This is so basic that I must have missed it.On the X6, is there any way of diplaying the name AND NUMBER of your contacts in a list, without having to click on the name?

For the first time today I could pause on a contact name and it would automatically show the number for that person under the name. I scrolled thru my contacts later and it doesn't do it anymore. I liked that option and would like to "turn it on" if possible. I've had my bold for about 3 mons and it has never done it b4 or again. Just once just today. I'm running os .714 on TMO if that matters or is important.

On my old Nokias it was possible to view the contact list with both the name and number of each contact when looking at the contact list i.e. When sending a SMS. Is it possible on the E72 to display the number too? At the moment all I can see is the name. I have had a quick look around the menus and couldn't find it anywhere.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI have just bought a Nokia 2220 slide, and have always had Nokias and loved them, as easy to use. However, I can not make this phone display the number that is calling? For example I have added my home number as a contact, as well as my partners mobile, and both phones when they ring it comes up as "call" and then if I miss the call, it states (no number). And I know for a fact both of these numbers are not private. Is there a setting I need to change to make the number display? I have turned on my info display for other callers, but this has not helped.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI have an iPhone 4S, running iOS 5.1.1 (9B206). About two weeks ago (not really sure when I noticed) a phone number appeared at the bottom of my Favorites list. The number is for a person that I deleted from Contacts some months ago. The number is not in the Contact list anywhere, the contact does not exist. I've tried recreating the contact (and Favorites then shows the name) and then deleting the contact, and its still there in the Favorites list. There is a facetime icon next to the number. If I turn off Facetime, the number disappears.

I have E72-1 with 023.002 FW and whenever in stand by mode I press a number key several times quickly, the phone locks for a couple of seconds before displaying the numbers. If I press different numbers in sequence it's fine but whenever I press the same number quickly several times it happens. For example try to press the number 0 five times or more very fast and tell me if it displays them as you are pressing. I formatted the phone but it didn't cure the problem.

If I change the "Contacts to display" option to phone memory and sim memory, or sim memory alone for that matter, it displays all the contacts stored on my sim, however no contacts are displayed when I choose phone memory alone. I have tried copying all my contacts from sim back to the phone and still nothing. It's weird because when I do a memory details check on my phone's memory, it's saying that there are 83 contacts stored. Even if I try to manually add a new contact to the phone memory, it STILL is not showing up in my contacts list. I have had this phone about 5 months now and this problem only occurred about a week ago, before that everything was working just fine.

View 8 Replies View RelatedJust upgraded to S5 about a week ago and I'm finding that several of my downloaded apps are not showing up in the app list, including pre-installed apps like Kindle. Their accompanying widgets show up in the widget list, but the actual app icon is missing from the app list, the only way I can get to the app is either by adding the large widget to a home screen or by going into the playstore and searching for the app. I've tried uninstalling the app and reinstalling it but it doesn't work. In the case of the Kindle app I can't completely uninstall it since it's pre-loaded. Any other way than reformat the phone completely?

View 9 Replies View RelatedEvery time I get a new SMS from someone on my contact list, and try to view their SMS it only shows the number of the person and not the name on the SMS list. When I search for the person on my list, and sms him/her it redirects to the conversation, but with the updated name instead of the number. However as soon as I get a new SMS it only shows the number once again.
View 9 Replies View RelatedAfter certain time in the phone all incoming calls show the same number in caller ID.The number that is shown will be the last call received before the problem starts.The call log shows the correct number but when call is received the same number is shown.This continues till the phone is reset. But it reverts back to the same issue after some time.I thought this was a problem with the phone and changed Handset and SIM card also, but still the problem came back after a couple of months. My service provider is not able to help me. I tried updating the software in the old phone but still the problem was there.This is driving me crazy since there are many calls I dont want to attend.

I've contacted Orange and they sent me a text to update my settings. This didn't solve the problem. Does anyone know why and how I can re establish it? Its such a quicker way of access contacts than pressing contact key.
I find that I call and message the same people more regularly than the rest of my phonebook. As such, I believe it would be much easier to have a "Favorites" or a "Recently Used" section at the start of my phonebook to quickly find my most commonly contacted friends.
The "Recently Used" section could be similar to how Microsoft Word works where it saves your last 10 used fonts at the top of the menu when you click to change the font of your text. How do I go about suggesting this to Nokia to update their software?
Can anyone assist with resolving the problem I have with downloading of the contacts list from a Samsung Galaxy Gio to the CK-200? I also find it strange that when pairing the devices, the phone does not request the code 0000 that is displayed by the CK-200.The other problem experienced is the breaking up of the incoming callers voice and a loud humming noise.The CK-200 has V4.0 software.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a new problem to update with FP2. Suddenly last evening I noticed that all my contacts are showing as unnamed, although their details are intact. Just the names are missing. The whatsapp favorites/contacts list looks fine and the contact search before making a call is also identifying the contacts. The names have disappeared only from the master contacts list. I tried doing the usual restart couple of times.Also did a Nokia sync but the issue hasn't been resolved. I'm worried about restoring the backup lest the problem remains.

I'm really confused here I have a E72 which I sync with a exchange server (Contacts, calendar and mail).The sync part seems to work fine.However, I would also like to sync Notes and have the ability to SMS from my computer. That's where I thought Ovi Suite came into the picture but I'm having some problems:When sending SMS from Ovi Suite: I enter name of the contact the name appears with a preview of the phone number in the format "070-783XXXX", when I try to send it says invalid format so I need to enter the number manually in the format "070783XXXX" to be able to send the SMSWhen I update a contact in Outlook, the contact is updated in phone, but not in Ovi SuiteWhen I use outlook number formats (specifying country, area code etc) the number appears as "+46 (070) 783XXXX", but then number recognition doesn't seem to work on incoming calls. What I want to accomplish and wonder if it is at all possible is:Manage my contacts, calendar and mail in Outlook. Sync through MfEReach my contacts from Ovi Suite to be able to send SMS to themUse Ovi Suite to manage Map files, Music, and other phone files.Use Ovi Suite to Sync Notes from Outlook.I'm I on the right track here?
