Xperia Mini/pro :: Internal Memory Is Full But It Isn't?
Nov 19, 2012On my Xperia Mini Pro I had some large mp3 files which I deleted to make room for lots of photo's and videos, this worked fine. Once the space was filled, the files were synchronised with Dropbox and I deleted them to create new space however the memory amount is still low at 40MB and telling me that the memory is full?

Aug 28, 2012I have a Neo L , with a 2GB SD card on it. when I connect it to PC and see properties of the SD card it says it is full(1.8 GB is used) , but when I sumerize the volume of all the folders of SD card one by one it is aroung 900MB. also i checked the volume of my apps and is not more than 500MB.

Jun 29, 2012I've been having problems with my phone recently, it doesn't recieve some text messages or show my missed calls. A friend suggested that it may just need updating, which made sense because I'd been getting update notifications, just hadn't got round to hooking my ohone up to my laptop. So I did just that and installed the 'companion' but when I try to update, it's asking me to insert a memory card. I've never taken it out! Not once. So i've turned the phone off and on again, as you do.

1 select sd card in settings on the X10 then select unmount sd card.2 take out the card with the phone still switched on since I can't remove the battery there is no obvious way to depower it
3 put card in my pc's card reader and copy its contents to a folder on the pc (using copy and paste?), I have seen some mention of hidden files - is there any trick here?
4 put the new sd card in the pc and copy the stored contents onto it
5 put the card into the X10
6 what now - how do I get the x10 to accept the new card?

Aug 29, 2012I recieved my Xperia mini today and I have a problem with the SIM card slot. When I try to push the SIM card into the slot only about the first three millimeters go in and then it blocks, almost as if something was was already in there.I take it that the SIM should normaly just slip in to the slot with only slight resistance. Am I missing something or have i been unlucky and the slot has a defect?The SIM is in the correct position and the right way round.

Sep 25, 2010Since last 4-5 days, I am seeing that whenever I connect my phone to my laptop (using usb), the phone restart and during this time I will have access to memory card for few seconds (30 sec), after that the card gets unmounted (from PC) and I will see a warning symbol (yellow triangle) on phone's notification bar. Aug 30, 2011I have trouble with the phone recognizing my memory card - the card is SanDisk 16GB, class 10. I've lost the card I got with the phone, so I got this one. At first, it would say "Insert card", like it wasn't there, but the phone knew when I would remove it. A few times I'd get "Card damaged" message, the other times "Card is empty or not supported filesystem". 2 times I managed to get to work, but trying to take a picture crashed the camera app. I've tried formatting it several times. Right now, it's not reading the card at all. I can't check the card with my PC, since I don't have a card reader. It's getting really annoying, since I can't use the phone for almost anything. I've updated my phone to the latest software, but still nothing.

Dec 2, 2010Ok, so I still have the songs I had b4 I've downloaded the 2.1 OS; when I look into the X10 Mini, the "AVAILABLE ROOM" seems to have gotten bigger; but I also have many times in which the phone says: "no SD card found" or"no available storage" and such, regardless all my songs are there(not sure where!), and the "SD and storage" still shows the amount of memory like - Total room: 3.67GB and Available room: 3.11GB; considering I only had about 1.70GB left pryor to the 2.1 OS update!!!
