View 1 RepliesAll of a sudden, I see voicemails on my phone but the S5 will not ring when someone calls. I have the volume up.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI can call out on my phone but it does not ring or display when someone calls me. I do however get a message if one is left but no notification that there is a voice mail ...
View 1 Replies View RelatedWhen someone calls me and I want to answer the call by swiping the green button I got nothing even I can't end the call by swiping the red button or even by pressing the lock key. I have to wait until the caller ends the call and then I call him back.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a S2 on UK Vodafone contract even though I am currently living in NZ. My phone is a UK model.UK Vodafone have terminated the Passport service as of 1st November which means I now go on to NZ roaming which at 1.65/NZ$3.30 a minute is somewhat steep - I also pay that amount for the incoming call.I now need to block all incoming calls on my phone so as I am not tempted to answer calls at odd times of the day or night (quite hard when we are 13 hours ahead of UK and totally out of sync with them) and pay extortionate amounts of money BUT I need to leave the phone available to make and receive text messages. It is not as easy as to just get a NZ phone contract as this was my life line with friends and family in UK until my provider pulled the passport service so need to disable the phone I have.how to do this so as I can still send/receive text but NOT receive voice calls on my S2?

View 1 Replies View RelatedThe phone vibrates when audio is playing even through bluetooth. It's moving around my desk while Pandora is playing. How do I turn this vibration off? I already took off the Haptic feedback and all the feedback for that matter.

Provider: Sprint
Issue: For the last week, I have been missing almost all of my incoming calls. It rings from in/from the calling phone, but nothing comes through on my phone. This started at the same time that my outbound texts started hour-glassing (green/blue rotating circle) for 30-90 seconds before sending - some texts "fail to send" altogether. Also, sometimes when surfing the internet (Chrome and apps) on the network (full bars of 4G LTE), websites don't load - they time out. This has always happened (very occasionally) but seems to happen a lot more often since the texting/calling issues have surfaced.
Attempts to fix: I have updated my PRL. I have ensured that my 'network mode' was still in LTE/CDMA. I have reset settings back to pre-set using ##72786#. I have taken my phone to a Sprint store and was told that they only thing they could recommend was to factory-reboot my phone but that it probably wouldn't fix the issues.
Other notes: I have not downloaded any new apps around the time the issues came about. Also, turning my "network mode" to CDMA seems to fix the incoming call problem (but then I don't have 4G)
I have a Samsung Galaxy s6 and as of this morning I cannot see when I have an incoming call or accept the call. I only am aware of the incoming call by the ringtone followed by the a missed call being added to the log. I have changed the setting to now let me answer the call by hitting the home key however, I cannot see who Is at the other end of the incoming call. If I make a outgoing call I no longer have the call screen appear.
View 5 Replies View Related1 or 2 out of 10 incoming calls, I am UNABLE to answer, the swiping right action just doesn't seem to work, the phone stops ringing but the screen keeps displaying the answer/ reject screen, like the one in the middle below:
I have even chosen to use the HOME button to answer incoming calls (the picture on the left above) but it doesn't work either... (I can't answer by swiping or hitting the home key).

Lately my S5 will not accept incoming calls. If someone calls me (particularly from a cell phone number) and I answer, it 'Accepts' the call but immediately ends the call. Meaning, it goes from the slide to unlock and then go the call screen but the call ends right away.
If I call from my house phone, a VoIP landline, my S5 will allow that call with no issues. I've had multiple people try calling from different cell phone carriers and iOS or android phones, and each time it's the same result.
I have tried using the Home Key to answer the call, and still get the same thing. I have tried rebooting my phone, clearing cache partition, factory resets, WiFi calling on/off, roaming or not roaming, 4G or 3G, power saving on/off, updating my profile and prl, and all motion gestures are turned off. I've verified I'm not blocking any calls from within the call settings.

I have a samsung galaxy 6 and all incoming calls are setting my ringtone to mute. I put my ringtone volume as high as it will go. Then I call my phone. Sometimes it will ring once with volume before it magically sets my ringtone to mute, but regardless, ever incoming call sets my ringtone to mute by the 2nd or 3rd ring.
I've turned gestures off.
I have no updates for the phone.
No recently added apps.
Power saving is turned off.
WHEN A CALL COMES IN AND I TRY TO ANSWER I IMMEDIATELY LOSE THE CALL.
I have set the Home button to answer calls and I could lose them that way OR if while using the phone and I get the little window from an incoming call with ANSWER or REJECT and I hit ANSWER I can lose call that way also.
My S5 has been answering calls automatically. My phone rings once then the call is picked up without me touching the phone. It's terrible. When the phone answer's you can't hear the caller. And on the other end (if you're calling me) it still rings and then goes to vm. I did have the auto answer setting on before when you wave your hand over it. I thought that was it so I turned it off but it's still messed up. I'm stock on 4.4.4
View 24 Replies View RelatedWhy calls coming in to my One M8 are always displayed as "anonymous" in Caller ID (except for my own labelled Contacts, of course), while the same calls sent to my Oneplus One show up with full Caller ID?
The M8 is straight from TMO and unlocked. The unrooted OPO obviously has nothing to do with TMO bloatware apart from the SIM card inside it.
I own a LG G4 mobile phone. When someone phones me, a message pops up telling me: "Unfortunately, phone stopped". How can I get this to disappear from my screen. (I can phone anybody but they can't phone me)
View 1 Replies View RelatedI received a new Samsung S5 4 days ago and hadn't noticed until now that incoming calls weren't getting through, when I tried calling my mobile from a different number it was saying that the phone wasn't connected. Fix - re-seat the sim card - Worked for about 2 minutes and was successfully receiving incoming calls, then I noticed that every call I made to the mobile went to the answer machine so called Virgin mobile back. Fix - Go into settings and remove reference to LTE as follows (I am on a 3G contract)
. Settings
. More networds
. Mobile networks
. Network mode
. Select WCDMA/GSM (auto connect) – The default is 'LTE/WCDMA/GSM' and as I don't have LTE was told to switch this off
This fix worked for another 2 minutes, and then I noticed that every incoming call went to the answer machine, so I called back...
Fix - Turn off wifi
Incoming calls work fine now, and every time I turn on wifi they go to answer machine. It appears to be a little intermittent, but I can reproduce the issue fairly consistently when turning the wifi (in the settings) on and off.
Everytime I have an incoming call a voice announces that I have a call from an unknown number and the proceeds to inform me to accept please press 1 or press 2 to send it to voicemail. I also get an email from Google Voice that I have a pending voice mail.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI have had this phone (Curve 8330) for about 3 years. In the past 2 weeks the only way I can hear an incoming caller is to turn on the speaker function. The call comes through fine when I do that. I have tried pulling the battery several times, but this does not correct the problem. The phone works fine otherwise and I really don't want to replace it.
View 6 Replies View RelatedSo as soon as I touch the screen to answer it rejects the call. 1/20 i manage to answer but that is at home testing it out. From pocket IRL , impossible to answer.
Turned in the phone for repairs, and **bleep** me the tab at the SIM was bright red. .
But that's in the upper left corner, the reject call thingie is in the bottom right corner. I will probably just get the phone back in same condition in like Xweeks since the red sticker.
The touchscreen works perfect during games and such and its not the blacks creen problem, it just rejects them calls!
I've had a brand new Xperia Z3 less than a week and I can see when I am getting an incoming call. But, if I'm texting at the time, although I can see the call notification I can't respond to it and the buttons disappear from the bottom of the screen. The slide down options from the top of the screen also disappear. The phone just freezes and I have to restart the phone every time. I don't know if it's doing this with other apps, or whether it's just the messaging app.
View 10 Replies View RelatedI bought a Sony Xperia Z3V phone on Verizon online and it works awesome but it has one issue. Lately, my friend texts me and says he's going to call me and I say ok. I wait for his call but never rings. He texts me and says he called me twice but my phone never rang at all! So I got my house phone and called myself but it didn't ring neither! I called myself 4 times and no incoming call at all! I left myself a voicemail and it did went through. Now here's the kicker, I have to make a phone call in order for the incoming calls to go through.... I tested that by calling my voicemail or house phone.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI have a blackberry curve 8330. The vibrate works well, but anytime I set the phone to normal or loud, it will not ring at all. I can hear the ringtones phone in the media section quite clearly but that's all. I have tried switching ringtones, I have checked all my settings, I have taken the battery out and put it back in, the phone is not on mute. I have even downloaded my own ringtone to the phone and that doesn't work either.

1- clearing the data of smart connect
2- clearing the data of enhancment sounds
3- raising the sound volume and checking the X-Loud

My Sony Xperia Z3 Compact, with the latest updates, is dying _sometimes_, whenever I receive a call or dial someone. It is not always reproducible, but I managed to reproduce it while it was attached to LogCat, so here's the exception:

I'm currently using E72-1 , V 031.023 Alot of times, when i get an incoming calls, my phone freezes once i click the accept button, it freezes for like 20 seconds, then either accepts the call, or hangs up. Also, when i dial a number using the keypad, there is a delay, like, it takes 1-3 seconds between each number i press to display on the screen. I tried soft resetting, hard resetting, both fixes the issue for the 1st few hours, then both issues happen agai
