I Bought a new Sony Ericsson X10 today, and i turned on my mobile but the screen showing a lock ? i didn't see the settings (language, date/start up).. what is the problem?

View 10 Replies View RelatedI have a Galaxy S6 (64G) from AT&T. I've been having problems receiving Whatsapp notifications when the screen is turned off for a while. I measured that it takes about 10-15 minutes after the screen is turned Off using the web interface for whatsapp. I have enabled notifications to always allow pop ups in the appI checked that restrict background data is not enabled for WhatsppI have set Whatsapp notifications as priority under App notificationsChecked to make sure that So not disturb is set to OFF.
After the connection is dropped I see all the missed messages and notifications showing up only after opening the app. This has been very annoying and I've been unable to respond to important messages in a timely manner if the phone has been idle for a while.
My iphone4 screen is blank, it updates ok thought iTunes, it buzzers when sound is turned off as normal

Spotify is that the full screen artwork on the lock screen has gone. It now shows a small widget that only has a pause and next track option. What happened to the full screen that was there before with my Galaxy S4 and iPhone 5s.

1) no notifications are displayed on my lock screen even for missed calls or sms's .. there is no any icon or symbol that informs me if i have missed any call or received a message ; and i have to unlock my phone every time to check
in the Settings -> Sounds and Notifications -> i selected the option to show all the notifications.. but nothing changed

2) also on the lock screen , not widget for the walkman or the sound cloud to enable me to pause the players or to navigate to the next song
When Pandora is running, my phone won't show the Pandora Pause/Forward widget/buttons. The background changes to the album art, but no widget functionality. My built in music player still shows it's widget and is fully functional so it's not a global "disable widgets" setting (if there even is one). I have uninstalled/re-installed Pandora multiple times.
I am running a stock LG G3 version 5.0.1.
I updated both my iPhone 4 and iPad 2. Now both have the same problem. When I receive emails, they do not show on the lock screen. Email is set to show on lock screen in Notifications. I have removed accounts and put them back.

View 8 Replies View RelatedI've got a stock unrooted Nexus 5. yesterday I updated to 5.1 and now its showing me a PIN Lock Screen (PLS). I did not use a PLS before the 5.1 update and I've never set up a PIN. Now I can't get in! I enter a random PIN and it says "Wrong PIN". I tried using Android Device Manager and I logged in and it found my phone. Then I followed the instructions and hit Lock and entered in a new PIN and it said "Since Google has already verified that a lock screen is already set, the password you entered won't be needed". What?!. What does this mean? How can I get back in without erasing all my data?

I can lock the screen and change the volume but nothing else. The phone stays like this for 3-4 hours then returns to normal. I've taken to just not turning it off but this can't be permenant, running out of battery, etc.

View 10 Replies View RelatedI use Xperia Z2 and SCR10 cover. There is a protective glass, but problem was before I started to use that glass. A firmware is the last 23.4.A.1.232, but problem began earlier (about two months ago).
During a phone conversation the cover Scr10 is closed, the screen is switched off (no lighting). But a touchscreen is still working, and by my ear I press the buttons on the display (lighting of screen is turned off!!!), I start programs, I open the top bar, I come into settings (most often in power management, because battery is on center of top bar), etc.
I just bought an 02 mini x10. It's new and came into a sealed box. But first time I switched it on nothing appears on screen. Left it to charge for a whole day (charging indicator lits up) but still nothing. But when I turn it on, the boot music/sound comes in and also I can only see the screen when under sunlight. I can see 'Silent mode " and "settings" on the screen. But the phone switches down when I press on either.

We have 3 Ray phones in our family. I have upgraded my to ICS, but the other two still have the original android OS - GB. Problems that we experience on all three phones are as follows; If I look at the video file and turn the phone 90 degrees (it does not matter if I turn it left or right), then screen lock lock the screen immediately. I can not unlock the phone as long as the phone is in the same position. I have to turn it back 90 degrees for it to go to unlock it. The same happens even if I want to play games and have to turn my phone 90 degrees, or if I want to photograph or record a film. If I do not turn my phone 90 degrees, then everything works as it should, but it is supposed to be able to rotate the phone, depending on what you do without screen lock locks my phone immediately?

View 9 Replies View RelatedHave a BB curve 9300 3g, software ver 6. on a payg contract with Tesco. It worked fine until this morning when I noticed it was rebooting (the same as a battery pull) constantly. It would boot, update security and reboot again. Finally managed to switch off wifi and mobile network to see if this made a difference and the rebooting stopped. I've since switched on wifi, and this is fine.
But as soon as the mobile network is turned on it will try to obtain a signal and within 2 or 3 seconds will start rebooting again. I've tried it with different battery, different sim, with and without microsd card, deleting all apps, upgrading software to latest version etc etc but nothing works. Right now I have a mobile phone which is of no use as it cannot receive a mobile signal.
My wife and I both have 2014 Moto Xs on AT&T, roughly 3 weeks old. My phone is 100% great, however her phone will only connect to Wifi networks if mobile data is turned off.
I've tried everything, and can't get it to work correctly. It will either show the list of networks associated with the device with the word "disabled" under the most recent network, or be stuck on the blank "Searching for Wi-Fi networks..." screen.
since upgrading to IOS 8, I am constantly getting warnings that from apps that mobile data is turned off. This happens when connected via WiFi and even when opening Settings - the place where you turn mobile data on and off! How can I disable this annoying alert and has a bug been submitted as it is incor behaviour to moan about mobile data when INET connectivity is present via WiFi.Â
BTW, this interface for this site is tragically bad when using an iPhone 5 in landscape mode. It doesn't "just work"

when I got the first lollipop Update I had an option to disable the lock screen completely on my z3 compact, ever since this recent update to fix the bugs in lollipops it only gives me the option to set a slide lock screen or PIN or password but not completely disable it so if I try to use any third party lock screen I have to first unlock the Sony one before it will go to that one.
my other issue is with the throw, screen mirroring s only once since I've had this phone have I been able to scan and have devices come up I have a smart TV and that came up but everytime I try to do it now it just says no devices found every single time
