Jul 15, 2015Icons are getting stuck in my status bar when I'm on my home screen. New icons will appear over the old ones and it looks like a mess. It looks shadowed. How do I clean that up?

Galaxy S6 :: Removing / Hiding Icons In Status Bar?
Jul 8, 2015Is there anyway to remove/hide the carrier name (AT&T) from the status bar? In my Moto X 2014, there was an option is the settings and it would remove the AT&T from the status bar but I can't find an option in the S6.
Also, is there a way to remove/hide the 'time' from the status bar?
Galaxy S6 :: Status Bar Stuck After Unlock
May 25, 2015I have been experiencing a rather annoying bug on my S6. After unlocking the screen, sometimes the status bar will not pull down. This happens about 1/5 unlocks. I have to lock the screen again and then unlock for it to work again. Since the status bar is usually the first thing I use after unlocking, this becomes a real pain. I was hoping that the recent update would fix this, but it's still happening.

I turned off the battery status with stamina and percentage of battery cause of overcrowded status bar!!So I have to use during battery saver pro battery indicator instead of Sony(it's just a little circle with percentage).

Sep 29, 2015im using xperia z3 5.1.1 and ever since that lollipop update who changed the status bar icons ive got that annoying gap between the battery and the signal icons, also all the icons became like KK icons but the battery stayed xperia like.

Nov 19, 2013I'm brand new to the Windows Phone 8 game and bought a used 1020. I've had various old school winmo phones before like the Moto MPx200 and the MPx220. It is not my primary phone and I bought it mostly for the camera to take pics whenever I have my phone. Haven't had the phone for long but one thing that irks me is that the status icons (cell strength, wifi, battery, etc) on the top do not stay there and always disappears. I can make them reappear by sliding down from the top but is there any way or option to keep it always there?

May 10, 2012My iPhone 4S will not download updates to my existing apps or new apps. Every attempt at downloading simply goes into a "waiting" status. I know it's not my network because my wife's 4S downloads apps no problem, as does my daughters iPod Touch. I have tried completely shutting my iPhone off and turning it back on. No luck. I've signed out of iTunes and back in. No luck.
Right now the only way I've been able to get updates and apps onto my phone is by syncing it, which is ridiculous. I don't understand why this suddenly started happening. I've had the phone since November with zero problems. I know it's not server traffic because my wife's downloads come in quickly on the same network. I haven't been able to download anything in several weeks now.

Mar 31, 2012my apple i phone 3 g was working fine no problems then it changed to giant letters and icons by itself, I was asleep when I got a text from my friend, everything was huge.I couldnt use the keyboard it was too big for the screen, I tried to change the font setting but could barely see it but did see it was still in the mimimun size font. I tried turning it off and back on, tried rebooting and its fully charged.

BB Curve :: Notification Icons Stuck On Home Screen?
Jan 3, 2012I have a blackberry curve 3g with version 5 OS, I have 3 icons stuck - 1 text message, 1 blackberry app world, 1 facebook.
I have tried a battery pull, and searching for unread text messages, there are none, there are also no updates for any apps, or any facebook notifications - I have reset my fb notifications from the fb app and nothing has changed.
They have been stuck there for over a week and it is beginning to irritate me.

Dec 30, 2011I just got my Photon yesterday and really like it. One odd thing I noticed was that sometimes an application icon on my desktop will be stuck in a "Loading" state. If I click on the icon, it says something like the application is unavailable. If I restart my phone, the problem appears to go away.A co-worker that has had the Photon for a while now says that he gets this problem all the time. He says restarting the phone will fix the problem for that icon, but sometimes another icon will have the same problem.It appears to happen with any launcher (e.g. Motoblur or GO Launcher EX).
*EDIT: In addition to the icon being stuck in "loading" on the desktop, I noticed that if you open the Applications area, the icon for the application doesn't even show up.

Galaxy S6 :: White Status Bar On Lockscreen
Apr 26, 2015I just got my S6 (SM-920FD) however the status bar on lockscreen seems to be white instead of the wallpaper being shown.
It looks like the wallpaper is not extended upto status bar. I also noticed this issue on some apps (which works perfectly on my other devices), its only S6 having this issue.

Is there a system file I can edit to change the default color to something like a green when I'm opening certain applications that use the black bar? I really don't want to put up with seeing burn in where the status bar is in the main UI or watching videos or something like that.

Jun 3, 2015I have rooted, de-bloated, and installed an LED notification manager, which has made my phone nearly perfect. The only lagging issue is the overly busy Status/Notification bar and drop-down. Things I would like to change:
Status Bar
- remove AM/PM from the clock
- remove NFC icon when active
- change battery status to something that takes up less space, the default is icon AND percentage. I'd ideally love to use the Circle Battery Mod.
Drop Down
- remove the brightness slider
- remove the "s finder" and "quick connect" buttons.

Jan 5, 2016My fingerprint scanner is not working. I did a factory reset and cleared cache. I also got my home button changed for a new one (i thought it was scratched). Bit the problem still persist with another home button. Button was originally replaced under warranty, so it should have fingerprint reader in it.
I went to my phone dialer and typed *#0*# -> sensors -> fingerprint and i got this: none
When i click test sensor i get a crash.
