Siri suddenly does not work when I hold down home button. Have iOS 5.1.1; wifi connection; tried turning on/off Siri, rebooting etc. Used to work fine, latest iPhone. The home "Button" works - I can do other things; and the voice-to-text function also works.

IPhone :: 4 Won't Connect To ITunes Unless I Hold The Home Button
I have a new Macbook Pro that I've had for a few weeks. My iPhone 4 16GB from Verizon won't connect to iTunes. I nuked iTunes, reinstalled it, turn my iPhone into recovery mode, but the entire time I have to hold down the Home button, that is the only way it will connect and stay connected to iTunes. I have iOS 5.1 for my iPhone, had to hold down Home the entire time. Does anyone know what the problem is or how I can fix it? I really don't want to hold down Home everytime I want to connect to iTunes.
IPhone :: Shortcuts - Can Hold Down Home Key And Touch Power Button
can hold down the "home key" and touch the power button for a second and you will get a "screen shot" that you can paste into an email. Or hold your finger on a picture in Safari or an email for three seconds and it will give you an option to make a copy, which will be stored with your "camera roll" under your Photos.

It had been working fine until this morning when the iPhone is now stuck in the loop of restarting and stuck in the Apple logo screen.I have tried to hold both the sleep and Home button to reset. But, it just goes back to the same loop.Since the iPhone does not reach the Passcode screen, it is not even recognized by iTunes. So, I cannot restore it, either. How should I proceed?
IPhone :: Why Won't The Home Button Work
I just dropped my iphone for the first time. It didn't have an otter box, just a thin plastic cover. It landed on it's screen but shows no screen damage whatsoever. Now I can't use the home button. I can listen to my music and play games just fine, but when it comes to getting back to the home screen with the home button it doesn't work. It makes the usual clicking sound, but nothing else. I got it to the home screen a couple of times by pushing the button with alot of force but I'm affraid that will damage it more. What should I do? Is it fixable? Do I have to take it to be repaired or can I fix it at home?

IPhone :: FaceTime Button Replaces Hold Button?
Sorry if this has been covered but when watching a facetime demo I noticed that the button has replaced the hold button. Has apple deemed the hold function redundant? Or am I missing something.
IPhone :: After Replacing Glass Home Button Does Not Work?
I cracked the glass on my Iphone 3g not too long ago so like everyone else I ordered the glass off of the internet. After finishing the job everything went surprisingly smooth. The glass looks great and there is no dust or fingerprints on the inside of the glass or the LCD so I was feeling pretty good. But after I got everything all back together I realized the home button wasn't working. I searched the web and couldn't find any information that really helped me on this matter. I had a little trouble with ribbon #3 but nothing major. Does anyone know if ribbon 3 is what controls the home button? But like I said everything is great all the speakers work and the touch screen works fine its just the home button. Right now I am stuck using my old pantech duo and I find myself tapping the screen like its an Iphone.
IPhone :: Home Button Doesnt Work After Fixing?
So i removed some moisture from under the 3Gs screen and dust etc but i noticed i removed a somewhat tape on the front glass of the iphone EXAMPLE VVVVhttp://i46.tinypic.com/kb9g9l.jpg everything else works. except the home button is unresponsive.
IPhone :: Home Button Doesn't Work Softly?
I have a problem with my home button. It works every time I press it and iPhone act correctly, but the pressing itself isn't as it should be. So the button doesn't work soft, elastically and neatly. It feels like there's something inside the mechanism. And the sound of pressing the button isn't typical. But the iPhone is almost new and it works great apart from the button. I've searched for it on the Internet but it seems that I'm the only person with this problem, because the button actually works and the phone responds to pressings every time.
IPhone :: IOS 5.1 Update, Home Button Doesn't Work
Ever since I installed the iOS 5.1 update on my iPhone 4, the home button does not work at all! I've tried every trouble shooting solution I could find. I've Restarted, I can't hard reset because the home button doesn't work, I've restored from back up, I've restored as new, I've vacuumed out and gently used a tooth brush in the port below the home button in attempt to remove any dust. I've tried opening a factory installed app such as Maps, Safari, Stocks etc and held the top button until the "Slide to power off" showed and then held down the home button until it went to home screen except it didn't go to the home screen at all the "slide to power off" disappeared after a while. I have extremely intermittent response with the Home Button. If i press it continuously it will work after 27 presses one time or 9 presses another but never when I try to do a hard reset and 9.999 times out of 10 it doesn't work.
IPhone :: Home Button And Volume Doesn't Work

IPhone :: Home Button Wont Work To Enter DFU Mode?
My home button just stopped working suddenly, so thinking that it may be software problem (although I think is not very likely) y decided to update it to 2.0 using winpwn. The problem was that when I have to enter DFU mode, I can’t because my home button won’t work. I ’m wondering if there is any other way of entering DFU mode without using the home button or maybe a suggestion for another way to updating to 2.0 without having to enter DFU mode. Also I would appreciate some of your opinions about my home button issue is it hardware or software?
