It would be beneficial if the end user could add an application to the list of apps that are accessible from the Control Panel when the iPhone is locked. This application would be a "favorite" or essential application and one that is not an integral application that is supplied by Apple as part of the device.

I found (looking from both PC-suite and via phone's application manager) that I had new installs of Fr0MA_0x2000E2FC, the Fr0MA_installer, MDM_Client, Media DS Plugin, MMS DS Plugin, PIPS Installer,etc. Never saw them earlier.
These are new to me, but web searches show they can be associated with digital rights. However, given potential power of the Apps from a remote site I was worried.
1. If I remove them is there any risk to phone use (i.e., if needed can I reinstall them).
2. Where are they likely to have recently appeared from (another app's support, malware, T-mobile or Nokia).

View 15 Replies View RelatedOk, so after weeks of failed attempts to resolve this problem I am hoping a new support thread may be able to help please? BB Desktop software has been installed on my PC (Windows XP) for a couple of years all working fine. Then one day a few weeks ago it came up with a message 'Unable able to find Blackberry Desktop Software .MSI' and stopped working.There seem to be lots of forums with this problem but have been unable to find one which has eventually resolved the problem (Previous threads on the BB suuport suggest step 1 (below) but this is part of the problem).
1. I tried to remove the BB DT software from the windows control panel ' remove programs'. When the BB DT software is selected it alerts it is unable to remove as it can not locate 'Blackberry Desktop Software .MSI'
2. Run a file search for 'Blackberry Desktop Software .MSI' but no results found.
3. Next step was to try and remove the software using Cleaner without success - same problem as Step 1.
4. Next attempt was to try and overwrite the software downloading a new version from the BB website, all looked good until the final step of installation when it alerted that existing BB software was detected and needed to be removed before the new version could be installed. (Tried steps 1 and 3 again without success).
5. Final attempt was to reload the BB software from the original BB disc - same results as step 3.
I have BB DT on my PC which does not work, will not uninstall and will not upgrade (or overwrite).
i was wondering if any one expert here knows any app for symbian 3/anna where i can control for my pc (some features i need) with any program made for symbian?i have installed symRdp but it hands after few seconds i know is for 5th edition phones is it needs some run time program?

Does anyone know how to see or scroll up or down on the iPhone 4 Email Signature panel?
Background: I have a long signature for my iPhone email, however, when I went to edit it, the panel will not display anything other than the last line. It will not let me scroll up further to make edits. Quite clearly this is an application glitch which needs to be sorted by Apple.

With my old Xperia Z1c, when adaptive brightness is on and the environment light is darkest, the screen brightness may be adjusted to, let's say, 0. Even you drag the brightness control bar to leftmost, the dimmest brightness you can get is still 0. But in Xperia Z5, you can go dimmer than that with the control bar, and this dim cannot be achieved using the same control bar if you disable the adaptive brightness. If one component cannot do something in manual mode, should not be able to do that thing in automatic mode either. So I believe that this is a bug.
View 8 Replies View RelatedI have been using iPhone 4, 5 and now 6. iPhone 6 has been making an unusual clicking noise when i touch / press bottom panel. It is normal to press bottom panel while clicking home button. I have shown it to Apple Genius Bar in Dublin CA and they could see and hear the bottom panel clicking.Â
It is difficult to hear the clicking noise in the store due to surrounding noise. i have uploaded a video to make it simpler for Apple to investigate. URL...I am running out of options with Apple Genius technicians. I can reproduce the problem after removing the case too.

If I try to go into the settings menu again the screen is blank, the options and exit buttons are at the buttom but the list of options is empty.I tried a hard reset and the same thing happens . View 2 Replies View RelatedMy Verizon Lg G3 (VS98523C) just recently received the 5.0.1 update and I'm noticing that when I swipe down the notications panel, it's the same as before (I'd heard I would have to swipe down twice or with two fingers).
Also, my lockscreen is the same as before. Yes, I get the new style notifications but I'm also able to put widgets on it (I read that was gone). And, when there is a notification on my lockscreen, and I tap it to get to that info, I'm then asked to swipe the whole screen again.
Did I not get the full update?
My Notification is acting really wierd after i updated my phone today recently.
I am using this phone from past 1 year and i am so happy with my device that it works so perfectly which i can brag about and i love all the updates from sony and i do update on the very first day.
But today this so shocking first time after today's system update my Notification panel is behaving worst it just scrolls down no matter what i am doing. Even while typing this it just come scrolling down,but while doing other things it is very upsetting.
I even immediately restarted by nothing new.
I am trying the pressure test with pressure sensor to test it's waterproofing or not.The value doesn't goes up when I press the panel and the value dropped by one when I release.Then when I hold the three holes at the bottom and press again, the value goes up by 5-6.It is normal the value doesn't raise if I didn't close the three holes?

Also the call, hang up, menu button and the back buttons aren't working either. The lights for them are burnt out as well. But there is no water damage I am aware of. (my warentee is out too). The touch screen still works too.

Can the panel be changed under warranty? I guess the fading is to be a manufacturing defect, as another extensively used 8 months old C7-00 of ours still look new. There's no way to dismiss it, and I can't seem to find a system setting to prevent the notification from appearing. Is this just how TouchWiz is, or am I missing a setting somewhere to turn it off?

I have gone into settings and have not been able to adjust it. When I go into the Setting panel I select the Notifications panel button and all it has is a check mark for Brightness adjustment, that's it nothing else. How can I adjust this?

The sticky pad holding it onto the phone just isn't that sticky.Under the blackberry warranty terms it states "...that the BlackBerry Hardware will be free from defects in workmanship and materials" sureley this is covered as it's a defect in the materials?
