May 1, 2011I have lost all my message in Inbox, Outbox, Sent, Drafts etc) my Nokia E71 mobile, just after the restart.

Eseries / Communicators :: Lost All Data, Precious Messages And Contacts
Oct 9, 2011I took a backup of my E 72 using PC suite on my laptop. and fomatted the memory card and took a hard reset of my phone as after software update the phn stopped alerting on receiving an sms. but now when I am restoring the data, i see a message everytime that "restore successful.phone will restart" but after restart there is no data restored from the back up. and also says that "due to insufficinet memory the back up file was saved on my laptop's desktop with the names - 1.) DEV and 2.) MMC".i need those messages as it has all my bank account details.i tried restoring only the messages from the backup file with extension "nbu." but all in vain.again it says "restore successful.phone will restart" but no messages are seen after the restart.
I have tried several times,restoring using ovi suite also but i get a message "something's gone wrong"

Jul 17, 2011Every so often my e6 would restart. I was thinking of why it would restart and came to the conclusion that whenever im in an area with no signal, it would restart. It doesnt have a problem when im in offline mode.

Jun 15, 2011I am using E7 since last 3 month and after 10 days I start facing the problem that my Phone gets restart automatically, whenever I tries to use. After doing a lot of thing I found that problem is due to INTERNET Connectivity. Whenever my PHONE is ONLINE thru Wi-Fi or MOBILE OFFICE (GPRS / 3G) its getting RESTART and if I dont access Internet thru this PHONE, its working perfectly.

but it keeps restarting randomally,, so it can be a 5minutes period or even working for 3 hours but at the end it keeps restarting for no reason..
i even tried to send it it to the repair shop, and all they can do is changing the cover ($40)

May 25, 2012I wokeup and restarted my phone cause it was acting a bit too slow. after the restart, i lost all my contacts. i restarted again but nothing happened. i did a ovi sync restore, and even then nothing happened. I know for sure that i had contacts on ovi sync server. it was set to "sync when data changes".

Mar 3, 2011can not make calls when qwerty keyboard is in use and Bluetooth to headset is activated because phone makes every time restart while setting up the voice call. It just first indicates that "disconnecting Bluetooth" and soon after that restarts.And when you make it again and again it does the same.

Jun 30, 2012I have got the latest software on the phone. Internet keeps freezing and I have to restart the phone at least once a day. I only browse a straight forward forum and facebook so it should be able to cope. I could never watch you tube or any web site with a lot of pictures. I have deleted cookies/history etc. Is it my internet connection that makes the phone freeze or is it the phone itself.

Sep 28, 2011My E7 on Symbian Anna, has since the update and in last 10 days started to suddenly restart - sometimes as many as 6 times during a short span of time. This happens on not on all days, and sometimes even when it is on standby.Today I happened to note that F Secure screen was coming after sudden restar and then back to restart again. Now it is stable and I saw that F secure was showing update to anti theft as of 28/9/11.So I am suspecting that may be F Secure causes the restart while updating.

On restart all of my ringtones have "disappeared" - E.g. Trying to change any tone the phone tries to access the library by showing "opening", but it hangs. Jun 11, 20121) When sending text messages the messages go through but some remain in the outbox. They are actually sent, and not waiting for resend. The only option when selecting them is to delete, which removes them from the conversation threads. It doesn't seem to be related to service, but to whether I am using the phone for any other purpose at the time.
2) When connected to a car BT system, shut off car, BT seems to go into a black hole. You can't reconnect, can't make a call (well, it makes a call, but you can't hear anything; can't play music, etc.). The only solution is reboot. This happens with multiple systems in different brands of auto, so not limited to one brnad.
