View 4 RepliesI put a custom ROM on my GS2 for the first time, it involved updating a kernel.
However I really don't like the custom rom I installed and now I want to go back to the stock ROM but with the samsung stuff froze/removed.
I'm not sure where to download the stock ROM's from and I'm not sure if I need to change the kernels again.
I have a Samsung Galaxy S6. Recently the keyboard keeps defaulting back to the Samsung keyboard, rather than the Google keyboard which is my preferred option. I've reset the default in Settings repeatedly.

View 8 Replies View RelatedI can't seem to Change the Default Notification Sound..
I'm using Stock Firmware out of the Box.
Phone Details:
Android Version: 2.3.3
HTC Sense 2.1
Baseband 20.281.30
Kernel Version 2.6.35.10-g2ee27f5
Build Number 1.48.707.1
Software Number 1.48.707.1
I am on newest build and I noticed that I am unable to change the "default" sound for notifications. It looks like no matter what sound I will choose and apply (click "ready" after selecting), it will be still with "Sirius" ring. It is a bug as it is in fact showing I have totally other ring selected for notifications but it does not work.

I did the Settings>BackUp before I reverted to WP8.
I got issue from past week, suddenly phones lost my security lock reverted back to swipe. I tried putting face unlock and PIN but after few minutes the phone goes back to swipe to unlock. I don't recall installing any new apps in past few weeks nor installing any phone updates except for app updates for already installed apps

View 5 Replies View RelatedNot sure if there is a formal way to submit issues (I did not see one) however I have a Z3 Dual that is on 23.0.1.F.0.96 and the temperature format does not stick. I have set it to Fahrenheit countless times and the next time I go into the calendar it is back to Celsius. If there is not a formal bug submittal process it would sure be nice so that issues like these can be resolved...

I also still cannot get the notification sound I set in the Twitter app to stay to what I set.
I know it is possible to change the default screen which is displayed when you press the Home Button on the Samsung Galaxy S5, because I did it accidently. But it happened while I was trying to get the ringing phone out of my pocket. I do not know how to change it back. Suggestions for other types of phones have not worked
View 8 Replies View RelatedHaving problems picking a notification tone with Twitter? Every time I pick one it just goes back to default....
View 10 Replies View Relatedi have the S6 and was setting up Message+ as my default SMS/MMS app, when I attempted to change the notification tone. The dialogue box popped up and asked me if I wanted to use Zedge or Media Storage. Since I only have one tone in Zedge right now, I chose Media Storage. This is where it went wrong...instead of hitting "Just Once" as the option, I hit "Always". Now, every time I want to change the notification tone, I can only pick from the default Media Storage options. I want the bring back the option to be able to chose from either Zedge or Media Storage.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI've got a 2014 BMW with Nav/BT,
Every time I select my phone as the Music source in the BMW Nav, the phone chooses the last used music source. So, if I've rebooted the phone and haven't used any media players on phone, it opens the Samsung built in music player and plays the demo song that came with the S6.
If I last opened Spotify, the next time I select my phone Spotify auto plays. Same with Pandora.
Any way to select a default and work around this "last used" setting?
When taking pictures with the camera, the pictures are saved in a default folder. I want to change that so when I'm at work, the pictures can go into a work folder. And when I'm taking pictures on trips, the pictures can go into a trip folder.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI recently bought a Galaxy S6 Edge and am really liking it so far. However the one thing (so far) that I don't like is that I cannot use a 3rd party application to listen to my voice mails. My provider sends my voice messages as an AMR attachment in an MMS. When playing the AMR attachment the default app is sound player (I think), which plays the audio through the external speaker. With other phones I have had great success with WavPlayer which allows switching between the external speaker and the ear speaker. It will even allow you to switch automatically if it detects you raising the phone to your ear.
In short I want to use WavPlayer instead of the default app for listening to my voicemails from the messages app but have not figured out how to accomplish this.
They seem to have become lost after an update crash. They appear to be still on the phone as the alerts in use at the time continue to function but are inaccessible to change and if changed for an imported ringtone can not be restored. How to restore them?
Edit: Ringtone folder on device is empty.
I updated my facebook app and my whatsapp and when my phone rebooted all my default notification sounds where gone. Nothing was there. All I hear is a beep beep beep when I get a message.

HOWEVER, it will not play that sound. no matter what i do it plays the little bike bell.
