Can i access (send/receive) emails anywhere in the world as part of my BIS pack?
i currently have a service with 3 and was lead to believe that i could but called through to my customer care line and they told me the opposite. i wanted to pose the question here for someone of blackberry expertise to inform me.
I'm not assessing my bb id accoun. And the code is correct. Its telling me unable to update your bb id account info. And more often can't accessing my app world nor even bb protect. Now what seems to be the problem?
View 3 Replies View RelatedI setup my G3 with Active Sync or an Exchange account. When I search for a contact's phone number I can pull up the personal contacts from Outlook but it does not automatically search the Global Address List which is the companies address book on the Exchange server. I have check my settings under Contacts and it is set to search all accounts.
If I open a new email from the default mail app that comes with the phone it will automatically access the GAL on the Exchange server. In other words I type in the name in the To: field of the person and it finds the names from the GAL.
My other two Android devices would automatically find the GAL, and with an iPhone one has to take some extra steps to find the information but it does find it. LG told me to purchase a third party mail app but I am not sure that would resolve the issue with the contacts search.

View 8 Replies View RelatedI just picked up my E72 phone and I was wondering if there was a quick way to access notifications that come at the bottom of the screen when a new SMS has come in or there has been a missed call. Its really irritating to get an SMS, then when I unlock the phone and scroll using the opti-pad to the tab with new SMS it keeps going passed it. So maybe there is a way around this? Like a shortcut key?

View 9 Replies View RelatedSuddenly my Sony Ericsson Xperia Pro has a problem:1. The Music application cannot access my track list. When i press the Media Library button it tells me that the Media library is empty.
2. The same happens with the Gallery application. When i open it it cannot display my photos and tells me "0 photosvideos found"....I tried shooting new photos with the camera application but it told me it cannot save files. After trying several times it saved 2 photos so i reopened the gallery application and it displayed the 2 new photos. However it still cannot display my old ones.
3. I downloaded a file manager application from the market and it opened all my photos, videos, and music normally.
4. The problem also happens when I connect my phone to my Laptop using the phone cable. The Laptop cannot see the files on the sdcard except the 2 new photos. However, if I remove the card from the phone, put it in a microSD to SD Adapter, and insert it in my laptop card reader, the laptop displays all my files normally.
5. I copied all the files, formatted the sdcard, and then recopied the files again to the card but it did not solve the problem.
6. I changed the SD card with another one and copied all my data on the new one, however the problem persists.
7. I opened the storage settings and i see that it displays the free space on my sdcard correctly but it cannot display the amount taken by music, photos, and videos.
I was wondering if it is possible to access sms messages on my mini x10 pro on my pc when connected via usb. I want to be able to backup my sms messages onto my pc before deleting them on the phone.

I absolutely love the app and the notifications on my lock screen, however, I'm having an issue with the app not accessing the pattern unlock screen. I've set it both in settings and via SlideLock, but for some reason, but it just won't activate the pattern unlock when I access the phone.

View 3 Replies View RelatedHaving some issues accessing or even finding the photos stored on my device. iPhone 4S iOS 5.1 Image Capture only sees the "Camera Roll" (500 or so pictures in there) but I can't access anything else. Here's how my Photo Library is structured on my device:

I can't access the last three using Image Capture, iPhoto - can't even find any of these photos via 3rd party file browser utilites. I've also mounted the iPhone to disk but can't find photos anywhere. (I've tried showing/hiding hidden files in OS X - still nothing)

View 4 Replies View RelatedI have recently bought a BB 9300 Curve. However ever since the day I have been using the set, precisely last Sunday, I have been getting messages every 15 minutes which read as "Last Session Cost: 0.50 INR, Session Data accessed: 0.1 MB.
The above data of course have been varying and since that day this has resulted in the deduction of almost 40 INR. I have repeatedly tried to touch base with my mobile service provider - Vodafone with this issue, but they have clearly told me their inability to help me with the issue.Also what I have been told is to stop the "Push mail" option in Internet settings, whereas I have no internet facility yet activated in my BB and that I have not yet accessed any browser or mail set-up.
i have d bis service activated on my new curve 3g (full service)recently i have started noticing that my balance is geting deducted every now nd then so i decided to ask the operators whr is d balance geting deducted they tell me that i have been using gprs on my blackberry why would some1 use gprs when 3g bis is activated it dint make any sense to me so i decided to go to the nearby service center and there they tell me that since blackberry is a verry advanced phone it keeps trying to acces gprs even though bis is activated he suggested me dat there must be some 3rd party app which is trying to use gprs!so he suggested me i remoove all 3rd party apps and check if the same is happening! and i did so, since then for 3-4 days balance was not geting deducted!
since 1 week i have discountinued with the service for some reasons and i have noticed that the balance has started geting deducted again ! and it follows a specific pattern every hour at exactly 4 mins passed (10:04 , 11:04, 12:04) the handset is trying to acces gprs i mean there r no 3rd party app installed on my fone except for foursquare, google maps, and bloomberg mobile!
i read in some other posts in the forum that there is some app which tries to use gprs backdoor!and since yesterday randomly my bb starts giving sumnotification sounds when i chk 4 any notificatin it is not showing anything!
But for now,I have a basic inquiry.i use aol email(accessed using tmobile web n walk) and need to access music i receive to work on .when i receive a mail over 5mb,i do not have the option to open or save it?why is this(even my old c902 had no limit as such)?also an attachment accessed via my laptop measured at say for instance,4.5mb(a fairly normal music file size) will be increased by 20% or so in size when accessing it via the X10?why?this is pushing most of the files over this 5mb limit(if there is indeed a limit)Would setting up a different email account make any difference or how i view/access my mail?are there any other settings i could change?ive contacted SE and they see no reason for it not to work 'in theory' but havnt actually guided me to any solution.

I would like to access some of it, not all of it. It takes up 3.4GB of my cloud, Is there anyway to tell/access it? I also have a newer ipad (32GB).
