How can I modify the server POP and Mail addresses and ports to configure my mail connection? I know there are advanced parameters but only accessible once you have already make initial setup.

The user has some distribution lists created in Outlook, which can be used for sending emails from the Blackberry. Is it possible to open/view contacts' details within the distribution list? View 5 Replies View Relatedi am using 9360. while activating hotmail, google, yahoo mail accounts etc. i do not have any problem. but while i am activating my company mail account server rejects me and gives "wrong password" answer to me. i have just discuss with my mail server this topic. they give me this answer: "blackberry using the docode service and we are using courier service thats why they are given problem and not working properly . "but they can not give any idea or any other answer about my problems answer. actually we are using company mail accounts on machines which were activeted before. but at now we can not active any new account or old accounts to new machines. we can not active any company mail account from last week. they gave me server setting and i tried with those too.. but at whole time the same answer "wrong password." we excatly know the pw but server do not give permission to activation.
View 4 Replies View RelatedIs Ovi suite meant to modify every photo on my computer?
I installed it today and found that my computer was running really slow. After a couple of hours of this I realised that it was scanning every photo under My Pictures (about 50GB of them). I don't really want to sync these with my phone, so I gather there's no point in having Ovi suite scan them. I went through the menu (Tools->Options->Photos) and changed the photos folders location to stop this (it required a few restarts, but it stopped scanning).
All the photos it had already scanned were sill in the photos tab of Ovi suite so I deleted them. I then tried to delete them from the "Deleted photos" section (without deleting them from the hard drive) but this again started thrashing my hard drive and was taking a very long time.
I went to look at my photos and noticed the the modified time on a lot had changed (I sometimes use the last modified time to order my photos). What has been modifying my photos!!
I compared one of the photos with a backup and they look the same but there are differences in the actual file data.

I've received an email notification from Activation Server (donotreply@blackberry.com) telling me that I have successfully set up my email account with my Blackberry and that I should begin to receive new messages in approx. 20 minutes...strange though, I set up my email account over a year ago and have been receiving emails without problem.

View 3 Replies View RelatedWell as the title says, I modified framework-res.apk to change navbar dpi (using apktool and copying original META-INF folder and Manifest in my compiled apk). The problem is that when I push the framework to the N5, it wont boot.

How to modify the recents app view, I want it to be Horizontal and Full size app Cards (just like iOS 9 :P ). So, I have done this in the past, kitkat , jb etc, but not in lollipop or marshmallow.... I've decompiled the systemUI.apk and I don't see any way to do it. I really want to do this !!

So my individual email account on our web server recently got messed up. All emails up to a certain date (let's say Sept 2012) were wiped out. My backups are spotty, there's no copies of my emails on the server, nor on any device (all my devices are IMAP'ed to the web server).
My blackberry has a copy of all my emails, but I don't know how to copy them back onto the server. Is there any way I can reconcile it up through IMAP? Or can I export it to Outlook, and then force it there back onto the server?
I've been experimenting to find the best video setting for video playback in our E71. So far, the best I've come up with is: 320x240, MP4 video at 15fps/384kbps, AAC audio at 128kbps/44100MHz. I set the audio to such for music videos.

Past versions of Android allowed one to override build.prop settings using a local.prop file on the userdata partition, but I've been unable to get that working.
It looks like in the past you could put qemu.sf.lcd_density into /data/local.prop, but that's not working for me, nor is any permutation of that variable or location of local.prop that I've tried. Did Google disable local.prop or officially disallow overriding of read only settings?
I cannot send or recieve sms messages with my phone. this has not always been the case. At this time, it has no message center number in the settings. Whenever I try to put it in and save it, I get the message "storing SMS parameters error" Is this a SIM card issue, or a phone issue? If the handset has a nescessary update, please let me know. Has anyone else encountered this?

I've only had my MOTOACTV for a few weeks, and its been slowly developing my fitness music playlist. I thought this was a really cool concept when I got the device. Now the issue is, I have a lot of music on my device that I just like to listen to on a regular basis, but not so much during a workout. When I was working out and those songs that kill my buzz play I skip them, but even with a second of playtime, it logged the music with my average heart rate and activity during the song... which then placed the song into my fitness playlist.

I'm running VZW's OS 5.0.0.975. When I open my Advanced Security Options, then select TLS, I do not have an option named "Allow HTTPS Redirection".
