Nov 1, 2011I have just got my phone a couple of days ago and I am trying to find my way around. The instructions are useless and I cannot transfer these files. I am a silver surfer pretty good on pc but do not know anything about android phones.

Dec 22, 2011I have HTC Desire. I had some videos and pictures in my mobile. I never deleted them from my mobile, I just transferred them to my PC and with transfer they disappear. I can't see them in Gallery any more. Luckily due to the backup software Astro, i have got my Pictures back but I can't locate my videos anywhere. To remind you, I just transferred them, not deleted them from mobile.

Dec 6, 2010The HTC desire and HT Sync work well with Contacts, Photos and Calendar. But with documents, the synchronisation appears to be from the PC to the Desire and not the other way round. Thus it appears to copy rather than synchronise.

I'vw removed two of the apps but the Ovi Store Client remains persistently stubborn and is immediately re-installed with the "securewidgetinstaller". And that Ovi tab under contacts i'd like to see that gone too.

Jun 14, 2015I now have a S6 and so far it is not rooted. The one thing I miss a lot is the ability to "completely" remove all ads. AdAway does a great job but you need to be rooted to use it. Ad Blocker tries but does not get all the ads . Of all the things I miss by not rooting this is at the top of my list.

BB Curve 83xx :: OS Reload After PTT Removal
Jan 6, 2010I'm following the manual procedure to remove PTT as described in several threads such as "how-uninstall-push-talk-82057" Works great. But the next time I use Desktop Manager to add or remove an application it reloads the whole suite of device software as well. This is a pain because I have to re-register all my apps and do a bunch of other housekeeping but it also brings PTT back.
Any idea what is causing this? I am using DM 5.0.1

Dec 9, 2014My phone seems to remove purchased music from my library when space is running low.
Songs that I know I've downloaded show up with the little cloud icon thing and I have to download them again.
- I buy new music from iTunes
- It downloads on my phone
- I go do something else
- I want to listen to the music again
- I try to re download it
- I don't have space
The thing is way overzealous in its deletion.
This morning, I was listening to an album I had downloaded less than an hour before. I paused to watch a video in my photo library (less than a minute long).
I pressed play to resume the music. Music gone.
Later, I redownload the music. Right after it finished downloading, it alerts me that storage is almost full. Music gone.Â
I really want to turn this feature off. Music is one of the last things I would want to remove from my phone.

Mar 21, 2010I'm only new here so play nice! I got a new E52 last week. Problem is there is 2 icons on the home screen that I can't get rid of. One is a flashing mail icon ( I used to get this when my E51 inbox was full) and the other is showing the icon that a mail was pending being sent - ie in my outbox. Thing is, there is nothing in any outbox. Can anybody help me get rid of these 2 icons please?

Nov 19, 2011I am having an Xperia X10 mini. I had updated it to the latest 2.1 update a month back. All my contacts, settings etc were backed up in my 2GB SD card (which came along with the phone) using the back up and restore software within the phone. Recently my phone's earspeaker was not functioning and i took it to the service centre for repair( it was within the warranty period) where they removed the SD card without unmounting and gave it to me. After the repair when i inserted my Sd card it wont work. My phone says "SD card removed. Insert a new one." It would recognise any other card except mine. it is not working on my computer either (computer doesn't recognise it at all). I have all my Contacts and other files in it.
