I updated the BB Bridge today and after the reboot there is no Bridge icon on my verizon tour 9630. I was working just fine before the update and now nothing. I have rebooted, deleted, reinstalled, look in all the folders, etc.
View 1 RepliesI upgraded to BB App World to 1.0.35 my BB 9630 Tour from US Cellular running v5.0.0484. I have looked in the downloads folder, the apps folder, and every other folder I have on my phone just for GP for that matter but can not find the BB App World Icon. Under the Apps it says that it is installed. I have removed and reinstalled several times and done a battery pull VS a restart more than 10 times. The only thing I have not done is format the phone.

View 4 Replies View RelatedAfter I installed the new operating system I lost a feature. Both my husband and I have the Tour. For example, if you highlight the Games folder and press the Blackberry options, one Tour can choose "edit folder" and pick a new Icon. The other Tour mine is missing that choice. Any fix? If I create my own folder, I have the feature, but not for my Games, Applications and other folder that were there in the old OS.
View 6 Replies View RelatedI had the sotweare problem that everyone has been having lastley yesterday an i couldt fix it in anyway and today i was like wat the heck let me give it another try to i plug my phone in the computer open desktop manager (5.0) an i pressed aplication loader and update softwear an it had some new 5.0 (i already was using 5.0) so i clicked on it and it reset my phone and now it works perfect but im missing my browser.

It backed up and restored most of my data correctly except for my MemoPad and 3rd party applications. When I go to the app loader it only lists the 3rd party apps and not the MemoPad or any other apps on my phone. Anyone have a suggestion?

View 4 Replies View RelatedI just bought a Tour used. I havent activated it yet but through my laptop I installed all my info (contacts etc..) through the desktop manager. The service provider is Sprint. I have noticed that there are some apps/icons missing from the menu. Most importantly there is no web/internet icon/app and no BlackBerry app world icon/app. There are also others missing, Pandora, Sprint Nav, Sprint TV and a few others. These I am pretty sure I can download for free, but what about the web and app world? Why are they missing? Is it because the phone is not activated yet?

The applications are not hidden nor did another wipe and install of the OS help either. I quickly looked at the files in the Core applications list and did not see the memo or tasks app there. View 13 Replies View RelatedI have a Tour & did an OS upgrade through Wireless Update. I had 3 folders in Contacts(top of each contact had three different sync references). Looks like there is 2 of the folders and missing one. How can I set up Blackberry Desktop to sync with one of the missing folders and just get the contacts that that folder or "sync" description?I guess I need to know where and how to find the one folder as well.I do not know if folder is right term. On my contacts the top says "Synchronize Using: Unknown" or Synchronize Using: Desktop". I know there was a third and can not remember the heading.I just need those contacts in that sync.Hopefully I am communicating this correctly.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI've recently come upon a severely aggravating problem: I have a message notification icon that will just not go away. It shows that I have an unread message in my SMS/MMS, but there is nothing at all. I've marked all previous items as opened and even went so far as to delete all of my previous messages, but no dice. The rest of my notifications are working perfectly fine, appearing and disappearing as they should. Any suggestions or fixes? (And yes, of course I already tried a battery pull, I'm aware that's it is the BB panacea for all problems).

View 4 Replies View RelatedSince last week, after I recieved an "event reminder" e-mail from a co-worker, I can NOT get the 1 new message symbol off of my phone. I have gone through ALL of my message folders for days now. I have pulled the battery 5 times. The stupid yellow message symbol with the number 1 WILL NOT GO AWAY! I don't know what to do.
Oh and another thing... after that day, when I try to put my phone on "silent" it still vibrates, and when I put it on "vibrate" it makes sounds!
I've somehow hidden the icon for SMS/MMS access/messages. It's not only no longer on my welcome screen, I can't find it in the list of programs/applications.
After getting an update for my bb world I now have an icon for NFL that I neither use or want. How do I delete this thing?

View 5 Replies View RelatedGot a Tour last month, upgraded to new 5.0.0.whatever software with Verizon, started having phantom new messages.I tried everything--battery pull, searching "unopened only" messages, I even wiped my entire phone and reloaded everything.
Nothing worked and Verizon gave me a new phone but two days later, I'M HAVING THE EXACT SAME PROBLEM!!Does anyone know how to fix this issue?

Deleting everything in my message folder
Turning the phone off
Taking the battery out
Sending additional email to see if that re-sets it before taking the battery out
I am using a Tour 9630 BB. My question is how can I delete an icon the I do not want to use from my home page. I know that I can made it hide, but I would rather delete it and save memory.

View 8 Replies View RelatedA new icon popped up on my phone randomly and it says to do a wireless update and when i click it it says i have version 4.7.1.61 and it wants me to update to 4.7.1.61 (4.1.0.81) and I don't know what it means at all, so far I've looked through a few threads already posted but nothing thats 100% the same and I don't want to do something to mess up my phone. View 5 Replies View RelatedI have noticed that there is an odd icon (black circle with white arrow inside) in the upper right corner of the phone, next to the bluetooth icon and I have no idea what it is. Anyone ever seen this or know what it is?I'm also wondering if this has anything to do with the sound not working either. I have the profile set to normal, and all calls set to sound and yet when any calls come in, there is no sound at all. I have check all the sound settings and everything is set to have sound, so I have no idea whats going on.Any help would be appreciated.
