Guys, I need your help. I'm facing some problem with my Nokia N97 Ringing Tones. I have set my Ringing Tones to my ideal tones but sometime the ringing tones does not ring in the ideal tones I selected. It become default Nokia Ringing Tones. Anybody can help me. Maybe NOKIA can answer.

View 3 Replies View RelatedHow can I find those default ringing tone in my phone and delete them? for example, at profiles> personalise> ringing tone there's a list of my sound track some are stored in memory card and some default (Chipper.aac, Diplex.aac..Etc) stored in phone memory. There is another mp4 file (freeheart.mp4) which I cannot find anywhere else except in the profile personalisation. Cannot be found in the file manager too.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI am using E71, which firmware version is 410.21.010. I have a contact which has 2 number (mobile and Telephone) and i have set mobile as default. When i make call from the contacts applicaition it is calling to mobile without showing the number list. But if i call from the homescreen by typing the name, it is showing the number list. I also created new contacts with more than a number and tried, it's not working... And when it shows the number list in the homescreen, pressing the call end button doesn't cancel showing the number list. I have to press the cancel button to cancel the list showing...

View 1 Replies View RelatedI purchased a nokia n97 mini phone a couple of days ago, and im annoyed with the built in dude voice "Martin" that keeps talking whenever i get a call and my ringing tone starts off.. it just lowers it and pronounces the name of the caller with this robot way of talking.
I cant seem to disable it cuz i cannot neither delete it, lower its volume to 0 nor find a "turn off" option in the "Settings -> Phone -> Speech
I assigned individual ringtones to my contacts in contact list but when they call, the default ringtone is ringing.Does anyone know how to fix it? I guess this situation accured after I erased everything on my iPhone and installed backup from my computer. I searched everywhere on internet but couldn't find anything, and then this idea came up; I deleted all the assigned rigntones, created a new backup on my computer then deleted all contacts and installed the backup but still when I assign a ringtone to a specific contact it's still ringing default ringtone when she calls.. Btw I also checked for duplication errors, there is only one for each contact..

I recently got the Samsung R355C from Wal-Mart for use with straight talk. I like it so far. I am having one problem with it that I can not seem to find any help or info for. I am using ring-tones I put on the SD card and every time I shut the phone off it sets the ring-tones back to default. I then have to set my ring-tones again. Does anybody know if there is a way around this? It seems like a stupid thing for the phone to do and its a little annoying.

View 6 Replies View RelatedI have been trying to reach an email setup on my N97 mini that I am happy with and so far have struggled and given up on the hopeless nokia email client, and am now having problems with setting destinations for automatic email retrieval. I have my internet destination set to prioritize to different wlans and then WAP. This is my default connection.
I have a gmail and a pop3 email account, set up for automatic retrieval, however they don't pull in any mail if the access point in use is set to default connection. If its set to WLAN, it works, if its set to contract WAP, it works, and if its set to default connection it works for manual connection but not automatic retrieval.
What makes it worse is I am sure it was set up and working last week? Any thoughts please? I am getting so frustrated with the error prone nature of email on this phone I am thinking of going back to my trusted N95 8GB.
When I get an incoming call I get no ring but just a speaker icon in the top right corner with a bar through it. I have had the phone for 2 years and not had this before. Cant see any problem with settings.

I opened my back up file (.sbf) and was affronted with this error message. "Cannot read selected backup file". I've tried downloading OI file manager and it doesn't open through there either. Like all users of N97 I have a serious problem with the phone memory (C) being full To correct it, I have been using for quite some time (more than 6 months) the E: memory for messages and emails. However, every now and then, without any reason, I get the message that the phone is unable to use the selected memory (E) and it goes back to C. The problems are multiple:
1. It doesn't let me choose the memory I'd like to use, when this appears, and it does this when a new message comes, which is directly stored in C - no options given.
2. Following this, half the messages are stored in one memory and half in the other and (of course) they cannot be moved from the one to the other.........
I'm trying to move a few files around on my memory card whilst the phone is plugged into my pc. There is over a gb of free space on the memory card. I get error: "The selected files could not be copied there is not enough free space on the device".
- I'm moving files, not copying so it shouldn't need any free space.
- Even if it did need free space there is more than enough available on the card.
How can I move files around?
I wanted to download the maps. But the PC Ovi Suite is just busy forever, without downloading anything (I used Performance Monitor to find out it was doing nothing for hours).As I have unlimited data plan from my phone, I decided to try updating directly from the phone instead. It successfully downloaded the list of maps, but when I selected one of them"No Wi-Fi network available. Please configure a WiFi access point in the phone Internet destination settings."Why should I do that? -- I have a working connection on that phone (as evidenced by the successful download of the list of maps). So now, I am stuck. How can I download the maps?
