I updated my 8530 operating system to 5.0.0.734 a couple of days ago. Today I noticed that I had not been receiving email since the update. When I try to use the email connection, I get "Your device had a problem connecting to the server." Is the server down, or have I caused a problem on my BB by updating the operating system?

So my individual email account on our web server recently got messed up. All emails up to a certain date (let's say Sept 2012) were wiped out. My backups are spotty, there's no copies of my emails on the server, nor on any device (all my devices are IMAP'ed to the web server).
My blackberry has a copy of all my emails, but I don't know how to copy them back onto the server. Is there any way I can reconcile it up through IMAP? Or can I export it to Outlook, and then force it there back onto the server?
I can not get emails and set up only goes as far as "can not connect to server". Any ideas out there? Contacted tmobile, but they finally after 1 hour said it was hotmails fault (could not be validated), but I had email service with the same address last month

However, upon trying to re-install Nokia Messaging Email software, I can't get past the setup process, as I get an error message saying "Unable to connect to server. Try again later.", right after I choose the email service I wish to use. Shouldn't I be asked for my Nokia Email account login at this point, and not which Email service I would like to use? Is the server down or is it a problem with handset?

I have recently done a device switch to my new BB and two email accounts were part of the switch transfer.
One works fine, however my gmail acount has not been receiving messages. When I go into setup email I constantly get 'Cannot connect to server' and then it exits back to the setup menu. This means I cannot edit any email profile I have. Removing the battery and restarting has no effect.
Any way to delete the offending email account and re-add or getting it working.

Hooked it up to my PC and transferred all my Address Book Contacts & Calendar to the phone using Desktop Manager.Next day I got the activation code from my company and put it in and hey presto I was getting emails. Next day I connected it back up to my PC to make some changes to my Calendar and after that the emails stopped.I had to get a new activation code and it was back online however the day after that after I connected again to Desktop Manager it stopped receiving emails again. Back receiving emails again after getting another activation code.Speaking to others in my company who have BB, they have said their contacts & calendar automatically update on the phone when they change it on their PC but it doesn't happen on mine.Any ideas to help me out? Where am I going wrong?After the first time I got the activation code and connected to the PC, it wouldn't sync the Address Book Contacts as it said it was set up for wireless synchronisation but I never set that up?

With very slow browsing that mostly fails by saying "Unable to find the requested server" I have a Dlink router model 2730u. I tried restarting the router, resetting it, scanning for the wifi connection, restarting my BB device, Removing the battery for minutes are restarting again. ALL failed. all the browser settings are on hotspot browser but the wifi will not work.
As above, the screen to allow me to input my own existing e-mail does not appear on the set-up wizard.

I was trying to send out an email today, and my iPhone could not connect to the server. I tried to re-connect multiple times, ultimately deleting the email account from my phone and attempting to re-install it. When I put in all the info into their respective fields and hit "next," all I get is a message that says "Exchange account verification failed." When I go through and save it anyway and try and update emails, it says that it cannot connect to the server. My IT dept. says no changes were made, and I've already tried a restore and restored from a backup, as well.I have no contacts, emails, or calendar on my phone!

Recently at work, they changed our email server. I have tried several times to set up my device to receive work emails both on the device or on my provider's website (AT&T), with no luck. I double, triple, and quad checked all email addresses, passwords, usernames, server names, etc. But I can't link the work email in. Our IT guy is stumped too.
