I'm about to fully flash my device back to stock. I have a o2 UK variant s6. I have downloaded the correct 5.1.1 rom via sammobile. However the worry I have is about the bootloader, do I have to do anything with it.

I have flashed various version 5 stock firmware's and the latest 6.0 using nexus tool kit, as well as specifically flashing only stock recovery using the tool kit and I cannot load into the stock recovery. I've spent hours looking for information on manually flashing the stock recovery without the tool kit but have found the instructions very vauge. Any information on flashing manually only the recovery would be very useful or information on why I may be having this issue.
I know every time i flash a rom it only shows about half of my internal storage. I have a 32gb version. So I end up having to go into a recovery "temp flashed" using the tool kit in order to clear some information and then i get my 32gb's back.
I"m wondering if the space being auto allocated or partitioned is interfering with the flash of the recovery..
How can I flash a custom rom on the new bootloader??? I installed 5.1.1 to my G920F but I want a custom rim 5.0.2
View 3 Replies View RelatedI had so many problems in the last days. I flashed the first INU 5.1.1 version on my G920I, after a few problems flashing TWRP. Finally I got the phone working and no major problems until last days when battery started to malfunction.
Anyway, after that I tried to flash the latest INU 5.1.1 version (G925IDVU2COGA_G925IODD2COGA_G925IDVU2COGA_HOME.ta r) but the phone couldn't start the Odin process. Then I tried another roms but nothing (all of them 5.1.1) after that I flashed the TWRP and made a stupid "factory wipe" and then my device was soft bricked.
The phone was on boot loop.. Finally, I splitted COGA rom in parts (modem.bin, cache, etc) and flashed system separated from the rest ROM. This worked but the only file that wasn't possible to load was sboot.bin cm.bin. Anyway, after that I tried to reflash COGA in one part but nothing. Finally I used the COF room (INU 5.1.1 from sammobile) and it was flashed full with no problems via Odin but now my device has the TOUCH SENSOR INVERSED. when I type in the right the letters on the left side of the keyboard are pressed.
By now I don't know what to do. Except that I am trying to flash a modded stock rom to get things fixed .

2. When i flash stock with smart switch i get stuck on samsung boot logo
3. Same thing with odin....stuck on samsung boot logo
4. To get the phone working and boot to desktop i flash custom kernel like unikernel
5. The problem is i want to use stock kernel i want to flash with smart switch and i want to get updates from samsung like i was before because when i use unikernel and i try to updates phone said your rom is modified...
Is there any chance to bypass samsung logo without flashing custom kernel...
I have the S6 with 5.0.2 and CSC ITV (AP:G920FXXU1AOCV, CP:G920FXXU1AOCW, CSC:G920FXXU1AOCN). Since I leave in Greece, I tried to flash through odin the Stock firmware with CSC EUR but I had fails all 4 times. Tried with both odin 3.0.9 and 3.10. The problem seems to be the hidden file in the end, because everything goes fine until that moment. The result is soft brick. What should I do?

Also, as I have sprint, should I be selected RTN for sprint? I had done that, was that bad?
It seems telling twrp to do advanced wipe of system and a bunch of other stuff that apparently is not normally wiped did it.
i recently tried flashing my v3m to altell. But it fail in the process and now it just shows the altell boot then goes to bootloader mode. But when trying to reflash it gets to flash group 2 and fails. I used rsd lite and radio comm. FLASH FAILED: Tx RQHW boot cmd failed. View 3 Replies View Relatedmy Nexus 5 has recently run into a problem where it suddenly decided to get stuck in a bootloop. I figured I could just reflash the stock rom via the boot loader with the wugfresh root toolkit but that unfortunately didn't work. But by doing this I noticed that my bootloader was not staying unlocked when I try to unlock it. Every time I unlock the boot loader and it restarts the bootloader automatically re-locks. I then proceeded to try and manually flashing the stock rom files individually and unlocking the bootloader each time I flash a file which was really annoying. It still hasn't worked and I'm starting to get worried because I've also started to notice my recovery can't really factory reset or wipe the cache. Instead I get this message at the bottom of the screen:

After OTA update device got stuck on Google logo and somehow recovery is missing, Android on it's back with red triangle. Is there way to fix it with locked bootloader ?

Bootloader.My Nexus 5 came with bootloader version hhz11n. The factory image from Google (4.4.4) has bootloader version hhz11k.
How different these two are, but since hhz11n image can't be found anywhere, I want to back it up before flashing to Lollipop or Marshmallow.
My Nexus is still running 4.4.4, bootloader unlocked, rooted, with TWRP installed.
I flashed my LG G3 Because i felt that the sound was not working anymore and that it can be a software issue which it was a hard ware issue ( loud speaker wasnt connected because of screw) Anyways preformed the stock FW Flash following the guide that highonandroid provided to go completely back to a stock rom. After flashing i restart phone and the boot takes forever until it finally hangs on the tmobile screen. there was a point where i left it over night to see if it will turn on but it still hung for a good 8 hours. Ive done everything i can which can be that i preformed atleast hundreds of hard resets but nothing is working.. there was a point where i did manage to turn it on then i tried updating to lolipop and when it reboots the bootloop is back..

Loving the phone, but was surprised not to see raw support and shutter speed ability in the stock camera app, as last may I was convinced I had read that it was going to have an 'exciting' camera update. After some research, I discovered this had been updated and implemented in Android 5.1.1.
So does this mean even with the impending 6.0 update, that the only way to use raw or tinker with the shutter speed will be via a third party app? If so that seems a bit lame..
I do love my lg g4 but compared to the s6 edge it looks ancient, the camera capabilities are simply amazing though. That's why I don't get why Samsung hasn't made it accessible from their own app?
My phone is currently rooted, with a different kernel and running deodexed XtreStoLite. How to go back to stock? I want to trade my phone in soon at T-Mobile and I know they'll notice the phone is rooted, since it says "kernel is not seandroid enforcing" when booting up. Everything works fine, though. I know in most people's case that text only shows for bootloop, but mine works fine.

I did a backup of stock, with TWRP, but can I just restore it or do I need to flash stock firmware with Odin first? (I'm on XtreStoLite right now).
Just don't want to brick it, so unsure if I can just restore, or I need to remove the custom rom before restoring.
I have a SM-G920F phone and I recently flashed the UK version of Lollipop to be able to participate in Marshmallow beta program. I didn't like it because it didn't support my gear VR and I went back to Lollipop.
