Galaxy S6 Edge :: Call Notification Icon Not Disappear From Notification Bar Not Even After Restart
Nov 3, 2015The call notification icon will not disappear from the notification bar not even after restart or shut down.
I mention I have closed all apps from multi tasking and it still did not disappear
I would post a screenshot but the app crashes if do that.
Galaxy S6 :: App Optimization After Updating
Oct 25, 2015So I got an update on my international version S6 gold platinum. It was about 70mb in size. After updating I didn't really notice anything different until when my phone gave me a notification or a reminder to optimise the apps I'm not using.
It took me to
Smart manager > battery > optimization
And there it was, a "Doze" like feature which puts apps to sleep if you want them to. After a certain period of time if left unused.

I've noticed an improvement in battery life ever since. I put all the apps on optimization which I don't use much often.

Nov 18, 2015On my Galaxy S5, every couple of days, I get a push notification called "App optimisation". "Save battery power by optimising the power usage of apps" ......
I don't want this notification, ever. Normally, the way to get rid of unwanted push notifications on Android is to long tap the notification which brings up the App Info, and then you untick "Show notifications". However, I cannot do that this time, as the "Show notifications" tickbox is ticked, but greyed out, so I cannot untick it.
How else can I get rid of this annoying, intrusive notification?

Sep 7, 2015I've always hated Messenger's "Chat Heads" thing, and disable it as soon as possible. I just upgraded to a Galaxy S6 edge+ though, and once I disabled Chat Heads, I started getting these irritating notification windows. They show up nomatter what I'm doing, even if it's a game or something that takes up the whole screen. I can't find any way to get rid of them short of disabling notifications for the app entirely, which I don't want to do... I want to be notified of new messages with a chime/vibration and with an icon in the top status bar, I just don't want this window appearing all over whatever I'm doing! Sep 17, 2015I just bought my Samsung galaxy s6 edge 5 days ago it's been working fine up until today. When I received a text message it didn't make the sound so I thought my phone was on vibrate or silent but it wasn't so then I went to settings and checked my notification setting and when I clicked the sound it didn't make a sound. So then I checked if I could hear the ringtone and I also couldn't hear. Mind you the volume is all the way up. So I decided to restart my phone and the sound worked gain but after a while the sound went away again and idk what is causing it.

May 18, 2015I am on Sprint and I am unable to send a MMS (group message) over wifi? I was chatting with Sprint text support and they are trying to tell me this is a limitation for Android phones. I know this is BS because my wife has a HTC M8. Am I doing something wrong? Are others experiencing this with their Edge S6?
Their solution is to send MMS messages over mobile data. I do not think it is acceptable to have to toggle between mobile and wifi to send group messages. I did test and the group/MMS messaging does work on Mobile data so this is purely limited to my wifi being an issue...

I've noticed that the phone heats up a lot when under a heavy load, which I understand, but when I'm holding it, it feels like it could almost burn me. The phone is not overheating, although when it does heat up I do notice the performance drop. None of this is a dealbreaker, I just wanted to know, is it normal for the phone to get so hot? Is it just because the phone's outer casing is metal and glass rather than plastic that it feels like this?
