I have a Neo L , with a 2GB SD card on it. when I connect it to PC and see properties of the SD card it says it is full(1.8 GB is used) , but when I sumerize the volume of all the folders of SD card one by one it is aroung 900MB. also i checked the volume of my apps and is not more than 500MB.

When I go to messages >options and then the SMS section there is no option to check or uncheck for saving SMS to SIM card. Please do NOT give me those same instructions again. "sim card is full.please delete some SMS text message" I go into the SMS inbox folder and delete messages, then the message disappears untill a few days later. I shouldn't have to keep doing this. I didn't have to do it on my Blackberry Curve. I know all of the forums say go into Options and uncheck Leave SMS text on sim card, but I do not have that option when I goto Options. Is there anyone else that doesn't have this option on their BB Torch? Is there a fix for this? Other than having to manually delete the messages every few days
View 9 Replies View RelatedI have an SD card the says "MICRO HC 8GB co8G Taiwan". It has a little circle that has a "4" in it. My Droid X2 is reading it as a 4 GB card and says it's full even though most of my apps are in the internal memory. When downloading app data it says there's enough room. When I removed the SD card, there are a number of apps that are checking as being on the SD card. When I "Move to media area" it changes to "Move to phone" which suggests that it just move the app to the SD card...which in not in the phone!
Is this a programing problem with the phone where it's not finding the SD card at all, or is this a faulty SD card?

I am getting a SIM card full notification just about daily. I have noticed no functionality failure. I have deleted all contacts from the SIM card. The phone at preset has exactly two SMS messges showing in handcent and is displaying about 15 emails in the gmail applet. I am sure I am missing something.

View 3 Replies View RelatedBelow is a relisting of a current problem I have not managed to fix.I have the latest firmware installed on my N97, but after the latest upgrade (clean install was done, mass mem refromatted, hard reset, etc') On checking over the phone I started getting messages that the Mass mem' was full (Not so) I eventually traced it to my 8 gig mem' card, (is coming up with the message that the memory card is corrupt, I have now tried 3 different mem' cards) cos after this was removed the phone worked perfectly again, I tried reformatting the card via the pc , same problem when the card was put back in, tried a brand new card , same problem, lastly tried a known working 4 gig mem' card, same problem?

Today, I have spent hours and hours trying to "add" my Contacts via the Sim Card to the Vivaz. It wont work and I keep getting a Fashing Envelope to say the Sim Card is full I have 4 messages from my old phone in the message box. View 2 Replies View RelatedAfter over 2 monhts heavy usavge, I'm quite happy with my E72 so far, except for some memory leak issues.I did get a bit annoyed by the fact that the auto-lock feature cannot be set for more than 20 minutes. One of the resons I got the E72 was the strong RAM+Card encryption but I expected it to be a bit more flexible.It is true that having a forced lock timeout helps protect your device (you'd forget to lock it sometimes) but there are certain occasions where I find this extremely annoying. For instance:
-When I am at home I find no need to have it locked all the time.
-When I am at work and the phone is always next to me, I find annoying that it auto-locks every 20 minutes when I'm using it as an audio player - makes you have to unlock when you want to interact
-In certain applications, it is annoying that it autolocks and you can't interact. One example is Sygic Mobile GPS software that crashes when it locks. With other software it would be annoying too as you'd be locked and unable to interact with the phone in any trip taking longer than 20 minutes.So I have two suggestions
-Make the maximum lock delay a bit longer - for instance 60 minutes.
and/or
Give us an option similar to what you get in timed Profiles, for instance, "Stay unlocked until hh:mm" - This would be handy when you're home and well... no one is going to steal your phone/access it/lose it.
I received my new Nokia 5800XM yesterday and was told in-store that the GPS would work automatically. So went home and tried it for the first time, it discovered my position in under 5 minutes, and I was super excited as I got the phone solely for the purpose of navigating my way around the new city I had just moved to. However, when selected the "drive", "walk" or "search" options it didn't give any results for my searches for addresses. I tried a bunch of variations on the names of places and even used google maps as a reference of how to write out the addresses but it has a standard "no results found" every time. It also jumps between "searching online" and "searching offline". I visited the Nokia website to see if I could find a solution, and subsequently upgraded the software on my phone, downloaded the maps installer, the map loader and the multimedia transfer. I then deleted all the existing maps and installed the map for my country and a voice.
It is still, despite having no problem with connectivity, not giving me any search results. Is there some place that you set the phone to search the maps installed on the memory card? As I think that the phone searches online and the connectivity might be interrupted? really have no clue about these things. searched everywhere and couldn't find setting for this. I can scroll through the map and manually select a place, after which the GPS works fine except - the voice isn't working! Does it talk out loud? or do you need your headphones? This is fine if you're going somewhere that you know, but that's kind of defeating the point of having GPS, no? Another small problem is that I have a constant flashing little envelope in the right top corner, it says that "SIM card is full" - but I can't find a directory for the SIM card? It's been flashing since the moment I put the SIM in the phone, but never did it with my old phone. Any idea where I can access the SIM information and delete some of it?
