Sep 14, 2015I just got a Samsung s6 edge and I am wondering if there's a way to put apps like whats'app instagram etc on the edge. You can do that on the note edge but I can't seem to figure it out on the s6 edge.

Jul 13, 2015Google Calendar, and my phone app keeps opening on their own randomly. Every once and awhile my text messaging (Textra) or Dashlane will open.
It only opens however when the screen is shut off and I unlock the phone using my finger.
I don't know why its doing this and its so random.

Sep 7, 2015I downloaded tons of apps for my galaxy s6 edge 64 gb so i made groups according to the app type but yesterday i went to a snow park where the temperature was like -7°C so when we got out, it showed that my sim card was removed so i restarted it. When it switched on, all those groups were gone except one which had facebook, tumblr and vine. When i see my installed apps on the play store, it shows all of them (the apps which disappeared) are still installed. They also appear in the app manager.

May 10, 2015Long time iPhone user and just transitioned to Android. Just got a Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge and it's been quite a learning experience so far. So is there a way to lock the homescreen and the apps that are displayed there? The wife is having a problem where she can just be holding her phone in her palm and when she looks at her phone the next time, most of her apps are missing. Is there anyway you can lock the apps in place? I know with the iphone there are a few things needed to make apps disappear (hold icon, hit "X", tap on DELETE. All pretty specific spots within the screen that need to be tapped.

Jul 27, 2015I have had my galaxy s6 edge for a few months and I love it. Just recently, though, I have been experiencing some issues. My phone gets very hot and a notification pops us that says "Closing apps to cool down", all of my unnecessary apps close and then my home-screen image changes to the default. This has happened about 3 times and I am wondering if it may be a defect in my phone. Ever since this issue started my battery life has been terrible it only lasts about 6-7 hours. I wipe cache pretty much every week and I am on Verizon.

Jul 14, 2015I got a Galaxy S6 Edge a couple of weeks ago. Everything was as it should be until a few days ago. The phone icon went missing and it's not listed with in the apps area/drawer. However, when I check under Application Manager, its shows three phone applications which seem to be dupes. They can't be uninstalled or disabled. I've done force close and restarted the phone but no luck. I'm using Nova Launcher. I just got the the phone set-up the way I wanted so the the thought of a factory reset makes me queasy.

May 18, 2015I am on Sprint and I am unable to send a MMS (group message) over wifi? I was chatting with Sprint text support and they are trying to tell me this is a limitation for Android phones. I know this is BS because my wife has a HTC M8. Am I doing something wrong? Are others experiencing this with their Edge S6?
Their solution is to send MMS messages over mobile data. I do not think it is acceptable to have to toggle between mobile and wifi to send group messages. I did test and the group/MMS messaging does work on Mobile data so this is purely limited to my wifi being an issue...

Cooler master software says phones temperature is about 38 c.

Aug 10, 2015I just got the S6 Edge today and set it up. I've noticed that the phone heats up a lot when under a heavy load, which I understand, but when I'm holding it, it feels like it could almost burn me. The phone is not overheating, although when it does heat up I do notice the performance drop. None of this is a dealbreaker, I just wanted to know, is it normal for the phone to get so hot? Is it just because the phone's outer casing is metal and glass rather than plastic that it feels like this?

As it turns out, the 3rd party app was buggy, so I removed it. I want to re-add the default S6 Edge weather widget to my home screen, but I can't find it.
I'm using Nova on ATT BTW. It seems that the widgets visible using Nova are slightly different from the widgets available using Touchwiz. How to re-add the default S6 edge weather widget?

However, it is updating when I get an email to my junk email. Over the last couple days I've had a couple loaner phones (due to my provider sending the wrong phones) and the S5 I had was vibrating when I got emails but neither the S6 or S6 Edge (which I have now) would vibrate for emails.
