The files on both my media card, and device are unable to display. When I access my phone through my PC, the files do show, but from my phone I get a message like this: Unable to display file/Device/Blackberry.exe. The icon next to the file name has a question mark in it. This happened after I connected my device to a friends PC to copy a large file.
I have a wireless home network using a BT Home Hub wired to the internet.I have a WD NAS wired to the hub/router.I have a Mac OS X 10.4 desktop and a Toshiba Windows laptop both connected to the network by Wi-Fi.They can both see the shared files on the NAS.
I have an iPhone 5S which connects wirelessly to the network, and can access the internet, email etc fine.I can't find the NAS on the iPhone, but I know it is on the same network as all my devices. What do I need to do to the iPhone to see the files on the NAS?
My teenage daughter and I both have a Blackberry Curve 9300 ,she lost hers last week and received a new one via insurance yesterday. Her problem is she can't play any of the music she downloads. She uses a site called MP3 SKULL and had a ton of music on her last phone that played perfectly . She spent ages last night downloading stuff but it only saves 18 secs worth and says it is an unsupported format when she tries to play!
I have recently upgraded to the BB curve 9300 and I'm having trouble with gaining access to my micro sd card files(pics/ring tones) that are on the card.
I downgraded back to OS 5. I have only access to the email. I can't find any programs. Some of the email icon link to oprogram file but can not open it!
I would like to think that I am somewhat OK with using the XOOM based on the fact that I have an original DROID and have been dealing with the ANDROID OS for some time now. I have yet to load any files on the XOOM itself, but I was wondering how I go about accessing files once they are put on the XOOM. I have uploaded pictures and placed those in the picture folder but they are easy to find due to the gallery. When plugged into my laptop I can see all of the different folders, but I cannot figure out how to get to them when not plugged into the laptop. You can do a long touch on the DROID homescreen and it will give you the options of seeing, shortcuts, widgets, folders and wallpapers. This is how I would access files with the DROID. It does not work the same for the XOOM.
Is there anyway i can access the other file in the phone memory.everytime i download an app it keep reducing eventhough it install the app in my card memory.and i dont think all the file there are of great importance to the system itself.now i'm left with just 3mb. hard format doesnt seem to delete this file
cool new application that allows you to get access to all your files/folders on your n900 from any pc with IE or another browser so long as you are on wifi.
there are two parts to install:
tiny smb & tiny smb gui.install the server first then the gui. if you have rootfs installed:
open xterm sudo gainroot apt-get install tinysmb apt-get install tinysmbgui to get it to work and find out what your ip address is on the n900, open xterm /sbin/ifconfig wlan0 | grep inet
then go to your computer, open a browser that is connected to the same network, and type in the ip address of the n900 and you will see all your files/folders pop up like explorer.
Recently I've installed quite a lot of applications, so when I went to open the Installation Files folder, there is nothing in it, and it goes back to home screen.I know that the problem is that is having difficulties reading all the data, there is like 400MB of .sis applications on my phone. My questions is how to uninstall or delete some of the applications. Is there a way to do it from a computer, because I can't find the folder where the applications are installed.
My child dropped my phone from the top of the stairs, and my screen will not display anything it has several hair line cracks on the screen.- if i swipe my fingerprint i can hear the phone opening but again display doesn't work. I have removed all my pictures and files that are visible to an external hard drive, all is left to access is the pictures and files i have in private mode. I wish to remove these before sending phone back, its essential i retrieve these hidden folders. Is there any possible way to gain access from my pc???? i can swipe my finger to unlock phone but thats it.
