Apr 22, 2011Recently when streaming a tv show via tv shows stream, I noticed tha back of my xoom getting noticeably warm...almost hot. Notto the point where it hurt or anything, but definitely very warm. My question is, what is a normal operating temperature for the xoom say when browsing a via tabs and maybe running a game or two? I have downloaded an app that keeps track of my internal temperature and I want to know what temperatures I should be cautious of.

When I click on a link and that tries to open a new tab, I get an error message that states I have reached my 50 tab maximum. At the bottom of the screen where most users have a "Back" "Forward" "Home" "Bookmark" "Tab" icons, I do NOT have a "tab" icon. How to close tabs without this icon present. all forums answers say to use this icon and I don't see it on my screen.

Nov 19, 2010Recently my Bold 9700 has been having browser issues! If I try to open a link off a webpage or facebook/twitter, it comes up with "insuffeicent data coverage" or whatever, even though I have full 3G and full Wifi! Also if I try to open a bookmark, or even google, it just sits requesting and then fails to load! I've done many a reboot, deleted wifi router and re added with no luck! Also its affecting the Facebook/Twitter app and won't load new posts.

Jul 13, 2011I have recently bought a Motorola Flipout unlocked. I am with a UK network on Pay As You Go. The proble I have is I'm a complete rookie when it comes to technology. Basically I have a wifi network at home, but when out and about my phone has been automatically connecting to 'the internet' when I'm surfing the web etc, looking at the news and social networks. This has meant that I'm using a lot of money in topping up my credit. I have been reading the forum and I've now changed my Wifi sleep policy to never, enabled a data saver, disabled background data, and ensured data roaming was off, and 'synced over wifi only'. I just would like some advice really as all I want is to keep up to date with emails etc when I actively want to see if I have any rather than the phone constantly updating and charging me.

While I can browse Internet through wifi (which is interesting cause it loves to freeze), I cannot use BB app world, cause it says my device is not connected to the wireless network. The same thing with FB application. Nov 9, 2011I recently took part in a Digital Connections project whereby I downloaded an app to monitor phone usage through a market research site, when I did this I had to change some internet options in order to allow it certain access.Since then however internet browsing doesn't work, I get a message which says 'Unable to connect to the Internet, please try again later. If the problem persists please contact your service provider'.Are there default settings out there that I can mimic to allow access again? Even with removing the app my settings are obviously what I changed them to but I neglected to keep a record of what they were originally. I believe its connected to the advanced options/browser push settings where there are several options to allow all/deny all/auto and allow specific. Is there any way other than restoring defaults to change them so they are correct? Or if someone has the same phone would they be able to post what their options currently are so I can mimic them to see if they work?All other functions still work as in email/bbm.
