I am unable to reinstall gtalk on my curve 9300. Initially i deleted the gtalk and i got the msg as "deletion in process and will be complete upon the handset restart". however when i try to reinstall gtalk from the setup options the gtalk icon does not respond.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI got BB Curve 9300 and BB services activated. Recently I got a message that an upgrade for messengers are available for gtalk, yahoo, msn , BB travel.
I was able to upgrade BB travel successfully but for gtalk / yahoo / msn.. all 3 it does not allow me. Nothing happens when I attempt to upgrade..I get a message " please wait " for a second or two..but nothing happes after that even after I hit upgrade on all 3 messengers numerous times.. I got V 5.0 software on BB phone. current upgrading version available for all 3 messengers are 2.5.69.
bought 9300 handset only to upgrade from my 8520. soon as i plugged in and went to desktop software it said phone has upgrade device software available. says currently has 6.0.0.546 and 6.0.0.600 is available. so i follow the steps just like ive done previously on old 8520 to install new software. gets to back up and then says " error occured while downloading software for device,please verify internet connection and try later". so i go to blackberry site and click the device upgrade button. says phone has 6.6.0.207, and 6.6.0.223 is available. so i follow procedure exactly as is written on this support forum for upgrading, which is exactly how i did it anyway. gets part way through the upgrade and then says exactly what error message there was before. What am i doing wrong? desktop and bb site say upgrade is there but both methods fail every single time?

View 1 Replies View RelatedHow can I install back the language pack after upgrading the 9300?Before I upgraded my blackberry software/firmware, my software/firmware was 1875, after when I upgraded from 1875 to 2475, the language pack then went missing.I then found another version of east asian from Vodafone which is the same one as mentioned above, 1875, I can't seem to install the language pack back in after when I've upgraded my phone software.I've deleted the old version of the software in my BB from my computer. My network is Vodafone.Is there a way to reinstall the version 1875 language pack, install it into 2647 language pack? I don't want to load it back into the old version 1875, but to load it in the new version of 2647.

When ever I try to login, I get this error message: Data Services Unavailable. All the time i try to login, I am active on wi-fi connection.
1. Is there a way to make wi-fi connection as primary/default internet access point and not data/3G services
2. How to make gtalk work on wifi connection without data/3g plan.
I recently changed from Airtel to Vodafone when i was in airtel i didnt find any problem during the logging in to the gtalk and market applications bt after I changed by network i am facing this problem?

View 2 Replies View RelatedIs there a known issue with the 9300 not charging. I purchased my first in December 2010 by mid Feb 2011 it had stopped charging. I returned the phone to my carrier in the uk 3. The phone was unrepairable and was replaced under warranty. Now the replacement phone has the same problem but they are saying that it is a user issue and not a warranty issue. If they are to repair it, I need to pay £119 which is ridiculous as I could buy a new one for £179. They have told me that the charging connection is damaged on one of the internal terminals.

I am able to use my enterprise mails, personal mails, BBM, and other applications available in my handset. It is just that Internet does not work.. My OS is version 6 .another colleague of mine who is using OS version 5 had a similar problem but it got resolved after he changed browser settings in Advanced Options- browser- Default Browser configuration- changed from Blackberry browser to Internet Browser - after that again browser options and select all ( support Java script, allow java script pop ups, terminate slow running scripts, show images, use background images, support embedded media) after that Cache options, clear all ( content cache, pushed content, cookie chache) . There after he went to host routing table and register .. Post which after hard boot he was able to access Internet.My problem is my OS version is 6 and I do not have advanced options tab in my handset and hence I am unable to change settings.

However,Things I have tried so far: I have used the desktop software's upgrade function to upgrade but every time I get the message that, there is no upgrade available. I also downloaded my carrier (MTN - South Africa) specific software the "9300M_PBr6.0.0_rel1879_PL6.6.0.124_A6.0.0.448" file and installed it onto my computer. I then connected my BB and tried to upgrade but was still unsuccessful.
