Went through the Settings -> General -> Software Update method to find 7.1.2 and it has frozen upon installation approx 33% of the way through. It has remained in this state overnight. Â
My phone is not jailbroken or anything like that and I have tried hard resetting it but nothing is happening. When connected to iTunes, all iTunes says is, "To allow access please respond on your phone" which I obviously can't do.Â
So I tried to update my iPhone 3GS to iOS 5.1.1, like iTunes told me to do, and it froze part way through the installation for a couple of hours. I tried to "reset" the iPhone by pressing both the home and power buttons simultaneously, but now iTunes tells me my iPhone is in recovery mode. From my limited knowledge, it seems I need to restore my iPhone, but I don't want to lose anything, like my SMS history.
Is there a way to get out of recovery mode without having to restore?
Blackberry Bold 9900 a couple of months old, froze today. After taking the battery out and replacing it again the phone is responseless. Nothing. Even connecting to PC or charger does nothing...
I see that a lot of people have had trouble with their 9900s not turning on or charging. I've tried connecting the phone to the computer and it will not recognize it, the instructions for making a device recognized is not working either. There was no water damage.
My wife got a new Bold 9900 22 days ago. Today it froze. Rogers tech support emailed a link to update soft wear and now it won't turn on. Message on Mac screen says, after 10 minutes of down loading, CAN'T CONNECT TO DEVISE. Now red light blinks twice and that it. Took out the bat and card then put then back in - zip, zero, nothing. IF RIM HAS BET THE FARM ON THESE NEW MACHINES AND NEW O/S THEY ARE IN DEEP< removed>
i was updating my blackberry last night, and its still on 7% which its moving of that. it wont let me do anything on my phone, ive tried taking the battery out and thats not done anything thats just put it back to 7% again. i need my blackberry for tomorrow so does anyone know how to solve this problem?
So, I went to update my Blackberry curve 8520 and it froze. I followed the instructions that came up on the screen and now it has wiped everything from my phone ie contacts, photos, music etc...it won't reboot or anything!
my phone froze on the reboot screen the other day and now its not turning on at all..i hooked it up to my computer to charge and i dont know what happened after that, it turned off and got as far as the reboot screen..
Reboot froze last night, removed battery umteen times will not fix. BB RIM support spent 5 hrs today went to tier 2 and they could not get phone to load correctly. Reboot still freezes 3/4 of the way through.
I started to update my bold 1900 and only got as far as the backup process where the loading bar has froze on SMS messages (611/1111) I've waited a few hours but nothing has changed and I am afraid if I unplug it my phone will be rendered unusable. What should I do?
I have a Sprint LG G3 phone that froze during the Android App update that it prompted me to do. It seemed that things were going great , and then all of a sudden it was just doing nothing...
Now 1 1/2 hours later the phone is still doing nothing. The Screen is on and has a LG Lifes Good logo on it , along with a pink round ball logo thing... Every once in awhile the screen will flash and get brighter. Other then that it is doing nothing and I can't get it to do anything...
On my Sprint LG G3 cell phone I was prompted to allow a Android update to take place. So I started the update and it seemed like everything was going fine, but after awhile I became concerned due to my phone had seemed to just stop ..
The screen is on , it shows the LG life's Good and Pink dot on the screen.... I took the battery out for about 3 min or so and then put it back in.. I started the phone and it went immediately back to the LG Lifes Good screen...
Its been over an hour , and I am on WiFi..... What do I do now ????? What is my next move ???
So I was in the process of updating my iphone 4s software, it completely froze while it was in the middle of backing up. I disconnected my phone and tried to reboot it but that didnt work. i tried to reconnect it to itunes but it wasnt being read... so i downloaded the new itunes update to see if that would make a difference and it did... except for when i connected my phone to itunes there was a message that said " itunes has detected an iphone in recovery mode. You must restore this iphone before it can be used with itunes." If i restore my phone everything will be deleted & i'm not sure when i did back up, i think it was 2 1/2 months ago. I dnt know what to do, i dont want to lose all my pictures and texts that i currently have on my phone.
I have an iPhone 3Gs and it has froze on the apple logo. I have held the on/off button and the home button together but the apple logo keeps reappearing. What Can I Do?
Screen on my iphone 4s suddenly froze. I am unable to switch off the phone or move the screen, it's just frozen and it's showing that the phone is locked although it has been unlocked and moved to another screen prior to freezing. I am now restoring the phone to it's factory settings and it is still being processed.
I can see that itunes is working on this, but the screen remains frozen and switched on. If this doesn't work and I think that it won't.
i was opening an app when my phone froze, i held the power button till it turned off. it then took over 2 mins to switch off, it will now not turn on or charge. my laptop does not reconise that it is connected to it.
