Jun 14, 2013Had HTC one for couple months now and quite a few times I can not use the screen it is unresponsive and I have to hit the power button to turn screen off and on and its fine.

Galaxy S6 :: Phone Freeze For Two Seconds And Then Return To Screen
Sep 22, 2015one week ago i installed OTA 5.1.1' but it's not the new with the new icons, and i am having some issues with it, the phone lags in the settings app for the first couple of seconds, when someone call me and i slide the green circle to the right the in-call screen appears but the phone freeze for two seconds and then return to the screen you see when someone calling you again....sometimes i have to slide it 3 times to answer the call, i didn't have these issues in 5.1.1, now the question is for those who have the newest 5.1.1, do you have these issues??

Jan 14, 2016Today I got a problem with my LG G4. I was in a whatsapp conversation, when my screen freezed. I couldn't click anywhere and couldn't go to the homescreen or lock the screen. A few moments later my screen went black.
Since then I can't start my phone. When I remove my battery and insert it 5 minutes later back into the phone, I can start the phone, I see the LG logo, but after that, my screen goes black again, so it's turned off automatically. When I try to start my phone again, it doesnt work. It only works when I remove the battery for a few minutes first.
I already tried to boot the phone in recovery mode, which didnt work either. I see the LG logo and after that the screen turns black again.
About 2 months ago my phone fell in water for a few moments. I instantly removed the battery and put the phone in a container with rice for 48 hours. After this the phone worked as it did before again.
Google Nexus 6 :: Phone Lags Turns To Split Screen And Freeze
Apr 6, 2015Its weird was doing this when I had 5.0.1 whole using youtube only. Now on 5.1 while playing bejeweled type game. The game will start to lag and then half the screen will split an freeze. Doesn't do it all the time very random. I have uninstalled and reinstalled game as well.

May 8, 2015I recently bought a Samsung Galaxy S5 (sm-g900f). Sometimes the screen just freeze, and grey lines appears (as in this picture goo.gl/qIdGg7 ).
The main button and the power still working, as I can see the white light turning on and off as usual after pressing them.
And after click the power button once (which turn off the display), the screen remains black.
The phone is actually still working, as I can ear it ringing or receiving messages and email.
But I cant do anything, just take off the battery and restart it. I already reset it and the problem keeps happen again.

Sep 19, 2011it's been frozen for 10 days only showing the SE logo and it won't start at all.I tried everything on the PC companion (even the repair phone link) and nothing works; when i click on repair and choose the model and set it on flash mode, it starts downloading.After 30 seconds, the download stops (i see it stopped because the lamps from my modem stop blinking) and after 5 minutes, i get the error saying that there's an internet connection problem.

Aug 30, 2010Got this new from Nokia N86 less then a week ago and wasn't texting much - more calling and getting use to Symbian. But the few txts I did do were fine. NOW whenever I text and use the space key, which is inevitable, the screen freezes completely. I have to take the battery out wait and then re-start. Wierdly it's not the first use of the space key that wil freeze it.

Dec 6, 2015New Android user here and new to the LG family. Finally settled on the G4 after comparing a few different Android phones. Got the phone home, let it charge, updated the phone, and set up all my accounts and apps. However, not 10 hours into owning the phone, I've now come across a problem - the whole left side of the screen (50% of the screen in vertical) randomly will freeze, making the phone look like it has had a stroke. Sometimes the freeze lasts for a few seconds, sometimes for several minutes, before it freezes on another screen. The weird thing is that the right side of the screen still works and acts as if nothing is wrong on the left. I plan on returning the phone tomorrow, but I'm seriously concerned as to whether this will happen again if I get another G4.

I also try the call buttons and they also don't respond.And could Nokia, please, change the setting on the display light after a call in the next update. The screen goes dark after the call that you cannot see the call duration at the end of the call. Its highly annoying!!! [At least to me since I have to monitor my calls since I roam alot]I do have the latest version of the Nokia Software installed on the N97 and everything else is working fine.

BB Bold 9700 :: No Home Screen / Freeze
Aug 26, 2010A few days ago I switched to another phone for a few days and I left my Bold with its battery removed for a day or two.When I restarted my Bold 9700, I've been unable to see or act on the home screen or apps screen. However, the phone is still working (push on the green button and the phone screen pops up), same with the long press on blackberry key.
I did search to do a reset of my handset but I can't find a way to do it knowing that I can't access the menus.

Jun 1, 2010I currently have an SMS app called Crunchsms. Anyway, got a notification today that an upgrade was available (v2.8 > v2.9). Upgraded and it asked me to reboot, as per normal. Handset rebooted, put in my pin, and the home screen is frozen. Yet if I hold in the blackberry menu key, I can choose and select other destinations (i.e. WnW, Messages, Maps, etc).I can call my handset from another phone with no problems and can answer the calls ok.
I have been getting the little arrows in the top right corner of the phone, which leads me to believe the handset was downloading something, but its been like this for about 20 minutes now. Have rebooted again twice and have taken the battery out and replaced it, same end result.

Jul 6, 2015For the second time, my galaxy s6 screen seem to be frozen. When it happens, I see a blue bar moving up and down on the screen. I can reset the phone by holding power and volume down button but it doesn't fix it, the phone is still frozen after the reboot.
I can't power down the phone completely since the screen doesn't allow me to hit the Power Off option! All button seem to be working fine.

Aug 22, 2014I dont think i'm bring Paranoid but I am noticing when I swipe up to unlock my screen, enter my Pin and press Enter.. the phone doesnt unlock. It hangs and i get a blank black screen for a maybe 7 to 8 seconds.
I have to retry the process a few times to get a successful result.
It is noticeable now i have a software Update of 2.1.2. Not the Android Update.

I have to reboot the phone to get it to work again which is does right away. I also find the phone will freeze up on occasion requiring a hard reset to get it to reboot. The 920 has this problem as well. What is up with this? I thought I'd seen the end of this kind of behavior when I left Android.
