Samsung :: M540 - Cannot Transfer My Contact List To A Yada YD-V22 Hands Free Device
Jan 30, 2010I have a M540 and I am trying to transfer my contact list to a Yada YD-V22 hands free device. No matter what I have tried I haven't been able to do it. I keep getting stuck on downloading please wait. I have followed the instructions in the Yada manual, and there was no help in the Samsung manual. The device will answer the phone but there is no way I can voice dial from it. I have spent the last couple of hours trying to do this. Any help would be appreciated or the Yada goes back to the store where I bought it. With hands free being the law starting Monday in Ontario I would sure like to get it working.

May 5, 2011I recently needed to re-add all of my email accounts, doing it in a hurry I forgot to un-check 'sync contacts' when setting up my hotmail email. I now have 300+ random email addresses in my contacts list that I cant seem to get rid of. I had a look on desktop manager and all i could do was delete all -therefore including the numbers in my contact list too...obviously i don't want to do this....just want to get rid of all of these email addresses! I am having difficulty resetting the Contact List default, so I can synchronize my phone and Outlook email contacts and calendar. I recently added a gmail account and this has become the default. I need to reset the Contact List back.I have deleted the gmail account from my phone and restored older backups, this doesn't work.

Aug 16, 2011I am trying to transfer all of my contacts from from an older torch 9800 to a new torch 9800 but only a portion of the contacts are being copied. I have tried backup-restore via desktop software etc... but it's not copying the complete list. Tried to do it at AT&T store but that just duplicated the 425 contacts that I all ready had. After I manually deleted all of the duplicates....Tried again to no avail.

Have searched a lot about this problem, but looks like nobody has faced this before.hen I open my contact list (or the message list) and then press the back button, they don't close. I have to press the home button to come out of them forcefully. I then can kill the messaging app by going in task manager but there is no such option for contact list. This problem occurs only for contact list and message list. Rest all apps I am able to close by pressing back button.

Aug 9, 2010I have a 5800 that I have been troubleshooting for the past Month. We have been to the provider who has now replaced the phone twice in the past two months. Calling out appears to be fine. However when customizing the phone I am unable to set picture and a ringtone to a contact in the contact list. The Contact is saved on the phone. When the person dials in the picture will display correctly but the ringtone will play a default ring not a custom file as selected. This has heppened on all 3 of the phones. I am down to the OS of the phone which the provider says is up to date.
