Jul 17, 2012
My new BB curve 9360 is saying "Sim Card full please delete SMS". I have done the following:Checked for an option to change SMS to be stored to Sim card to no avail (cant find that option)Placed sim card in another phone to check what was on it and it was empty.

I am using Curve 9360 which I bought recently. Love this handset for its sleekiest design, I rate this best among all BB phones.Recently I hit into an issue where my phone's device memory (reportedly 32 MB) is full. I thought this phone has inbuilt memory of 512 MB.When I go Media, check for Memory use using BB pin, it shows me Media Card and Built-in Memory Storage.
I am surprised to see Built-in Memory storage of only 32 MB and that is also 100%, of which 24MB was occupied by Pictures.
I haven't stored any of the downloaded or camera pictures on device memory. These 24MB is essentially from this folder "/Device/home/user/appworld/img/screenshots/". Under this folder there are many folders with 4~5 digits numbered and has many small pictures, essentially screenshots from app world.First, can I delete these folders in order free up device memory?Second, can I re-route these to memory card such these screenshots are not saved on device memory atleast?Third, how do I check 512 MB inbuilt memory usage stats for curve 9360?

I get the message SIM card full delete SMS messages every time I use texting. I have followed the directions on the website. I have a 9810 with version 7 software. When I go to messages >options and then the SMS section there is no option to check or uncheck for saving SMS to SIM card. Please do NOT give me those same instructions again. How can I stop this otherwise? I don't have very manytext messages saved at all.

I keep getting the message "SIM card full please delete SMS messages". I've gone into options under TEXT messages and there is no option to check or uncheck "save on SIM card. I've had this issue since I bought the 9810. I did not have the same issue with the 9800 that I had before.

I'm having a strange problem with my BlackBerry browser. I have deleted the history and cleared the cache in the browser, but links on webpages are still showing up as purple (i.e., visited) even after the history and cache have been cleared.

I got a blackberry 9360 for my birthday in July, the phone worked fine for basically a week so I got it repaired in a shop costing me £60 it worked for a while and now the same problem is occurring. When I have both the sim card and the memory card inserted neither of them are reading, it's saying "Insert SIM Card" & "Media Card is not currently inserted in the device" which is extremely annoying.Everything else works fine the camera, wi-fi, but i can't use my network whatsoever nor record videos etc because it's claming to have no media card inserted whatsoever!

I am wanting to know is there a way to delete multiple email messages or normal messages for that matter at one time.If i receive like 20 emails, do I really need to delete each one individually? As it's major painful. Even my old dilapidated cell phone could delete mutiple messages at once.

No, I did not back up the device before deleting.Yes, I tried a couple different free and basic undelete softwares and none of these documents were identified. One blog I saw said it is not possible to retrieve such deleted docs but I am hopeful this is not the case.

have a BB 9300 curve an downloaded music files to the music folder. Everything played and was working fine.I then uploaded and deleted some music files through the bb pc software via the usb cable. Now everything seems corrupted and none works properly. The files are in the play list, but I can't play or delete them. The main screen also shows that there are 12 songs in the library, but there are only 8 (of which none work)

I've had my Curve 8900 for a long time now and I've never had this problem until now. I realized yesterday that when I deleted hundreds of photos from my SD card, there were 'empty' files still sitting in my photo album on my bb.. (icon is of a piece of paper with a drawing of mountains and a sun, with a green arrow pointing to the left) Sorry, this is my first post so I can't post a photo
When I look in my SD card on my computer, all the files I deleted are gone.So I tried formatting my SD card to completely erase everything and start over. I formatted it on both my computer and my blackberry. But the weird files are still sitting in my photo album!Does anyone know how I can get rid of them?

I know this has been discussed lots before but I can't seem to "find" a solution that works for me.The N97 phone memory 64MB shows full but when I look at it under Explorer I can only see about 25Mb of material.Where is the rest of the memory going to? I have gone through all the folders and files via expoler and can't find anything bigger than 2MB except Maps at 9MB. When I add them all up it comes to just over 25MB.Any tips on what I could move to the Mass Memory delete to free up some memory. As far as I can tell everything that can run off the Mass Memory is already there (text messages, images, music, apps etc). Are there some sort of log files or crash files that I could delete without hurting the phones operating system?

I have a LG Xenon GR500 phone and whenever I try to send or receive files via MMS my phone tells me "My Stuff Folder is Full - Delete files". I am using a 2GB memory card and all defaults are set to this folder. I have moved everything from Ringtones to Pictures to the memory card and deleted every single nonessential file from the phone. When checking the Phone Common memory, it shows 179886KB in use and 108KB free. 170900KB is listed as "Others" and when I go to the "Other Files" folder, it is empty. I have done a Master Reset on the phone and I am at my wits end with this thing. Does ANYONE have any idea whats going on here?

When I used swipe with my s4, backspace would delete the full word after a swipe.. can I make my lg do this? It sucks having to backspace 5x to delete a mis-swyped word.
I'm mute & 1 handed, so i talk with my phone.. It isn't fun having to sit there pressing backspace 9x instead of 1x then just reswyping. I like the in-house keyboard because of the 1 handed option- it is very nice.. but, if this can't be done with the stock keyboard, I guess I'll have to use the full size google kb...

Every few days I keep getting this message. "sim card is full.please delete some SMS text message" I go into the SMS inbox folder and delete messages, then the message disappears untill a few days later. I shouldn't have to keep doing this. I didn't have to do it on my Blackberry Curve. I know all of the forums say go into Options and uncheck Leave SMS text on sim card, but I do not have that option when I goto Options. Is there anyone else that doesn't have this option on their BB Torch? Is there a fix for this? Other than having to manually delete the messages every few days

I have an SD card the says "MICRO HC 8GB co8G Taiwan". It has a little circle that has a "4" in it. My Droid X2 is reading it as a 4 GB card and says it's full even though most of my apps are in the internal memory. When downloading app data it says there's enough room. When I removed the SD card, there are a number of apps that are checking as being on the SD card. When I "Move to media area" it changes to "Move to phone" which suggests that it just move the app to the SD card...which in not in the phone!
Is this a programing problem with the phone where it's not finding the SD card at all, or is this a faulty SD card?
