Just bought an unlocked blackberry storm. My service sim card is cincinnati bell. My sim card offers text, phone, email and internet. The phone works with texting and phone calls recieved and sent. I have no internet or email. Not even a browser icon can be found on the phone.
View 5 RepliesI have an unlocked storm and use tmobile as my carrier. Two weeks ago I found that my browser icon had disappeared. I stopped recieving emails and no messages from blackberry messenger. I called Tmobile and they referred me to RIM. When talking to the folks at RIM they say its a Tmobile issue.Host routing table has no entries and no browser or email service books.

Brought my first BB yesterday,a Storm 2 as I hated my iphone - however my BB days could be numbered as first impressions are not so good !Got it unlocked through Vodaphone onto the Orange network as my Iphone contract still has 20 months to go !I cannot connect to the internet unless I am at home and connect through my wifi ?I get "This is a wifi service.Please ensure your device has an active wifi connection and try again "Is this one of many problems that I will get as i am on orange and not Voda ?Also can the memory be increased for music etc ?
View 4 Replies View RelatedI unlocked my 9530 and everything works great except I cant make or receive calls and so I went through the trouble shooting process from blackberry and I need to switch my active phone number and it said to click on my number on the phone screen and switch to the number I need to be there, well I try clicking on the number and nothing happens so I cant figure out what else to try.
View 5 Replies View RelatedI bought a 9530 and Unlocked it. I inserted my ATT sim card and it won't make or receive calls. I am not to worried about the data plan at this point. I just want be able to call and get calls. Am I missing something? The phone was from Verizon. I unlocked it but when I restore connections, it still says verizon wireless as the network, even with my ATT sim card installed.

Every time I try to go to a full site, it displays a loading bar and after that it just shows a blank screen. Even when I try to search on google, the result page is always blank. I installed my backup to reinstall my contacts but I now have no browser and the instructions of register now from the Advance options does not work!!! It stays blank. My phone is working with calls and text but no Internet? It was working fine prior to OS update. How do I get my Internet back and my Browser?
I see all these great post for those on At&T and Verizon, but no one is listing any info to those users that are not paying 100.00 + bucks a month! Im in California and am using Cricket paying only 45.00 per month with unlimited text, calls, and internet. I paid $75.00 for the BB 9530 and $30.00 to flash. I surely dont want to pay another 30.00 to re-flash the phone just to get the internet back that was working fine prior to OS upgrade.
I was going to try and log on to the internet using my storm 9530 and i noticed that i don't have a "browser" icon in my menu applications, so i couldn't access the internet to surf or download anything.. can anyone help me on how i could get the browser icon? i don't remember ever deleting any applications on my phone
