Jun 11, 2010Just recently I had an Icon show up just blow the clock on my home screen that looks like a black circle with a downward diagonal arrow in the middle of it.

BB Storm 9500 :: New Message Indicator Stuck For GMail Account
Jun 9, 2010The new message indicator on my phone is always showing on my GMail account even when there are no new messages when I unlock my phone. However, if I open the email account (and find no new messages), and then close it to go back to the home screen, magically the icon has disappeared. A fix, right? Except when I relock the phone, the same issue keeps recurring.Battery pulls and restoring the OS does not help.

Jan 3, 2010My Torch 9800 will show messages or emails in the top center display. However, there are no emails or messages in the folders. This number will increase over time & the only way to clear it is to remove the battery. Bell can't solve this & I'm not about to pay for customer service. I'll switch to an iPhone first.

Jul 18, 2010I downloaded an application through it and after that it asked me if i wanted to update my AppWorld. And I said yes it installed the new one and restarted the phone but now AppWorld Icon is gone! the program is installed I can see it installed in the Options but the icon is gone, so i cant use it. Jun 14, 2010I have an unlocked storm and use tmobile as my carrier. Two weeks ago I found that my browser icon had disappeared. I stopped recieving emails and no messages from blackberry messenger. I called Tmobile and they referred me to RIM. When talking to the folks at RIM they say its a Tmobile issue.Host routing table has no entries and no browser or email service books.

Apr 10, 2010I just got my phone yesteday and I started downloading apps. I woke up this morning and the App World icon is gone. I've checked all the folders and I didn't accidentally move it. I've tried reinstalling it, but it still won't show up. I've rebooted the phone with QuickPull and nothing has changed.I'm also having the issue that some of the apps I emailed to my hotmail account won't click thru to the AppWorld either.Basically AppWorld is messed up, but reboots and reinstalls haven't worked.

May 31, 2010A few days ago I performed the recent update to my 9530 Storm. Things work a lot smoother and faster, which is great, however I notice my Music icon has disappeared since then. And not just gone, but COMPLETELY gone! I have no desktop icon for music, nor is it located under my Media icon. Actually, it is not located anywhere under any folder in the entire device. I know that my music is still somewhere in there, however, as I can access them (begrudgingly) by doing the following: Media --> *Blackberry button* --> Explore --> Media Card --> Blackberry --> Music And there they are! So, my question is this: HOW do I get the shortcut to appear on my main page, as well as under the Media icon, again?

May 24, 2011About 24 hours ago, a message icon appeared on my Storm after receiving a phone call. It still is there, right under the date, and it has a red asterisk on it. Initially there was also a red asterisk on the gmail icon, but there are no emails saved, no messages unread or saved anywhere. May 4, 2010My Storm 1 crashed Sunday night with message on screen stating 'Reload Softwares 552'. I called Verizon Tech Support and they just ended up giving me a brand new Storm 2 for free!
