I have had my work email address added to my Blackberry smartphone. Through this proccess all the data on my phone was lost.
However I made a backup using Blackberry Desktop Manager. When I restore the backup I made, none of the contacts are added back to my phone.
I wish to know how to back up all of the items ticked below from my iphone 3 to my iphone 4

I also tried to restore specific items.... the option to restore contacts does not allow me to tick it for restoration. I have a Bold 9700, abt 2.5 yrs old. Due to some glitch the complete contacts list is in the back-up, my google sync has only half !!

I have backed up data via Desktop Manager for a Curve 8520 which has recently been stolen. I would like to import only the Contact List contained in that back up data from the stolen device to a new Curve 8520. However I do not see any method to do that other than to "Import Files" to the new Curve from the backup data via Desk Top Manager from PC. Is that possible or is that not the mechanism to accomplish this??
View 4 Replies View RelatedMy Nokia C5-00 was suddenly switch off, i gave it to nearest nokia care, i tried to restore backup the contacts(which i took from my phone option) from my memory card to system and tried to open the contacts in notepad, but all the contacts are in unreadeable format. see the attached contact which i got from my mobile after taking the backup and let me know a solution to open all the contacts. Since i lost all my contacts from my phone i need it badly.
I am having 356 contacts totally, all ar opening like same in some encoded format.

I am having difficulty resetting the Contact List default, so I can synchronize my phone and Outlook email contacts and calendar. I recently added a gmail account and this has become the default. I need to reset the Contact List back.I have deleted the gmail account from my phone and restored older backups, this doesn't work.
I am trying to transfer all of my contacts from from an older torch 9800 to a new torch 9800 but only a portion of the contacts are being copied. I have tried backup-restore via desktop software etc... but it's not copying the complete list. Tried to do it at AT&T store but that just duplicated the 425 contacts that I all ready had. After I manually deleted all of the duplicates....Tried again to no avail.

The emails and phone numbers in this list work fine for other models we have (9650,etc.) But users with new BB Torch 9800 can not click on the phone numbers or emails any more. Our provider is ATT. The OS I believe is 6.0.0.246.
