Aug 23, 2011I have changed my email password on my gmail account using the web browser on my desktop. But I am having difficulty accessing the email settings on my Torch so that I can tap in the new password. I go to "Set up" and then have the choice of "Internet mail account" or "Enterprise account". I click on the first one and get a page entitled "existing users". I then have to tap in my user name and password. I assume this refers to my blackberry username and password. But when I tap the info in and press "continue" I get a message saying "The user name is invalid. A user name must be at least 4 characters". My user name is my gmail address which includes 16 letters before @gmail.com.

Sep 3, 2010Weird problem here, my Notes application cannot find the notes I've written, it's like they were auto-deleted. The first time it happened I thought maybe I exited without pressing done, thinking maybe that saves it. But it's happened to me several times. I write a note, press done, exit out of the program. Open up the program and the note is still there, but after a day or 2 it's just completely gone. I'm not even syncing it or anything. This is on a ip4 with 4.02 and no JB.

Aug 10, 2011I cant accept incoming calls, disconnect outgoing calls, end browser when on internet, and my touchpad does not respond either. my call send button, end call button and my trackpad do not respond at all...any ideas??? please help!!! My phone has not got wet or been dropped. I checked for an update when I was notified that there was one available but when i got to the site it told me that no upgrade was available, made no sense.

Jan 21, 2012Recently updated BlackberryTorch 45 to 7.0 Bundle 2404. Ever since, whenever I make a call, the screen locks. I can't browse while on a call, and I can't even activate speaker phone or dial an extension after the initial number. The only thing I can do is hang-up. Once I hang up, everything returns to normal. Is there a new security setting I am missing, or is this some new undocumented extra feature?

LG G3 :: Contacts Accessing GAL On Exchange
Oct 23, 2014I setup my G3 with Active Sync or an Exchange account. When I search for a contact's phone number I can pull up the personal contacts from Outlook but it does not automatically search the Global Address List which is the companies address book on the Exchange server. I have check my settings under Contacts and it is set to search all accounts.
If I open a new email from the default mail app that comes with the phone it will automatically access the GAL on the Exchange server. In other words I type in the name in the To: field of the person and it finds the names from the GAL.
My other two Android devices would automatically find the GAL, and with an iPhone one has to take some extra steps to find the information but it does find it. LG told me to purchase a third party mail app but I am not sure that would resolve the issue with the contacts search.
