My phone is displaying that I have 1 unread email message but when I go to my email folder, there are none in there. I've checked all my other folders and there are no new messages.
View 4 RepliesIs there a way to clear the email notifier? It shows I have 1 email all the time even when all messages have been checked. I checked text and both email accounts and it always shows 1 email on the upper bar. Is there some way to reset it? It will still show more when I get other emails but if I get 2 it shows 3.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI just got the s2, and i have 4 email accounts (2 work, 1 hotmail, 1 gmail). I have them configured and working, but they are all under the standard mail app (white envelop with blue @). When I get a new message, this icon will show how many unread messages there are. But, it shows for all of my accounts. I'm trying to have separate apps/icons for each email address that'll show some type of "unread messages" notification on the icon itself. Came from a blackberry and i had 4 individual accounts setup, each would have a red star if there was an unread msg in that account. I tried the hotmail and the gmail apps but they don't seem to show anything like this either.

It’s pretty annoying when music stops anytime ther is incoming anything. I’ve gone through settings and what not and haven’t found anything so far.
View 13 Replies View RelatedI used the Email Settings to delete two email addresses I used to use from my Blackberry.The folders are now gone and the email addresses do not show up under Email Settings any longer.HOWEVER, when I go to my messages folder under Options then Inbox Settings,I still see those email addresses just with the Check Box checked off from them under Email Accounts.Is there a way to delete these from this list?

Just went from a storm 1 to a tour and I am loving it. I can't believe how much more app. memory I have!
However, I cannot get my tour device to show up in windows explorer. It connects and I can browse my media card. There is no drive in windows explorer for the device itself. I can connect to desktop manager and back-up my device memory so I know the computer can read my blackberry device. I upgraded the os with no problems.
I am running vista home premium with blackberry os 5.0 from sprint. I am on verizon. I do have mass storage mode enabled and all of those memory settings set to yes (auto connect, etc.). BBSAK and Blackberry Master Control Program see the device as well. I do not use roxio media manager and it is not installed with my desktop manager. It was too slow and clunky when I had my storm so I never bothered with it.
I recently owned the curve 8530 and liked the setting to make the messages appear in bubble format rather then line separated. The Tour that i have now does not have that option. Does anyone know if it exists due to an OS upgrade, or anyway else i can get sms to display in bubbles?

When I get a new email or SMS/MMS text messages it says I have the number plus 1, but I can't find the message or get rid of the icon. I have been searching non-stop for a way to resolve it.This is a problem that has been plaguing me since the 5.0 upgrade. I am a TELUS Tour user and my SMS messages all show the number of the contact, but not their names. However, when I press the BB button, there is a "View Contact" option that takes me to that contact's name and details.Why is this and how can I fix it so it shows the names of my contacts?

I was on phone with Verizon and had me go through the email wizard - POP, email, password, mail server, user name - but no luck. The Verizon rep suggested that I set up a gmail to make it was not my phone - was able to set up a gmail account in 40 seconds - so it is not the phone - called Qwest customer service - the best they could do was get me a guy who handles DSL technical problems - in other words - useless. So, just checking here, if anyone has been able to find a solution to this problem.

View 8 Replies View RelatedI added a new gmail address to my phone, before that, I had my work e-mail, a different gmail address and my blackberry e-mail.All e-mails went directly into the main mailbox.They also went into the separate folders for each specific e-mail address. so if I wanted to only look at e-mails from email address #1, I just had to look in that folder.Well it still works for the first 3 e-mail address, but since I added the new gmail account, the e-mails on the new account only go to the main e-mail message folder.So if I go to the separate folder for the new gmail account it shows no e-mails at all.But if I go to the main inbox, any new e-mails to that account are shown there.Does anyone know how to fix this?I have deleted and re-added this account at least 3 times, I have done everything I know and I still cannot get the e-mails to show up in the separate account folder!

View 4 Replies View RelatedSince last week, after I recieved an "event reminder" e-mail from a co-worker, I can NOT get the 1 new message symbol off of my phone. I have gone through ALL of my message folders for days now. I have pulled the battery 5 times. The stupid yellow message symbol with the number 1 WILL NOT GO AWAY! I don't know what to do.
Oh and another thing... after that day, when I try to put my phone on "silent" it still vibrates, and when I put it on "vibrate" it makes sounds!
I have tried now for several weeks to delete messages on my Facebook app. When I return to the mailbox on facebook, the emails keep coming back. What is the issue that will not allow them to be permenantly deleted and it continues to reload the messages

I have deleted contact photos check email address deleted several contacts, backup the device to no success checked the bb blogs nothing seems to be working and trying to figure out how to "speak" with someone at BB is next to impossible. Is there a Fix without making this my major task in life..

Couldn't display the body part.I am able to receive and display other multiparty html emails with utf-8 encoding, but nothing i send seems to work.I have even changed the HTML content of the email to just "aaa" with no markup, but that doesn't work either.
