Xperia X10 Mini/pro :: SD Card Not Working After Removal Without Un-mounting?

I am having an Xperia X10 mini. I had updated it to the latest 2.1 update a month back. All my contacts, settings etc were backed up in my 2GB SD card (which came along with the phone) using the back up and restore software within the phone. Recently my phone's earspeaker was not functioning and i took it to the service centre for repair( it was within the warranty period) where they removed the SD card without unmounting and gave it to me. After the repair when i inserted my Sd card it wont work. My phone says "SD card removed. Insert a new one." It would recognise any other card except mine. it is not working on my computer either (computer doesn't recognise it at all). I have all my Contacts and other files in it.

i brought a xperia active 2 days ago,but haveing issues connecting a sd card to it (the original supplied in phone, plus 2 others...) have tried reseting(return to factory,loose all data reset aswell), restarting and what not but dont know what else to do?

My MicroSD card in my Xperia is currently not working. It suddenly didn't worked! I checked the memory card on my laptop and tried to reformat it, but it says, "Disk is Write Protected". I cannot reformat it also using other Cellphones.

I just got my sony ecrisson x10 mini today and everything works apart from the sd memory card, its saying its blank or has unsupported filesystem, is this a common error with this type of phone, or is the phone faulty as it works in my partners htc wildfire.

I have problem with Xperia mini pro (Black, sk17i). Phone have often restarts when the display going to turns off. I working without SIM card and with swiched on WiFi. The same thing I saw when I haven't signal from operator.

I have a computer with OS Mandriva Linux Free 2010. When I connect my Defy with the usb cable to the computer, phone display switch on, but usb-notifier in the top of it do not appear and charging is not starting.

I have had this happen a few times. I have a custom ringtone for my Alarm Clock. I put it in a folder on the SD Card: media/alarms. When I hook up the phone through USB to organize or add/delete files using a computer, the next morning my alarm clock has defaulted to an on-phone ringtone. I was used to my sounds being different while I have the SD card actively unmounted, but the settings were always maintained when I returned.

I've been having problems with my phone recently, it doesn't recieve some text messages or show my missed calls. A friend suggested that it may just need updating, which made sense because I'd been getting update notifications, just hadn't got round to hooking my ohone up to my laptop. So I did just that and installed the 'companion' but when I try to update, it's asking me to insert a memory card. I've never taken it out! Not once. So i've turned the phone off and on again, as you do.

i have had my sony ericsson xperia 10 mini pro for nearly 2 months now, recently though i cannot play any music or use the camera because it keeps saying please insert memory card even though there is a memory card in,which has been working fine up until now. I have searched long and hard for an answer to this - perhaps it is obvious to everyone else.I want to put a larger sd card in and X10 mini. Is this the correct way?
1 select sd card in settings on the X10 then select unmount sd card.2 take out the card with the phone still switched on since I can't remove the battery there is no obvious way to depower it
3 put card in my pc's card reader and copy its contents to a folder on the pc (using copy and paste?), I have seen some mention of hidden files - is there any trick here?
4 put the new sd card in the pc and copy the stored contents onto it
5 put the card into the X10
6 what now - how do I get the x10 to accept the new card?

I recieved my Xperia mini today and I have a problem with the SIM card slot. When I try to push the SIM card into the slot only about the first three millimeters go in and then it blocks, almost as if something was was already in there.I take it that the SIM should normaly just slip in to the slot with only slight resistance. Am I missing something or have i been unlucky and the slot has a defect?The SIM is in the correct position and the right way round.

1- How to install applications on SD Card (Xperia X10 Mini Pro)? No matter how I install application either from android market or from unknown sources, the application get installed on phone and not on SD Card. How to install application on my SD card.2-Problem is memory shortage, I had to un install previous applications for new one because I get message "application could not be viewed. I should say my Sony Ericsson Xperia Mini Pro SK17i is awesom(except for the battery life)..Now i want something regarding my internal memory..Whenever i installed apps, it is installed into the Internal Memory by default..Although i can move some of the apps into SD Card, most of the apps are **** Stubborn.I even tried apps2SD, which doesn't quite answer my need...What i want is how to store in SD Card by default for all Apps...Is there any hack(maybe without rooting) for this.

Since last 4-5 days, I am seeing that whenever I connect my phone to my laptop (using usb), the phone restart and during this time I will have access to memory card for few seconds (30 sec), after that the card gets unmounted (from PC) and I will see a warning symbol (yellow triangle) on phone's notification bar. So I am unable to copy data to and from my phone. All this trouble started since I upgraded to 2.1 Note: I have checked the memory card by putting it to another phone and it works fine.
