I'm looking for a way to remove the push notification balloons and have icons that show up on the status bar. I don't know what SMS, mail, facebook, twitter apps offer this awesome feature. I want to use this combined with info shade from lock info.

The little bar across the top of the home screen that displays icons for phone status and notifications has a new one I don't know.I've seen it mentioned in another post, but no one told the asker what it was since it wasn't the main question.

I turned off the battery status with stamina and percentage of battery cause of overcrowded status bar!!So I have to use during battery saver pro battery indicator instead of Sony(it's just a little circle with percentage).
Anyway to hide 1&2 icons??
im using xperia z3 5.1.1 and ever since that lollipop update who changed the status bar icons ive got that annoying gap between the battery and the signal icons, also all the icons became like KK icons but the battery stayed xperia like.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI'm brand new to the Windows Phone 8 game and bought a used 1020. I've had various old school winmo phones before like the Moto MPx200 and the MPx220. It is not my primary phone and I bought it mostly for the camera to take pics whenever I have my phone. Haven't had the phone for long but one thing that irks me is that the status icons (cell strength, wifi, battery, etc) on the top do not stay there and always disappears. I can make them reappear by sliding down from the top but is there any way or option to keep it always there?

Anyway the problem I have is Facebook and Whatsapp do NOT show the number of notifications on Icon only in the status bar. Here's a couple of screen captures to show you what I mean.

I have a new Blacberry 9700, however none of the documentation I have found shows the meaning or function of the various screen icons or notifications.
Every other phone I have had shows a picture of the screen with each item identified, and also includes an index of the "soft" icons identifying each.
I liked just seeing notifications as small icons at the top of my phone. .. not these intrusive pop up messages. It's funny how someone else decides what's an upgrade for me. Is it possible to just get my little icons back?

I have deleted it from the applications list and do not see it in the modules list but the icon still shows.I also have icons that have the "Hide" checked but are not really hidden. View 20 Replies View RelatedCan anyone enlighten me on how to change the status bar so it can include a logo (beside carrier) like I've seen on several posts (apple logo, oo7 logo, etc).
I tried SupremeSettings but that only let me change the carrier text and also proved to be quite conflicting with other apps until I removed it. I'm running 3.1.2 so some older mods don't work either.
I did a jb a couple months ago, I loved it but then it froze on me causing me to restore. So I decided not to jb again. So now instead of having the original "AT&T" on the status bar, it has my name. Do I need to jb it again to change it back? I also remember when I did a back up after a restore, it went from AT&T to my name.
I have a 3gs, 3.1.3 and I do remember saving some sort of file to someone(in order to jb again i suppose?)
I have just returned from Stockholm and have noticed the 'phone and arrow' icon (see attached - top left of the display). Wondering if anyone knows what it means, if it costs me and how I find what's causing it.
