Cseries :: C3 Indicator Letters - What Is The "2" Icon

My phone wasnt working and I brought it into my service provider and guy did something funny to my phone and now it doesn't work when I make calls - all I get are "error in connection" messages. In the upper left of the display screen there's a number 2 which appears to the right of the battery indicator icon. What is this and could it be causing this error in connection situation? I have restored my factory settings and I still get this error message?
i cant use some letters on the keyboard in landscape mode
in english it works very fine but in arabic i cant use 3 letters when i press on screen no thing happens i just dont know how to fix this.the 3 letters which i cant use is in the middle of keyboad in landscape mode
I wanted to re start my iphone because it was acting kind of slow . I held the home button and the lock button at the same time to re start it . I did it and i saw my apple logo but a few seconds later white letters started appearing on my screen.. i tried re starting it again connecting to itunes but it doesnt recognize it . How to turn it back on?
Does the C3-01 have water damage indicators? Vodaphone claim that mine has suffered water damage. It is less than a year old, has never been wet, dropped in water or used in the bath. The screen suddenly stopped working and when I took it in for repair it came back as water damage along with a photo, which I couldn't make sense of, showing the damage. I've got over a year to run on my contract and I'm paying for internet that I can't use. I've gone back to my previous phone, a 6303 which has spent the last few months sitting in a cupboard, and it works fine. I've had at least 6 Nokia phones over the last few years and have never had a problem. I live in the same house and have the same job, my lifestyle hasn't changed, yet the C3-01 has suffered water damage.
I'm really disappointed and I'd like know whether my faith in Nokia phones is misguided, I will certainly think long and hard about buying another. Is the newer technology (touchscreen) less robust and unable to cope with life?
I have updated my c6-00 phone software to 40.0.021. After the update, white charging indicator light has stopped working (around the charger port on phone). Rest of charging process is working fine.
I am using Nokia C2-01 Mobile.Recently I am obseving a New Identification Symbol on the Home Screen once the end party answers the Call.I have read the manual. But, I couldn't find it what is it or I might have missed.A part of that symbol looks as square root symbol and extended by another slant line and a horizontal line. The picture is shown in UnIdentifiedSymbol.JPG ?
I've just got a Nokia E72 and have managed to self teach how to operate all the functions I can see needing, ( no thanks to the paper manual the phone came with). Unfortunately from day 1 there has been a black + white envelope icon flashing at the very bottom of the screen. It can't be reached by the navigator and I have no unread messages nor are the message boxes full.
I have read the manual cover to cover and pressed every help button in the phone to no avail. how to stop this flashing icon as it is starting to drive me crazy. Other than that it seems like a really good phone.
Something happened and now every new message that comes into my gmail bb account doesn't have a red * on the icon on home screen. Its as if the message application was already opened but the message is still unread. Anyone know anything about this.
I have a facebook icon in the feeds indicator that I cannot remove. Normally when I click on the icon it takes me to the appropriate update which in turn automatically removes the icon.
a new icon appeared to the left of the battery indicator. It's a little white phone with some dots under it. I,be had an iPhone for 6 years and have never had this before.Â
There is a golden pouch (maybe an envelope with a strap around the bottom) that appeared at the bottom of the email icon. Can't find it anywhere in the documentation and can't figure out what it is when I select the email envelope it does not indicate anything different.
Just recently I had an Icon show up just blow the clock on my home screen that looks like a black circle with a downward diagonal arrow in the middle of it.
I updated my C3-01 to the latest software and now the Ovi Store icon is missing from the main menu. I can still access it from the Collection but it's much more handy having it in the main menu. Any way to fix this? I notice a couple of threads about this but no solution
I lost the Ovi store icon from my phone today. I can see Ovi store app when I check application manager>installed apps. But it is not there in the menu. So I cant access it by any means. I tried installing the new qml store client. Even that gets installed but not available thru menu. I can confirm it is installed in the phone memory as I can see it in the installed apps list. But no way I can use it since there is no icon for it. Also I have lost my internet search engine which is used to search web content thru native browser.
Sometimes a little circle will appear in the upper right corner of the Applications icon on my C6-01, and go away a short while later. What does this indicate? At first I thought an application was starting up, but when I hold down the menu key, it shows no open applications.
I've just upgraded my phone and the message icon is showing and when I go to messages the inbox has '(1)' next to it, but on opening inbox there are no unread messages. Where is this phantom message and how can I get at it / delete it?
For the last few days I have a small icon in the status (top) area with the shape of an envelope seen from the stamp side. (screenshots attached) I don't know what it means... I have searched manuals and references from different phones without luck (I got very dissapointed with the information regarding this matter)
Default Icon Mail always appear Lost on my phone. My C3-00 lost icon Mail, how to restore it? It very important, I need it and I don't want restore my phone return default.
My IPhone if having trouble with the screen, I can't type neither letter M nor I. I did an icloud backup and restore the phone thinking that could fix it and it didn't. Now I can't get to my backup in icloud because letter M and I are part of the user/password needed.
how to get to my backup? Can I access icloud from iTunes?
On some screens, some of the letters are missing on headings eg text messa rather than text message - there seems little space for the remaining letters. Also sometimes it takes a couple of seconds for the full word to appear eg on the personalisation page, it first appears as personalisa and then the final letters appear. Other than that phone is good so far.
