So when I go to the advanced calling section of menu and click to enable I get this error message.
View 5 Replies View RelatedI have google voice on Verizon and Advanced calling activated. When I call someone else using the native dialer using GV to make the call with advanced calling I do not get the HD icon, but the Camera buttons can be pressed for the video call, but when I do it says "the other person can not accept video calls at this time".
The other person's G4 Camera buttons are grayed out. When I dial the same person not using my GV number everything works the way Advanced calling should, I get the HD voice Icon and we can do a video call. How to get Advanced calling to work with GV on Verizon?
I activated advanced calling. With carrier too. Have kept it off but thought would turn on and give a go. I can't even get a call to connect. It says dialing then boom, call ended. Nothing.Doesn't it default if not in lte zone?
View 2 Replies View RelatedI have a droid turbo. I work in the city so there are cell towers everywhere but my office is in the middle of a building and I have no windows. My calls get dropped or cut in and out unless I turn off the advanced call feature. Other people with different phones have no problems in my office. Can I leave this feature off all the time? The one day I did leave it off and I was not at work and I tried to make a call and got a message saying the call could not connect so I don't know if it will create other problems. I usually have two bars in my office and 4G lte. We have Wi-Fi but are not allowed to use it.
View 2 Replies View RelatedAnother problem with my new 5230: I have a pre-paid card (Pay and Go, Proximus, Belgium).I left my phone standby (and ... the battery still doesn't last 1 day, see other post) all day.I checked the amount of pre-paid credit I had in the morning.
I checked again a few hours later (and I did not use the phone): credit is decreased !Checked again a few hours later: credit still decreases. this is becoming very expensive (few Euro's a day) so here are my questions:
-anyone any idea what can cause this?
-anyone any idea how I can find out what causes this when no-one knows? ;-)
-how can I disable ALL possible "auto-connections" ?
I am unlikely ever to use the "Video call" facility on my N8.
How do I stop the option being presented in the contacts screen alongside Message and Voice Call? I could not see how to remove this option.
I have a remaining problem with LED blinking light:How to disable this red blincking LED while a call is in progress?I could not find the info on the internet.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI bought a 2nd hand but pretty new S6. It had 3 software on it which has now gone. I have the latest version of Android and I am on "EE" but there is no option for me to turn on "Wifi Calling" The warranty centre who flashed the phone, said they were unable to put EE software on the phone. Any other way to add Wifi calling to the phone??
View 2 Replies View RelatedI currently am running Stock ROM from EE which includes WiFi Calling. I want to use custom ROMs but I cannot due to it not having WiFi Calling, I have asked developers but I have been ignored. I do not have any signal at work nor at home so I rely on WiFi Calling, how do I put it on a custom rom myself?

View 7 Replies View RelatedWhen I do on my newly purchased Samsung Galaxy S6, the volume is way too low to be able to understand anything. If I don't have any noise around me, it's fine, otherwise not. I have the volume all up. I tried this Volume+ app here: [URL] .... but it wouldn't change anything in the volume level.

View 8 Replies View RelatedI have a 2015 Chevy Trax and my Bluetooth connection to my S6 is fine, other than the fact that when I press my steering wheel button to call, it says something along the lines of "This device is not compatible with that" ...
Also, when I plug in to my USB port, it only comes up with Picture/Video multimedia. No music. Which is slightly frustrating as Bluetooth streaming obviously takes battery life away...
Before the Galaxy S6 got released, on the review videos I seen when the phone is laying on its screen and your phone was getting a call, the screen would light up different colors per caller depending on how you have it assigned. How to do that?
View 2 Replies View RelatedI have a Samsung Galaxy S6 on the EE network in the UK. I should have the option to use wifi calling but the option is not present in the settings menus. My phone was not originally supplied by the EE mobile provider, instead I purchased the phone which appears to have come from Italy and has the Italian mobile provider TIM (this is shown on the CSC code on the phone)
How to either change this CSC code to the UK one for EE or at least the generic one for UK specific firmware, or a way of somehow enabling the wifi calling feature - I did look this up but I can't edit the necessary system config (xml) files as they are read-only and my phone is not rooted.
when i'm in a phone call i can't use the mobile phone at all. I mean i get locked in the calling screen and i'm unable to move to desktop, go to drawer menu or just pick some app from recent menu. It didn't happen on other Android phones nor on my old Samsung Galaxy S3.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI bought an international unlocked version of Galaxy S6, was expecting to have the option of Wifi Calling like my S3 does, but it was missing. It should be under 'Connections' but it wasn't there.
Is there a way to have this option back? I need it because I have no reception at all from TMobile at where I work. I used to have 1 bar with my S3, but not this S6. I am starting to unlike it due to other reasons.
Do I need to root it? flash it with a certain ROM?
I came from a note 2 to the s6 and never once had a problem with the phone unlocking in my pocket but it keeps happening with my s6 and it's opening apps and texting and calling people. I don't want to have top set a lock code or anything of I don't have to. If there was a way to stop the phone from lighting up when I get a text I don't think it would unlock but I can't find an option to turn it off.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI'm performing a simple mod for a mate of mine on his S6 (Sm-G920F), which he bought unlocked, but is using on EE. Wifi calling isn't enabled on non EE Firmwares, which has cropped up a few times on here, but it's easy enough to enable.
Basically I rooted the phone (no pingpong for it yet so used CF-Autoroot via odin), and I edited system/csc/others.xml to include the line - <CscFeature_Setting_SupportWifiCall>TRUE</CscFeature_Setting_SupportWifiCall> then enabled Wifi Calling in the phone app settings
This worked like a charm, sent my mate his phone back and all is right in the world...UNTIL he calls me saying that he want's to use a particular paid sport streaming service which detects his phone is rooted and blocks access.
Now I like a challenge, and it doesn't sound beyond the wit of man so I get the device back and try a few things...
1) Remove root via Super SU, rip the unrooted recovery and cache img files from the stock firmware, create my own md5 and flash via Odin.... Flashes but bootloops
2) Flash the stock firmware, create a flashable zip containing a modified others.xml, boot into recovery, flash update via adb... Flashes but bootloops
3) Download the stock EE firmware...Won't flash from Odin
4) Scour the web for a non rooted S6 ROM with Wifi Calling enabled.. So far no joy!
I reckon I must have missed something, any alternate way to enable Wifi Calling or an "Unroot" method that doesn't require a total wipe?

View 1 Replies View RelatedCan't setup my mail accounts on Nokica C3. It only works for default mail services, but if I want to setup other email accounts, I need some way to enter IMAP/POP servers, ports, etc. If I choose "Other" in mail client, I can only enter mail address and password. Then I see message that connection can not be established. I expect to have an ability to enter all mail setting myself, but can't find any way to do it. It is really desappointing.
