This is all very new to me, but I'm glad I decided to go down this road, after having my first problem solved to day I'm delighted. I am now faced with another, some times I can restore my pictures (photos) to my Torch and other times it doesn't work and I don't know what I'm doing wrong.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI am unable to restore several programs (PWKeeper, BBM, BBTraffic, Memo, Tasks, Maps) after a wipe and OS upgrade. I backed up the phone prior to the wipe but did not turn off wireless sync. Learning now that I should have. I have deleted desktop sync service book, rebooted, tried to restore. No success. Even reinstalled OS. Is there combo-keys to enter on phone that turns off wireless sync prior to restore? DM is not allowing me to restore these apps. 9850 Storm.

My Blackberry rebooted (to delete an app) and now all the files on the media card aren't available through the media shortcuts.I was able to get the music files to appear by using "Explore", finding each file and opening each song individually.Only then did they appear in my player.I am unable to get my pictures to display.I can see them when I "explore" but not through the pictures shortcut.Why isn't my device set up to read media files automatically from the media card? I've tried every option and setting I can think of and need some help.I'm within my 14 day window, and thinking of taking it back!It worked and now it doesn't!Is there something wrong with my phone?

View 9 Replies View RelatedI lost my bb 9800, i think i have data somewhere on bb server because when i login on BB protect website i can see that in archived back up details but i'm unable to restore it. And when i try to restore on my new 9810 it says "This data is already wirelessely synchronized with a remote service and cannot be restored by blackberry protect" only for contacts. And i've archived the device by mistake n now it shows "Remote admin commands are not available on archived devices".

View 9 Replies View RelatedI've not had my torch 9800 for long. But lately taking pictures the images have been saving as a jpg rem file. Instead of just jpg. Last night I connected my BB throught the usb to transfer some pictures to the laptop but was only able to see a preview of my first few pictures(jpg) and the latest ones (jpg rem) were unable to be previewed, so was unable to transfer! Not changed any thing on camera options so at a lost to why they have changed!

I had automatic backups set up from the Blackberry desktop manager and Blackberry protect. I was under the assumption that these backups also backed up information on the SD card. Unfortunatley, when I tried to restore my phone using a blackberry desktop no old files where restored to my new SD card.I have read an old post that says the automatic backups do not backup SD card documents but am unsure if that is still true.Is there anyway I could restore the files using the backups?

When it came on after the reset it wanted me to restore using ATT Ready2Go. I exited out of it hoping to get the normal HTC setup but it just took me to the home screen. I signed into my HTC account in settings but could not find a place to restore it.
I have used icloud on my ipad before and it couldn't have been easier, just sign in and it restored everything.
