I get phone calls and need to make appointments or change appointments all the time. I cannot get into my calendar to change schedules, or add new appointments. I don't know if there is something I am missing, but I have hung up on ppl while trying to figure out where, and how, to put in my password, so that I can access all the features. I always have my phone password locked for safety.
View 1 RepliesMy former Android phone had an app that was able to speed dial one of 8 people even when the phone was locked. It appeared on the lock screen and was able to dial one of 8 numbers with a single press and swipe. It dialed based on the direction of the swipe.
Is there something similar for Windows 10 Phone? I'd rather not need to unlock the phone in order to dial one of my most called contacts.
It doesn't have to be an app that behaves exactly like this. Just curious how others have efficiently handled speed-dial.

View 11 Replies View RelatedI have had the torch for about 2 weeks and initially didn't like it at all, I had a Curve for 2 years but dropped it once too often :-(. Anyway I am a big guy 6'2" 225 and I am still getting used to typing (hope i will), but the biggest issue I have is the "Lock" button for the phone. I usually keep the phone in my pocket and if you breath on the lock button too hard the phone unlocks. Is there an option for holding the lock button down for "X" seconds before the phone unlocks, I loved that you had to hit 2 keys to unlock the Curve. I really don't want to deal with a password, is that my only option?
i really only want it for text,email and talking to people, would I be better off with the new Curve 3G?
My BB Torch always calls to a random person when i am on a call. need to fix.

It is taking multiple attemts to unlock my phone.I also observed that when I get to call, to cancel dragging the icon from right to left this is required multiple attempts.i.e many time dragging icon from right to left.
I don't know whether it is software problem or hardware. I have tried the repair operation also. my xperia neo is uptodate and running 2.3.4 os.I also tried to un install apps but I couldn't find any difference.Also once I unlock, those 5 screens, I can scroll inbetween and can touch home button. But when I long press on the screen to add widget/folder I am unable to do it as soon as I unlock phone. It is taking some time to respond.
As I purchased this phone in UK and using it in India, I am not sure how much service I can get in india from SE.I have bill for the mobile too.in other posts somebody told me to remove yahoo and i did the same but didn't find any difference.in short the touch scence is not responsive during unlock and for a while once get the home screen. I just saw the torch at at&t store and I have to get it. The question is I live outside US and I need to get it unlocked.Now, I saw that at at&t store, they are selling the torch for 499 dollars without contract. I am sure this is locked.If I can get this phone (I know I need to get someone with at&t to go with me to buy it), I can unlock it. This is for sure, right?
I see that some sites are selling it for 599 and 699 dollars but I dont want to pay the extra amount if I can get it unlocked.
For some reason my Torch will unlock by itself when placed in my case. The case was for a 9700 Bold and I tried at the ATT store with a pouch 'designed' for the Torch with the same results. The lock/unlock key is so sensitive that even in my pants pocket it will unlock.
All of my old BB's would not unlock until I hit the 2 combo keys which was fine. At least the bold would stay locked in the pouch which was fine.
my touch screen cracked after I droppet my Xperia Mini Pro on the pavement. I can still see everything on the screen, but when I try to unlock the phone by sliding the touch screen, there's no reply. The keyboard however works fine, so what I'm wondering is if there's any way for me to use the keyboard to unlock my phone?

I cant accept incoming calls, disconnect outgoing calls, end browser when on internet, and my touchpad does not respond either. my call send button, end call button and my trackpad do not respond at all...any ideas??? please help!!! My phone has not got wet or been dropped. I checked for an update when I was notified that there was one available but when i got to the site it told me that no upgrade was available, made no sense.
View 1 Replies View RelatedWhen my new Xperia mini receives a call while in my pocket, the screen remains lock when I take it up and I cannot find any way to activate the display and thereby slide the slider to answer the call. After some seconds the call times out and the display becomes black while the vibrator runs constantly for around 30 seconds. After that the phone goes completely dead for maybe 30 seconds. And after that I can unlock it normally.I have not altered any of the factory default settings related to display locking.This does not happen if a call is received while the phone is on a table etc.

I have a Nokia 5800 XM (RM-428 v31.2.101.263.04) and would like to enable auto-unlock touchscreen during incoming call. It is quite annoying to have to use touchscreen unlock slider on the side and then press "Answer" to answer any incoming call.
View 4 Replies View RelatedAs a fairly new X2 owner (I just switched from an X1 a few weeks ago), one thing that really bugs me is that when I'm on a call that I originate, the phone does not remain on the "call in progress" screen. Instead it goes back to the home screen and if I want to access any "call in progress" options, I have to pull down the notification shade.
Is there any way to change this? Do I have any options?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have the X6. The phone rings and I unlock the keyguard using the slider on the side of the phone and the phone stops ringing. Then in order to answer the phone I press the green button on the bottom left of the phone or I press answer call on the screen and then I can speak which I suppose sounds fair enough. But I just think that something is wrong because surely the phone should continue to make the 'ringing' noise until I actually answer the call rather than going mute just because I have unlocked the keyguard.. Am I doing something wrong or is this just how the phone works?
