i'm having to double click everything & the slide feature is not working.Resetting fixes it for a couple seconds then it goes right back.i.e. If I go to open my mailbox, i have to 1st select the icon. then double tap it to open. same thing once I get to an email.

View 1 Replies View RelatedMy iPhone 4s went out last night and was just dead. Thought that maybe a couple drops of rain got in it, so did the rice thing last night. I'd hear it text/email ping throughout the night, so figured it was working. Today, looks/sounds fine. Clear graphics on front, song plays when a call comes in and I can briefly read the text messages. My problem is:Â
The screen lock will not move. Even if I do a power off...the power off slide appears, but can't move that either. I've done the hard shut downs (pressing top/bottom) buttons...goes black...Apple symbol...home page, but still can't slide the bar. I've tried that A LOT...at least a 100 times! Same for just "Power Off"...still nothing. Took to Verizon, and all he wanted to do was sell me a new one. Figure that will be the same at the Apple store.Â
All I want to do is get it unlocked at least once, so I can do a more recent backup. (I'll p/u another phone on eBay/Craig's list)Â

I have an iphone 4s that is less than 2years old. The service warranty has expired. A few days ago the lock/sleep/power button stopped working so I had to access the assistive touch icon to lock the phone. Now, the assistive touch button works when I touch the screen (I can move it around) but my phone will not slide to unlock, let me open the camera by sliding up or let me open the flashlight/brightness panel from the bottom. I cannot reset my phone because the lock button stopped working. My contract is up in February so I cant buy a new phone

They say I sound muffled and crackly. This happens both when receiving and making calls. I am not using any kind of headphone system (bluetooth or wired).

The respond with text feature is not working on my iPhone 6 Plus. I got the phone yesterday and restored it from the iCloud backup from my iPhone 5. The setting is enabled in the passcode section of the settings, and all of my previous custom messages are still showing in the list. It will not give me the option to respond to a phone call with a text message whether or not the phone is locked, unlocked, engaged in a current phone call, or not engaged in a call. Â
I remember having this problem with my 4 a long time ago but I cannot remember how I fixed it.Â
After the latest software update (5.1), text messages that were once blue (indicating imessage) went back to the green color.

Did a factory reset which didnt solve the problem. Decided to upgrade to android 2.1 and now none of the keys on the slide out keyboard work. Tried to reinstall android 2.1 and still doesnt work. I have checked the settings through my Windows Live account that my Facebook account is sync'd/allowed to send messages via chat to my phone.I have checked my FB chat settings to see No settings have been changed disallowing FB chat through my phone. In fact this explains perfectly my problem, as one day FB chat worked perfectly, the next few days it worked intermittently, and then from then on it has stopped working completely. I cannot see any contacts, and my phone says"Cannot Connect to see who's online".
