Google Nexus 5 :: Update To 4.4.3 - Change Default Notification Tone To None?
Jun 8, 2014I noticed with the update to 4.4.3 when you change the default notification tone to none, hangout's notification then defaults to hangouts notification rather than no notification. I'm not sure if this effects all apps. On 4.4.2 it would just be silent. I had to add a silence notification to my sdcard internal memory to have a silent notification.

Oct 31, 2015Sometimes I receive Twitter notifications not just appearing in the notification bar but also as a pop-up over the top of what I'm looking at the time. It get's annoying after a while.Is there any way to stop the pop-up notifications from appearing? I still want to receive Twitter notifications via the notification bar.

May 5, 2015i have the S6 and was setting up Message+ as my default SMS/MMS app, when I attempted to change the notification tone. The dialogue box popped up and asked me if I wanted to use Zedge or Media Storage. Since I only have one tone in Zedge right now, I chose Media Storage. This is where it went wrong...instead of hitting "Just Once" as the option, I hit "Always". Now, every time I want to change the notification tone, I can only pick from the default Media Storage options. I want the bring back the option to be able to chose from either Zedge or Media Storage.

Jun 14, 2010So the 'Normal' profile of my 9700 (Phone) is set up to play ALWAYS simply because it is on my desk in the office, it is not in the holster, and I want to hear when it rings.
I also have a ring tone that I downloaded (not the default).I noticed that when the phone is in the holster and it rings, as soon as I take it out from the holster the ring tonne changes from the one I set up to the default AT&T ring tone.

Fortunately the phone was under warranty, but I lost all dataMy phone got upgraded to ICS. "Pure Tone" continues to play until the offending notification is acknowledged. What is causing this to reset and how do I make it stop?

No issues.ast week I changed this default ring tone to be a different MP3 snippet.What I am finding is that any contact that is set to 'default ring tone' now plays a Motorola electroni telephone ring sound instead of the new default ring tone.Im looking for a way to correct this globally. Mar 26, 2014Not getting Twitter notifications on Icon? I have the toast/push notifications turned on. For some reason, whenever I go to settings to make sure they're turned on, I get a notification at the top of the screen that says,
Twitter was unable to create a push notification channel. Please ensure network connectivity and try restarting the app.
I'm on full-service 4G LTE and have also tried just using perfectly fine wifi.
Noticed this a week or two ago and now I don't get toast notifications or live tile updates unless I turn off my phone and then upon restarting I get flooded with all of the notifications since my last turn off.
Also, using the official Twitter app.
