11, 2012Is there any way to show the hotspot notification ribbon from showing?It is just that a number of apps I have can't shrink the app display and as a result the bottom row of buttons half merge with the status bar of the app and make things difficult.I have a calculator app (I have had to stop using the built in one because it will not let you backspace to correct an entry) and when I am connected via the personal hotspot, there is an issue where the bottom row of buttons compete for the same space as the apps status bar.

I had cricket unlock it because I'm in México and wanted to use it with TELCEL. The phone works fine with TELCEL but there is no mobile hotspot option in settings. (TELCEL does have tethering as I am able to use it on my iPhone). I don't know how to enable it.

Defy includes own app called 3G Mobile Hotspot, which should work like that option for creating mobile WiFi hotspots in other Android phones. But here is the problem.On my older phone with Android 2.2 I could create 3G WiFi hotspot wherever I needed and it worked.
