Sorry if this has been covered but when watching a facetime demo I noticed that the button has replaced the hold button. Has apple deemed the hold function redundant? Or am I missing something.
I have recently updated the firmware on my Nokia C3-01 to the latest version V06.05. After a day or two of use the flashlight came on and I can't get it off (unless I remove the battery). I am not sure if it is related to the firmware update or some other issue. The phone seems to operate fine apart from this. I have reinstalled V06.05 but the light is still on.
I have a problem with my flashlight. When I just bought it (about a week ago), it was working fine. Hold the lock/unlock key for a few seconds and it turns on, do it again and the flashlight turns off. Now this suddenly doesn't work anymore, and I don't know how to get it back. I'm not sure when this happened, but I think it might have something to do with installing Belle...
i was using my iphone 4 last night when all of a sudden the hold/lock button at the top of the phone become stuck. I have not dropped it or anything and so cannot understand why there is a problem. it is stuck in the downwards position, as if i had pressed it and the button has not come back up.
I have an Xperia Z5 and when ever I press and hold the power button it makes a non stop like it's ringing and I can't stop it unless I switch the phone of.
I have a new Macbook Pro that I've had for a few weeks. My iPhone 4 16GB from Verizon won't connect to iTunes. I nuked iTunes, reinstalled it, turn my iPhone into recovery mode, but the entire time I have to hold down the Home button, that is the only way it will connect and stay connected to iTunes. I have iOS 5.1 for my iPhone, had to hold down Home the entire time. Does anyone know what the problem is or how I can fix it? I really don't want to hold down Home everytime I want to connect to iTunes.
Siri suddenly does not work when I hold down home button. Have iOS 5.1.1; wifi connection; tried turning on/off Siri, rebooting etc. Used to work fine, latest iPhone. The home "Button" works - I can do other things; and the voice-to-text function also works.
Info: iPhone 4S, iOS 5.1.1, Worked fine before 5.1.1 update
is this possible? I've googled for a little while can't find anything, I guess I'm not phrasing it right to find it?I like my long hold recent apps to bring up multi window, I would love to long hold back maybe to launch a "quick compose" message without leaving my app or start the music player
I am having trouble to restart my iphone 4, I have tried to Press and hold the sleep/wake button and the home button for more than one minute, but it is not doing anything. It is at full battery because I just finished charging it. I have called my phone from home phone, it is not responding on iphone but I can hear ringing from home phone and it went into voicemail after a while. My iphone is frozen. It is frozen during updating to the new software but disconnected from computer by accident. Right now it is not doing anything it is just a black screen.

I purchased my Xoom a month ago and haven't had any problems except when i turn it off it ma or may not start again so i leave it on all the time. I hold the on button and volume high button on for three to five seconds . sometimes this works and som times it don't. If i hold the two buttons for longer a message appears about start protocolect. It had been working fine until this morning when the iPhone is now stuck in the loop of restarting and stuck in the Apple logo screen.I have tried to hold both the sleep and Home button to reset. But, it just goes back to the same loop.Since the iPhone does not reach the Passcode screen, it is not even recognized by iTunes. So, I cannot restore it, either. How should I proceed?
I have had my X6 for just under 6 months and the keypad lock button has snapped off. I have a protective cover on the phone and screen cover and have to admit that when I got the phone, I though it was a bad design and would eventually happen. How do I get it repaired?
My C7 froze to the point where it was necessary to pull out and reinsert the battery.
Unfortunately now I can't turn it back on. Pressing POWER button triggers vibra, but the screen remains dark and nothing happens after that.
I tried removing the batteries, plugged it in the wall, removed SIM card, I also tried hard reset key combination suggested in in this thread (Volume Down + Camera Key + Menu Key and press power button).
On a general note, the phone was freezing a lot. I noticed that especially when trying to connect to my work wlan (not very stable hot spot).
I want to be able to only lock my blackberry by pressing the top left lock button and not unlock it when i press it again. This is extremely annoying. Can anyone help me?
When I lock my SGS II i would expect all the buttons to lock! However the power button function remain active and its far too easy to accidently power off my phone or set it into flight mode.Does anyone know how to disable this "feature" ??
Suddenly my phone hanged and it got dead completely. This screen popped up when I turned on the power button. I have no clue how to fix it. I tried to reboot, but no success.

Well, 2 days ago my screen had developed a small black semi-circle with almost entire screen covered in light transparent brown semi-circle. Now with a day of little use, the entire screen has turned bluish. I can hardly see anything today.
