View 1 RepliesI have a user whose Outlook email client syncs with Blackberry. The device is running on BES. The user has some distribution lists created in Outlook, which can be used for sending emails from the Blackberry. Is it possible to open/view contacts' details within the distribution list? Not sure if it matters but in this case the user is using Bold 9000.
View 2 Replies View RelatedMy goal is to make a back up of my iPhone contacts, preferably in a printed list. I figured the way to do that would be to somehow merge my phone contacts into my Google Contacts on my MacBook (however, I do not want to merge my Gmail Contacts into my phone, as there are 100s of contacts there I do not want/need on my phone, so I am proceeding cautiously). Under Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendar >iCloud. I have Contacts "On" (but have not done an iCloud backup FWIW because I am not sure my data is less than 5gb). Doing this alone does not work.
Info:
iPhone 3GS, iOS 4.3.3, version 4.3.5
I just downloaded the new OS, and for some reason my contacts got messed up.
Some contacts were tripled, and doubled, some numbers were moved to different contacts, or deleted.
Is there a simple, or any kind of way to get back my old contacts list from a previous backup, while at the same time keeping the new OS, and replacing only this contact list?
I just downloaded the Blackberry Desktop Software for my Mac and Clicked on Backup, and Sync, and restore, and all my contacts got deleted! How can I get them back!

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have not secured my taken pictures to OneDrive / Dropbox, but I thought a single TWRP backup (on a USB OTG) would be enough.
I was using Edgar28's XtreStoLite 2.1, and wanted to put 2.2 on the S6. I knew v2.2 needed a new bootloader and modem to be loaded in ODIN, so I did.
Before I did that, I made the TWRP backup on the usb stick, so if anything would happen I could go back.
Well, as I usually did with my Note 4 when installing a new ROM, I completely wiped everything except for the microSD card and the USB OTG.
But at that point I forgot the S6 doesn't use the microSD so I would probably be lost of all the photo's (yes because I also forgot to set up OneDrive).
Then I realised I had to go back because I forgot about my photo's. So I put back the modem and boatloader for XtreStoLite 2.1 and loaded the TWRP backup in the restore.
I hoped it'd start right up, but it does not. It comes in a bootloop, even before the animated samsung logo.
So then I tried installing XtreStoLite 2.1 without a wipe, and the system started but I couldn't see my photo's, the were gone.
Then I loaded the original firmware via odin over the backup, and I did see the photo's, but they were all grayed out. Like they were there but you wouldn't be able to see them.
What can I do to restore the photo's from the TWRP backup?
I backed up my 3g to the cloud with all of my contacts. I now have an iphone4 and want to retrieve those contacts.

The screen on my phone is broken so I can't access any of the information on my phone. I need the phone numbers for work and its very important that I can get them back. The lady at the phone store wasn't able to retrieve the numbers, but told me to get on here and it would work if I hook a cord up to the phone. I never updated my account or had an email account associated with my phone and updates on this site. How can I get the numbers back?
View 3 Replies View RelatedI has installed the Desktop Manager in August and I'm SURE I stored all my contacts from address book (over 300 personal and prof. number) as well as all my pictures and docs. After my telephone was stolen, I purchased a new 9700 model, and ran the update via the Desktop Manager, but unfortunately, not all my contacts are here. The application just retrieved a few email address. I am definitely sure my previous address book is stored somewhere in my PC and could be reloaded.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI returned my Blackberry for repair and received a new Blackberry. However, my contact list was not moved to the new phone. At Swisscom (swiss provider) they told me to obtain this at the Desktopmanager at Blackberry's website. But now I am lost, do not know what/where to do?
View 1 Replies View RelatedWhen I add specific contacs to a group, I do not see that contact listed under the main contacts list. They are available only under the groups. It looks like a bug with the xperia neo v. Is there a way I can have the contact seen in both the main contacts list and in the groups? I use the xperia neo v which is upgraded with ICS 4.0.4
View 3 Replies View RelatedI've just upgraded to the Z5. My own number on my contacts list is set at 00 0000000000 and it won't let me edit it to change it! I've worked out how to manually sync contacts profile pics from FB onto my contacts list, but it won't let me do it on my own contact details. (Basically, in text messaging, pics of my contacts are there, but I can't link mine to do the same).
View 9 Replies View RelatedLove the phone - just got a really irritating problem. I've synced my phone with my gmail account - the My Contacts list has my key contact email addresses. Then I have multiple groups within gmail account relating to work emails etc, nearly 500 odd.
On the phone, when I click my 'Contacts' button, initially it showed all my phone number contacts, as well all google email contacts mixed with them. I corrected this by going to 'display options' to select 'display only contacts with phone numbers', so that I didn't have to trawl through random email addresses mixed with my proper phone contacts. Great, sorted.
But, when I go to compose a text message - if it is to one or two specific contacts it is fine...I just type their name and it comes up. If I want to scroll through all my phone contacts to send the same message to multiple contacts, big problem - I press that envelope button in the top right corner next to 'enter recipient', and it takes me to the Contacts list, but here it still shows ALL 600 odd contacts with phone contacts still mixed with google email contacts, which is impossible to scroll through and select multiple people to send a text message to....Does anyone know how to sort this out?!??!
When your BB is locked, you can press the Emergency button and select a number to dial. I was just wondering if there is a way to add another custom number in there? Thought it would be good for people in my company to be able to put a personal emergency contact in there in case they are in an accident, because our company phones lock automatically after a short period.
View 1 Replies View RelatedToday my entire contact list disappeared. Also, in the text messages app my recipients cellphone phone numbers are displayed but only some of the contact names are displayed.

I find this artikel say :To determine the Sent date in the message on the smartphone, the BlackBerry Device Software searches the message in the user's inbox for dates in the following order:PostedDateDeliveredDateCreatedDateThe date that is found first is displayed as the Sent date in the message on the smartphone.( If CreateDate = time on the smartphone, then the date will determine group by this sorting for earliest time by that order ). is that right?
