As with the previous galaxy phones, you could be on the phone and surf at the same time. On the galaxy s 6, you can't. Is there something I'm doing wrong or will this be covered in the next software update?

I have been using my samsung galaxy pretty heavily being as i just got it a week ago. I have noticed with heavy use it does not last me a whole day. Yesterday i let the battery drain all the way out so that i could completely cycle through. It ended up takeing a little over 3 hours to fully charge again. Was curious how many hrs of usage other people are averageing and how many hrs of charge time?
View 1 Replies View RelatedI finally found a S6 with good button and display, but I think I have again bad luck: from time to time, camera is failing and is not related to low power because I encounter the issue at 80% battery level.
I tried factory reset, clear cache and data, and it comes back. But always, the camera is working after pressing Clear all in Smart Manager. If I simply kill the processes using the standard task manager, the camera shows the same error.
if it's an hardware problem, as I read online, why works after clean all operation? I have stock ROM, without root or special app(just fb, dropbox installed)

If ATT and Verizon enabled wifi calling for our devices would that mean I can send a full quality video to other phones (like imessage) without it being compressed and distorted ? I know imessage uses wifi and their own servers but Im not sure exactly how that works.

I have the latest version of Android and I am on "EE" but there is no option for me to turn on "Wifi Calling" The warranty centre who flashed the phone, said they were unable to put EE software on the phone. I've been using the N97 for some time now. Recently I discover that when I use the web browser to see webpages, some pictures/icons of the webpages won't be able to show correctly and end up showing the broken icon (the icon of a picture torn in half). For example, sometimes the icon of an app in the ovi store can't show correctly and becomes the broken icon. That also happens when I use facebook with the N97, where some avatars of my friends become that broken icon.Does anyone know what the cause of the problem is?

But now I'm having some weird problem where my phone is connected to the wireless but it just won't let me surf the internet or just simpy open my twitter.
I've checked:
1. Amount of bar for the connection: just doing fine, at least it says good connection.
2. My mobile networks: in network mode>> WCDMA only, which I have several time open my internet browser without any fail until now.
I have a 2015 Chevy Trax and my Bluetooth connection to my S6 is fine, other than the fact that when I press my steering wheel button to call, it says something along the lines of "This device is not compatible with that" ...
Also, when I plug in to my USB port, it only comes up with Picture/Video multimedia. No music. Which is slightly frustrating as Bluetooth streaming obviously takes battery life away...
Before the Galaxy S6 got released, on the review videos I seen when the phone is laying on its screen and your phone was getting a call, the screen would light up different colors per caller depending on how you have it assigned. How to do that?
View 2 Replies View RelatedI have a Samsung Galaxy S6 on the EE network in the UK. I should have the option to use wifi calling but the option is not present in the settings menus. My phone was not originally supplied by the EE mobile provider, instead I purchased the phone which appears to have come from Italy and has the Italian mobile provider TIM (this is shown on the CSC code on the phone)
How to either change this CSC code to the UK one for EE or at least the generic one for UK specific firmware, or a way of somehow enabling the wifi calling feature - I did look this up but I can't edit the necessary system config (xml) files as they are read-only and my phone is not rooted.
when i'm in a phone call i can't use the mobile phone at all. I mean i get locked in the calling screen and i'm unable to move to desktop, go to drawer menu or just pick some app from recent menu. It didn't happen on other Android phones nor on my old Samsung Galaxy S3.

I'm sure there are no application running other than browser, i'm using the default browser coming with nokia. Why is this happen? The space in phone memory has plenty of space. Is there a way to have this option back? I need it because I have no reception at all from TMobile at where I work. I used to have 1 bar with my S3, but not this S6. I am starting to unlike it due to other reasons.
Do I need to root it? flash it with a certain ROM?
I came from a note 2 to the s6 and never once had a problem with the phone unlocking in my pocket but it keeps happening with my s6 and it's opening apps and texting and calling people. I don't want to have top set a lock code or anything of I don't have to. If there was a way to stop the phone from lighting up when I get a text I don't think it would unlock but I can't find an option to turn it off.
