How can I find those default ringing tone in my phone and delete them? for example, at profiles> personalise> ringing tone there's a list of my sound track some are stored in memory card and some default (Chipper.aac, Diplex.aac..Etc) stored in phone memory. There is another mp4 file (freeheart.mp4) which I cannot find anywhere else except in the profile personalisation. Cannot be found in the file manager too.

I have a problem in setting ring tone and message tone.When i trying to set ringing tone or message alert tone in the Profiles(General) it showing an error message as "Not enough memory to show all ringing tones. only tones in read only memory will be displayed". But my phone memory has 50.1 MB free space and My memory card has 1.2 GB memory space.

The phone will not use this ringtone , so I went to Settings / General /Personalisation / Tones / ringing tone and if I make this tone same as Profiles then all my calls go to Voicemail. View 6 Replies View RelatedI purchased a nokia n97 mini phone a couple of days ago, and im annoyed with the built in dude voice "Martin" that keeps talking whenever i get a call and my ringing tone starts off.. it just lowers it and pronounces the name of the caller with this robot way of talking.
I cant seem to disable it cuz i cannot neither delete it, lower its volume to 0 nor find a "turn off" option in the "Settings -> Phone -> Speech
So the 'Normal' profile of my 9700 (Phone) is set up to play ALWAYS simply because it is on my desk in the office, it is not in the holster, and I want to hear when it rings.
I also have a ring tone that I downloaded (not the default).I noticed that when the phone is in the holster and it rings, as soon as I take it out from the holster the ring tonne changes from the one I set up to the default AT&T ring tone.
Guys, I need your help. I'm facing some problem with my Nokia N97 Ringing Tones. I have set my Ringing Tones to my ideal tones but sometime the ringing tones does not ring in the ideal tones I selected. It become default Nokia Ringing Tones. Anybody can help me. Maybe NOKIA can answer.
View 7 Replies View Relatedi really hope somebody can help, posting on behalf of my husband who has just bought the xpress music 5800, he loves the phone but the one bug bear is that it only rings for 10 seconds before going to voice-mail, i have the same phone and have no problems as my voice-mail switched off but as he relies on v-m for work he needs to have it on! Is there any way of extending the length of time it rings or is it something he is stuck with?

View 8 Replies View RelatedI've had my 5800XM since April lst year and without doubt has been the best phone and easiest to navigate of all the phone's I've ever owned..Until recently.About 3 weeks ago I updated to V31.0.101 and that's when my troubles started.
1. The alarm clock is unreliable. It can go off 2 minutes early, 5 minutes late or not at all.
2. Some SMS messages are not triggering a tone. I can get a message everything is fine, i get the message tone. The next time I look, I've had 3 more messages, but no message tones.
3. Emails. When trying to configure an email account, I'm being prompted to either go online (or maybe verify an online account), but why does it persist in only giving me mobile web and wap as an online option. I try to use Mobile Web and Wap as a last resort.. I have wifi in all my work locations.
4. when i do eventually configure an email account.. it doesn't remeber all the settings, so I have to go back and manually edit the entries.
I have an 5800 xm blue. you could select message tone before but i turned it off only to vibrate. now i got this really cool tone I want to use but when switching msg tones back on it gives me a warning-----not enough memory to display all ringtones, only tones in read-only memory will be displayd. -------- why can't i select and set a msg tone in my music gallery like a ring tone? And how do i get the msg tones to work properly. My phone memory is 48mb free from 86mb?
View 5 Replies View RelatedBasically, when a user dials my number, it rings on their end a few times, and whilst it rings on their side I can see the incoming call displayed on my phone however my phone only starts to play the ringtone after about 3 or 4 rings. This happens no matter what ringtone I choose, and I have increasing ringtone disabled.
I'm not sure if I said all of that right, but I hope you understand. This issue has only been happening when my Wifi is switched on. Currently using, CyanogenMod12 nightly.
I've changed the SIM card, and still it persists. The sim card works fine in other phones.
My phone is constantly on vibrate and won't play ringtones, text tones or keyboard clicks. It does however play the tone for my alarm clock! The tab on the left hand side of the phone is switched to loud and so is the bottom icons where the up menu is hidden (near the screen orientation)Also I have checked and double checked all the settings for tones and they all work fine when I am in it, but as soon as a call comes in it only vibrates!

Right i have had my 5800 for around 3 months now and yesterday i came across a problem,i can recives texts fine but i get no notification, no tone, no vibrate not even the little message icon on the top of the screen,the blinking white light still flashes and i can go into my inbox and see them.

I assigned individual ringtones to my contacts in contact list but when they call, the default ringtone is ringing.Does anyone know how to fix it? I guess this situation accured after I erased everything on my iPhone and installed backup from my computer. I searched everywhere on internet but couldn't find anything, and then this idea came up; I deleted all the assigned rigntones, created a new backup on my computer then deleted all contacts and installed the backup but still when I assign a ringtone to a specific contact it's still ringing default ringtone when she calls.. Btw I also checked for duplication errors, there is only one for each contact..

When I connect my iPhone running 5.01 to my mac vie iTunes, and transfer contacts, it always duplicates the contacts when synching.So if I have a single John Doe entry on both my iPhone and Mac, I now get two.Sometimes it will make 3 or 4 copies.I want to: copy my contact list from my iPhone TO my Mac, and update existing entries on my mac, and add new ones that are on my iPhone and not on the Mac, andtransfer contacts from Mac to iPhone that are new to the iPhone Basically,I have to separate contact lists that I dont want to mix or mesh entirely, and I also want to stop them from duplicating.The User Manual does not address keeping them from duplicating.

i have the S6 and was setting up Message+ as my default SMS/MMS app, when I attempted to change the notification tone. The dialogue box popped up and asked me if I wanted to use Zedge or Media Storage. Since I only have one tone in Zedge right now, I chose Media Storage. This is where it went wrong...instead of hitting "Just Once" as the option, I hit "Always". Now, every time I want to change the notification tone, I can only pick from the default Media Storage options. I want the bring back the option to be able to chose from either Zedge or Media Storage.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI noticed with the update to 4.4.3 when you change the default notification tone to none, hangout's notification then defaults to hangouts notification rather than no notification. I'm not sure if this effects all apps. On 4.4.2 it would just be silent. I had to add a silence notification to my sdcard internal memory to have a silent notification.

No issues.ast week I changed this default ring tone to be a different MP3 snippet.What I am finding is that any contact that is set to 'default ring tone' now plays a Motorola electroni telephone ring sound instead of the new default ring tone.Im looking for a way to correct this globally. What I have done in the mean time is edit a contact, change the ring tone to something else then back to default and it works from that point on.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI've recently bought a Nokia 5800 xm and have been able to connect it to my home internet using the wlan wifi.
I can only use the wifi if i go to settings>connectivity>wlan. If i go straight to internet, it tries to connect to t-mobile internet. This also happens when trying to use applications such as bbc iplayer and the ovi store.
Is there a way of setting the wifi connection as the default connection? If not, is there a way of setting up my applications so they connect using wifi?
