i have Galaxy s6 and have problem with root stock rom with stock kernel
5.0.2 i can root only via pingpongroot.
5.0.2 with TWRP = bootloop
5.1.1 working only custom kernel but i need have stock rooted...How i can root Stock rom + Stock Kernel Android 5.1.1 ?
1.TWRP + su binary = bootloop :/
2.Root via custom kernel and back to stock = bootloop
Have KNOX tripped but i must have stock kernel + stock rom ROOTED :/
I want to have support from samsung... Kinda tired of custom roms and also I want root so badly. So is there any way to have root and get otas from samsung?

I would like to completely purge all leftovers files from when I rooted my Nexus 5.
I tried something with another device I own - the Nexus 7 2012 - and that was using TWRP and remove all the files from "/". Of course, it would fail to remove everything (permissions?) and cause the device to freeze, but forcing reboot would allow to enter bootloader and flash everything fresh and lock the bootloader (I used Nexus Root Toolkit). It has not caused any obvious problems.
I was wondering what the best way would be to completely start fresh on my Nexus 5 while getting rid of all leftover files.
I desperately need more storage on this phone.. The only way I have found to gain extra storage is to have root and use StickMount. I have a lot of info and game saves that I don't want to lose to a data wipe though. Is there a safe root method on stock 5.1.1 that doesn't wipe data?

AdAway does a great job but you need to be rooted to use it. Ad Blocker tries but does not get all the ads . Of all the things I miss by not rooting this is at the top of my list.

I currently have Galaxy S6 G920FD. I prevously I am on 5.0.2 with CSC:GLB (Country:Philippines, Network:Globe). I successfuly flashed the French 5.1.1 ROM. Now I flashed back to my native Globe 5.1.1. Problem is the CSC is Thailand and not Globe. How do I change the CSC without root? Tried going to Recovery mode doing full cache wipe and full reset but still it sets the Thailand CSC.

I'm wanting to fully clear my phone as Chrome connected to WiFi can take up to 20 seconds to resolve pages and my battery life has declined to 12 hours or so when it used to last a day! Our phones has the Torch in the Quick Toggles, but you need to turn it on, unlock and then go to to the QuickToggle to turn it on and off, with this is as simply as press and Hold the Volume Up, once you finish press the Volume down once. Best of all, no root required.
