When your BB is locked, you can press the Emergency button and select a number to dial. I was just wondering if there is a way to add another custom number in there? Thought it would be good for people in my company to be able to put a personal emergency contact in there in case they are in an accident, because our company phones lock automatically after a short period.

In the meantime I got a new SIM issued and put it in my old Blackberry for him to use. 4 days later he found the phone. I took it into AT&T to have the SIM changed over and we are unable to get past the screen that says Emergency call only and displays a number pad. The screen saver says in red Iphone is disabled connect to iTunes. I did bring it to my house to try and connect to itunes but when I did that it asks me to put the password of the phone into the phone, which I cannot do as it only will let me make emergency calls...

I recently sent in my Z3 to the Sony repair center for some reception issues. When it came back, My phone is locked with the message on the top left of the screen saying "SIM Is Perso Locked". I now have to enter a SIM network unlock PIN which I do not have. I have called Sony and they could not provide a code. I have received one from my phone carrier (Wind Mobile) but that did not work.Is my phone now locked to Wind Mobile? And how would I receive a proper unlock code?

Problem is with my fat fingers is that I keep knocking this and so bringing up the option to deal. Luckily I've always noticed and then cancelled so no mishaps yet.

After numerous problems with BB I've cut my losses and got an iPhone. All my contacts are backed up on BB Protect as problems with my BB meant I couldn't back up to BB desktop software. However now I can't access them.My provider (vodaffone) transfered my SIM to a MicroSIM to use with my new iphone so the original normal sized SIM I have is no longer functioning meaning I cannot use the BB handset to download the contacts from BB Protect. We tried to do this in the Vodafone shop with no success as BB protect wouldn't recognise the new device and wanted the old one which I no longer have (I've had 5 in 7 months).All I want to do is get a list of the 300 contacts locked away in BB protect in any form. I don't even care if i have to sit and type them all in again..

The switch for showing my number is locked. My iPhone shows unknown number when I call someone. I think it has something to do with my iCloud account. I tried to put my SIM card into another iPhone and my number showed. So I got a new iPhone and downloaded my iCloud profile to the new iPhone and the same problem was back. I started this iCloud profile with a 3s iPhone with a diffrent telephone company and a diffrent telephone number.

I have a user whose Outlook email client syncs with Blackberry. The device is running on BES. The user has some distribution lists created in Outlook, which can be used for sending emails from the Blackberry. Is it possible to open/view contacts' details within the distribution list? Not sure if it matters but in this case the user is using Bold 9000.

On my old Nokias it was possible to view the contact list with both the name and number of each contact when looking at the contact list i.e. When sending a SMS. But due to having my phone on lock - i can see its a blocked number but there is no option to decline. If i unlock my phone it automatically answers the call.

For the first time today I could pause on a contact name and it would automatically show the number for that person under the name. I scrolled thru my contacts later and it doesn't do it anymore. I liked that option and would like to "turn it on" if possible. I've had my bold for about 3 mons and it has never done it b4 or again. Just once just today. I'm running os .714 on TMO if that matters or is important.
