Sep 9, 2014My phone says I have a new message when I don't. The red new text notifier won't come off of my message block. I have tried turning it on and off.

IPhone :: 4 Notification Sound Bug - What Sort Of Notification This Is
Jul 26, 2010Sometimes randomly after unlocking my phone or turning it on, (specifically a couple seconds maybe 4, of looking at the Home screen) I hear a noise. I'm not sure if it vibrates or not I'll check next time. But it seems to be some sort of notification that happened. Now I have no apps running but I get this beep sound. I checked text messages, emails, push notifications, battery, coverage yet its not one of those. Maybe its WiFi. But for some reason I get this random beep of the phone trying to notify me of something but it never shows up on the screen. Sometimes after locking my phone (screen being black) it does the noise.

Sep 9, 2014For most apps such as Facebook, Facebook messenger, and what's app I leave all my notification settings turned off aside from the red bubble. I don't need any extra notification from these apps.
Recently everytime II open up any one of those apps I get a pop up of some sort within the app covering the whole screen telling me how to turn on all my notifications for the app and I have to "x" out of it everytime before I can get into the actual app. If I do what it says and turn on all the notifications it stops but I don't want all those notifications. Â

BUT, if lets say, there is no wifi and the carrier signal is out of range temporarily for whatever reason. bad coverage, reboot/phone off, etc, will the push notifications be completely missed or will you receive them after the fact the way you would an SMS?

Aug 12, 2010Has anyone else experienced a lag from the time you receive the email to the time you hear a notification? I have my phone set to Push and Fetch for manual check to help conserve battery, and when I check, I will see the email come in, but no notification sound/vibrate. Even on fetch it does it. And from appx. 5 mins and on I will finally hear the notification ding or vibrate. I called apple care- they walked me through resetting all network settings.. that did not work, I also restore my phone.. and that did not work..

So i thought maybe it messed the Plist up, so i went into ifile and went into the Frameworks folder and i dont have a Privateframeworks folder or anything with celestialframeworks.
I deleted asvibra and still got nothing. Any options besides restoring?

Tried to install push doctor (as i did with my 3G) in Cydia but it keeps on getting an error and installation could not be completed.
Further, the badges on the foto messenger icon (# of new msgs) would not reset, eg. it stays at the last number of msg received.

Then it names an app that I have already purchased and use on a regular basis, then says and 8 other items could not be purchased at this time. Please try again later.
