Dec 27, 2012I'd like to know how to arrange, add and remove menu item icons in Asha 300. I do not mean the "Go To" menu, but the Main Menu. In my phone, there is Calendar, Contacts, Music, Internet, Messaging, Photos, Settings, Store and Apps.In the Menu screen there is Options and Exit, but Options only gives choice between Main Menu view: List or Grid with labels.The actual problem is that I do not need Internet or Store icons, and when I download new themes for my phone the blue Store icon stays always the same basic bag icon- it looks bad when all other icons are changed in the theme.

Jun 9, 2010So I've been tooling around with iOS4, and unfortunately one of the features I use the most appears to be missing. You can't customize the behavior of the home button anymore in Settings, and as such you can't set it to do things like open phone favorites, open the camera or open the iPod controls. This is kind of a downer since I used to use the double-tap for phone favorites all the time.
I know that previous reports about iOS4 said you could double-tap and hold to bring up phone favorites but that's not working anymore, it seems.
- Holding the home button brings up voice control.
- Double-tapping brings up the multitasking/recent apps bar along the bottom.
- Double-tapping and holding does nothing.
- Triple-tapping does nothing.
- Triple-tapping and holding brings up voice control.
Motorola Droid Razr :: Customization Of Favorites Screen In Phone App?
Sep 19, 2012Prior to ICS, on the Favorites Screen in the Phone App, the people who I called regularly were only listed once, even if I had called them on different #s listed in their contact profile. Under ICS, people are listed multiple times equivalent to each number of theirs dialed. This has the effect of getting fewer people listed on the Favorites screen. Is there a way to customize this so it goes back to the pre-ICS approach of only listing an individual once?

When I disabled stock text and got sms pro it defaulted to this. Has anyone else figured out how to customized these apps? My friend is running a JB rom on his nexus and was able to have something like 10(maybe more) customisable apps located on his unlock wheel.

The vibration mode works fine for me (both call and message notifications vibrate only), but sound notification for text messages when I am in the middle of something. Jul 26, 2010Sometimes randomly after unlocking my phone or turning it on, (specifically a couple seconds maybe 4, of looking at the Home screen) I hear a noise. I'm not sure if it vibrates or not I'll check next time. But it seems to be some sort of notification that happened. Now I have no apps running but I get this beep sound. I checked text messages, emails, push notifications, battery, coverage yet its not one of those. Maybe its WiFi. But for some reason I get this random beep of the phone trying to notify me of something but it never shows up on the screen. Sometimes after locking my phone (screen being black) it does the noise.

Mar 26, 2010I have setup 9 email accounts on my E72 through nokia messaging. Since the E72 home screen can ONLY fit 2 accounts (primary and secondary), my other 6 email accounts are left in cold. There are NO notifications whatsoever for these accounts - no flashing lights, no email icon on the bottom of the screen, no sound, etc.Yet, when I go into the email app and find the six other email accounts, there are new messages!Even on an old E61 there is email notifications on the home screen for all the accounts.Perhaps nobody in the Nokia development team has more than two email accounts?

Aug 6, 2010My phone has only +100 contacts and +3900 messages but whenever a new message arrives there is no notification about it on the screen nor the ringtone is played for the sms.When i format the phone the problem is not there but as i restore my data (contacts and messages) back the same problem contineus but when i restore the same data to any other phone ( including n97 mini ) the problem is not there.Also when i try to restore the backup which i had originally restored in my n97s from n95 8gb ( my previous phone ) the restroing process hangs when it reaches the messages but it works fine in other phones
